It's definitely slower overnight in the Western hemisphere, that seems to be where many of the players come from.

It's also finals time for those still in school in the Northern Hemisphere, mine come in three weeks, others are already starting, and plenty of people are working on school projects up the wazoo.

I think the site has also lost a lot of members because of the site going down for extended periods of time (like it did mid-winter). A lot of people don't find this site worth it with that, which is reasonable.

I'm still battling the site being down. Most of the time when I try to access it from my phone during the day (in class, on the bus, etc), it is down. That's really frustrating. But I accept the site is still under construction. I really like a lot of the people here, so I'm staying. But I can see why people might go elsewhere.

Seravee - That sounds off. RPG hasn't gone down that often in recent times, with the exception being the two to three day thing. You mean it's frequently down for long periods of time?

I expect a lot assumed it was gone permanently and just didn't bother checking and/or already latched themselves onto a new site. RPG was down for a long time.

The site undeniably lost the majority of it's activity from the several months the guild was down.
Some just assumed it would never come back and left, others found other communities in the time and stayed there, other's decided to blame Mahz for it and leave because they felt the mod's were incompetent (Which they were not by any means. Hell I outright snapped/raged at those who started yelling at Mahz for the issue).

However, I wouldn't be surprised to see it slowly drop over time afterwards as well. Exams and such not included.
I mean many people would of joined the site again and found many of their old friends are gone reducing their want to stay.
Overtime I image this would weed out more and more people who just didn't feel it was the same without ______ being there.
That's just theory however, I could be totally wrong on that.

This is basically how I feel about it. Although, I tried to find other sites like the Guild when it went down, but there's just nothing quite like it out there.

I believe they typically end at the end of June in Canada and the US. At least, for high school.

However, it always depends on the type of exam. IB exams, for example, happen in May. Schools with the year divided into trimesters would have final exams three times a year.

Sounds like a mobile problem, either the site being unfriendly to mobile platforms or your connection while on your phone sucking hard at times (which is what I'm betting on, because that notice you're getting could just mean your connection at that time is too slow to actually connect to the site). I'm on the site all the time on my computer and haven't ever seen that happening.

Jorick, I figured it was a mobile issue as well. But the rest of my websites work, so it's a problem with this particular site. I do most of my surfing on mobile, so it is a bit frustrating.
