So, a couple questions for the other roleplayers here.

1. Have any of you done this kind of roleplaying before? It's definitely a new take on play by post. Much more dynamic, in my opinion, and allows for kinds of interaction that you just do not get anywhere else.
2. How do you like it so far?

For me, I've already done this kind of roleplaying with Asuras before and it's objectively better than regular old play-by-post. It plays better, it runs better, it reads better. It's just better.

I prefer this to the usual post-by-post. The interaction is a lot smoother.

In my honest opinion, I believe that roleplaying such as this fits in its own category. You don't find interaction this dynamic in advanced, but the plot direction and advancement goes in such a way that it also wouldn't fit in casual. Sure, there are stupidly long posts just like in advanced, but it isn't because the IC thread is 'EVERYONE WRITE YOUR OWN NOVEL LOL'. It's due to the fact that we are putting interactions together in one big lump sum. It ends up being more readable, cohesive, and kind of... serialized, I guess? Episodic? No definitely serialized.

Not like I'm looking down my nose at everyone in Advanced it's just... I've been in Advanced, man. RPs don't last very long, they take forever, the pace is horrible, it always feels just a bit stuffy and pretentious, and even if the RPs do last, they usually are never RPs I'd give a shit about joining anyway.

Alrighty! Well rested and brain working properly again! Slowpoking over, got something typed out in Ley's collab. So guess she'll just be poking around and checking back on that every so often to see of Asuras popped on. This is all new to her, feels weird, man.

Pixiv of gelbooru for the most part. Pixiv fantasia tag is good for fantasy stuff

So I tried Danbooru. Hard to find fully clothed characters. Like. Really hard. I got maybe three good ones out of forty pages. XD

First type in a tag you want, for example

full_armor

Then type in

rating:safe

And BAM. All pictures with the tag full_armor will only present non-NSFW images (never mind the fact that full armor tends not to show skin xD)

Deviantart is the only place I use for images. So many amazing artists there, so it's easy to find something very close to what you want.
