[IC] Looking at the past- between Espatier and Aisling

[Aisling]

"Let's head to El Paso area then we will find the prison just south of it. The prison is called Penitentiary Correction Facility. I'll make a few calls and see if I can arrange for an interview with them." Linda spoke as she got on the phone. After several minutes of talking she given to the Head of Repentance. Then finally was able to find out that one person can see Dan. She put Lance's name down.

"You can see Dan after his work shift tomorrow. Matt is behaving himself at the moment so you might be able to see him as well. Only one visitor at a time and Dan will be supervised at all times. You will have 3 guards with you if and when you see Dan." Linda spoke.

[Espatier]

"great, I'll have to think for some open ended question for him to answer. Any rules that I need to be made aware of like "don't feed the beers"?

Lance set the GPS and began to follow the directions to get to the prison.

[Aisling]

"You will be search and will go through a metal detector. No gifts but you will be allowed 1 pen and a pad. All gifts must be given to the security guard who will inspect it before giving to the inmate. Food is not the best gift but money to buy things would be the best gift. if you want it used for a specific item, you just make a notation what it is for. " Linda spoke as she read the rules that were sent to her.

[Espatier]

"Of course I'm going to ask him what happened that night... do you think that the guards will tip off anyone to us snooping around?" Lance asked Linda.

[Aisling]

"Matt is a lifer. I doubt that they even care. Dan is not a lifer and has told all that he knew about the cult. And he has cooperated with authorities the whole time while Dan did not. He even said that the Diary was not his. In the end he was labeled an habitual lair.' Linda spoke.

[Espatier]

" We need to get to matt... he is a lifer, Dan is just wait to get the hell out of prison. If matt will talk...at all." Lance explained

[Aisling]

"We or rather you will have to wait and see what they will allow. I am sure that if Matt cooperates, he can be given a bit of money to use for himself. Use the wording carefully and wisely. Don't say the word bribe but something like a reward for information that is needed to do some tracking of Florence. Then be specific about the questions. The guards will know that we are trying to locate her because I already told them that much. " Linda spoke quietly.

[Espatier]

" reward for information... humm" Lance thought out loud. " How far are we from the prison , now?"
Lance asked "And what time can we go and talk to them?"

[Aisling]

"We are close to the prison. Matt can be anytime and Dan after 3 PM. Up there is a large facility...... that might be the place." Linda spoke as she looked out the window.

[Espatier]

" I'll go see Matt first then hopefully Dan.... can you think of anything else that I might hit him up on? " Lance commented as he turned to make his way to the prison and recheck the GPS.

" I was thinking of the following questions..

1. Why? <--- it's a open ended questions to get him talking if he does.
2. what do you think of a certain woman disappearing?
3. Who's body did they really find?

[Aisling]

"You could ask where she might be if she was still alive. The only body they found was Kevin's. It has been assume that she was dazed and walked into the lake then drowned........ I am not sure what else to ask Matt." Linda spoke cautiously.

[Espatier]

" Yeah.. I was thinking the same, I hope that he will speak so we will have a better starting point". Lance said " Did you want to stay behind in the R.V."

[Aisling]

"Of course I'll stay behind. Do you have any of those things that goes in an ear to hear someone and the other person is at another place with a receiver... A way to communicate with each other while you are inside?" Linda asked.

[Espatier]

" miniature radio and transceiver...yeah we can do that" Lance commented " Let me first pull up to a spot where I can get to my gear under the R.V. and get things started before rolling up to the lot.

[Aisling]

"Good idea. I'll set up the study and can help you along the way with what info I can dig up. Offering for important info will be a good incentive with the promise of more if the info can lead us to Florence Kenndy." Linda replied.

[Espatier]

" That is if... that fish "bites" on that line..." smiled Lance as he got up out of his seat to get some of his gear under the belly of the R.V. five minutes later he returned with a box that he laid on the table. Lance spent a good 30 minutes in making sure that the gear was working correctly before offering it to linda.

" Test, test, one, two , three, testing" Lance spoke into the device and waited for Linda to reply as he waiting 20 ft away from the R.V. on the outside.

[Aisling]

"Test test testing right back... 1-2-3..... coming in clear here!" Linda spoke back.

[Espatier]

"Better wish my luck on the inside" Lance laughed. Lance returned to his seat to drive and find parking. checking over his gear one last time before leaving and said to linda " Keep that computer handy!". Lance made his way to the prison's visitor's center to get answers.

[Aisling]

Linda sat at the controls by the computer. She could only hope that she could stay in contact with Lance. Sometimes prisons have a barrier to keep calls from the outside which could jam the radio signals.

At the door was a guard with a rifle.

"How may I help you?" he asked gruffly as he blocked the door.

[Espatier]

" I should be on a list, my name is Lance Simmon and I'm here to see Matt Dickenson" he explained
