Well then it's something new for you to work with. I am not one to have a usual character and normal relationships. I usually give my characters at least one large flaw and one of hers is her sensitivity level. Plus she is not used to people rejecting her in any sort of way and she's been alive for a ridiculous amount of time. If it wasn't for Alex she would not have minded to watch the world destroy itself. Meet Nyx.

Short of yelling at her, I've got no more ideas. I've had Nessie try to be kind, apologize and everything and I just can't think of how to make things right. What can Nessie do? I fear that if I have her try to hug Nyx, Nyx would burst into tears. I just don't know what to do.

She means that using force will have thd OPPOSITE effect, which it almost always does. How many friends have you made by yelling at them? She means just be patient and non-antagonistic.
