It's ok, I've been gone for most of the day anyway, so there's no worry about delaying things. Excellent post... So the big city is Verrun, but what's the name of the farming town? Did I miss it?

Doesn't actually have a name. Or at least I didn't think to give it one, it's that small. So... have fun with it!

How close is the cart to the house? Can Kijani hear the two of them talking? Also, she's going to have to talk to Feather, so there'll be a bit of short posting, if that's okay.

EDIT: Also, I'm *still* snickering at 'pig shit'. That was brilliant.

Hmm, that's a good question. I'd say the cart is far enough back from the house that she may not hear exactly what's being said, but she might catch the tones. And by all means, if I can have a conversation between the Alderman and Victor, there is no reason you can not do the same for your two characters!

(Laughing at myself) It's been such a hectic week, I forgot I created her! My apologies! I'm getting ready for a gaming convention on Saturday and another one the following weekend, so my mind's been a tad preoccupied. I'm just a *tad* behind in my work. (Grins foolishly.)

If you want Feather, then by all means take her; she's simple, not very bright and terribly weak willed. Fully capable of running a farming household, not so capable of anything resembling original thought. Nine out of ten questions put to her would be answered with, "I'd need to ask my Da about that." If you would prefer that I retain control and play her, I would be glad to do so as well.

Honestly I might need you to play her, mostly because left in my hands, she'd start growing a personality. Weak willed women are not my style (as you'll eventually see from Kijani). I'll probably be putting through another character later on... it'll be a while though.

What sort of convention is it? You mentioned gaming but even that needs narrowing down. Video games? Tabletop games? Card games?

[Justric]

The short answer is 'yes.' LIL'COn is a very small, local convention that hosts to gaming of any and all sorts. It's 'big brother' is Queen City ConQuest, which happens in the early fall. There's a room for video games both new and 'classic', board games, collectible card games, table-top rpgs, wargaming, etc.. etc... No LARP events, though. Not because it's not considered gaming but because there tends not to be enough room what with everything else going on. I hand craft and sell historically based board games (Morris games, Fox & Geese, Alquerque, Tafl, Tablut, Victorian horse racing games, and so on) as a vendor.

Sadly, the convention today got postponed due to the weather. All that last minute rushing and anticipation! Argh! But to grasp the silver lining of my castle that I've build in the clouds, it gives me a chance to get caught up on the writing rpgs! And there is a larger convention next weekend in Geneseo, NY. They are doing a steampunk theme this year, and as my display includes a 1930s cathedral radio that plays 1920s music while I dress in a style from 1910, I hope to draw in some decent profit.

*grins* Not gonna lie- I have absolutely no idea about any of the things you're selling. But I admire your passion. It must be awesome to have a trade like that. I hope things get back in gear for you soon, though. I know all about rain delays.
