Personality- suspicious but relatively friendly when she thinks she might be able to trust you, very animal-friendly, clever

Appearance

Strengths- fire-based magic, can do some (but not much) wind magic, mainly to augment her flames
Weaknesses- ironically, fire, if she has control of it it won't hurt her but she has fur so she'll burn, she also can't swim very well.

Bio- she's been living in a rural district of Hearthrown for most of her life. nothing particularly interesting has happened to her until she left the city one day, to get away from the hustle and bustle and was attacked and nearly killed until a wolf appeared and protected her from the monsters until someone found her and took her back to the city, the wolf followed but was not allowed into the city and when Alluria got better she went and found the wolf, claiming it as her 'pet' to get it into the city and naming it Baxter. they have been together for awhile now.

Strengths- just a normal wolf, slightly bigger then normal but not by much

Bio- had had your average wolf life until one day he was patrolling near the big human city and saw a girl, he felt a weird connection to the girl and when she was attacked he felt an urge to protect her and sat watch over her for at least a few hours before others arrived and helped her. after returning to the pack he felt the need to go back and check on her repeatedly until one day she came out again and brought him back into the city with her, and he's stayed with her since

I'm wondering about a character that would be a good match to get involved with her. It would be funny if they get in fights a lot with the overprotective Baxter.

Maybe they are a cat lover instead of a dog/wolf lover. Hmm...a tough captain who secretly loves cats but she pretends that she doesn't? Or maybe she does like all animals but has to keep up the tough gal persona. Or probably they truly don't get along well at the start. And maybe she's a halfkin cat? So the rivalry is even larger.

If your character was born with magic (her being a civilian I see no mention of her getting the goddess cells implanted), perhaps my captain goes over to her place to check her out because this is an extreme rarity and she would like to investigate.

The magic thing isn't a problem because it opened up a good plot device to get us together and become targets to the enemy.

Just as thought. It's nearly impossible to find a picture of a catgirl dressed in legitimate battle gear and in a serious pose. I'll just find a normal person and say they have cat ears/tail to make it easier on me.

Name- Rikka Hantrot
Age- 42
Gender- Female
Species- Cat Halfkin
Occupation- Captain ranked warrior of the Investigative Legion
Personality- She's serious, fierce, logical, and determined...at least on the surface. She hides another personality that loves adorable animals such as cats (dogs don't count) and loves to mess around with silly things such as yarn. However, with her sense of duty and wanting to keep up appearances she struggles to keep this personality in check at all times, only slipping into the personality when she lets her guard down and can't contain herself any longer. She's very friendly once you can break through her outer shell, loyal to her friends to the point of dying for them if need be. She has the most trouble of warming up to dog halfkin or those like them, being natural born rivals.
Appearance:

She also has black cat ears, yellow eyes, slightly pointed canine teeth, and a black cat tail.

Armor

She has it in black (as almost all of the Investigative Legion) and doesn't have the emblem designs on it and is not as bulky looking yet still retaining strong defensive properties.

Strengths- She's insanely fast and skilled with daggers both melee and throwing, and also good at hand-to-hand combat. Her physical strength is upgraded past normal human abilities although is not her primary focus. She can see well in the dark, react quickly, and smell even faint scents. Perhaps due to her catlike qualities she can almost always land on her feet and has good balance using her tail.
Weaknesses- She can seldom defeat opponents with brute force unless they are Class D or E. She's not very good at taking damage and only has weak ice magic.

Bio- She was born in a small village on the right side of the body called Riagge, home mostly to cat halfkin and humans. Due to the discovery of her sensitivity to Goddess Cells, a common ceremony done on all villagers here and in many other places once they reach 8 years old, she was sent in to training to become a warrior and do her clan proud. She was raised with this notion in mind, seldom having free time to mess around. Due to her not being a particularly sturdy warrior, and rather preferred mobility and quick thinking, she was placed into the Investigation Legion. They didn't go specifically out to fight, but rather to investigate situations that may require their attention, such as but not limited to finding hiding spots for the macrobians.

Her assignments had her going all over the "world" but has mostly been stationed around the torso regions. Her latest assignment has her investigating a near unheard of claim stating that a civilian is somehow able to cast magic without being injected with the Goddess Cells. That doesn't sound possible, but if it is then it is most certainly worth her time to investigate.
