"Enough of this," the prince let said pulling away, turning his face so Ella couldn't see, "I suppose I must make... friends with the others. If they'd even let me."
Ella turned from him, knowing that he'd be swiftly drying his eyes. He was still an arrogant prince after all. And a prince's pride held no bounds.
"You make vish to let me do the talking this time," Ella suggested, her basket filled with sweet fruits and fresh vegetables, "I t'ink I might be a bit more trusted in this area than you." Two arms swept around her waist from behind, a cool breath on her ear.
"And this is why you should of just married me so long ago, instead of running off to the stupid ball just to spite me," a cool sultry voice murmured against her ear.
"Jus' because I comforted you, oh Prince of Princes, does not give yu permission to hold me as if yu own me," she huffed, though slightly red in the face, thrusting the basket into his arms. She ignored the chuckle she heard behind her, as she led the way to Ariel's house.
Knocking on the door, she made sure check behind her to make sure the Ice Prince was there, doing as she told him, for once in his life. He was. But he seemed distracted-
"Hey, eyes up," she snapped, those sensual silver eyes slowly sliding up her body to meet her gaze. No. She wouldn't let him get to her. She turned quickly to face the door, hoping to the Gods that the mermaid would open up soon. For some reason she felt it might be a bad idea to be alone with Phillip at the moment. Ella had shown him weakness, kindness, and he was ready to enchant, just as he had done so long ago. No. No way. She was no one's toy. Why did no prince get that?
