We did lose a chunk of our membership when the site went down, this is true, but hey, give it time, drag people kicking and screaming to the Fonz's sacrificial alter, and people will return, we'll get new folks, and so on...

There's also the part where a number of people were already inactive and hasn't logged in the Oldguild for a long while (some even years). So when the Guild falls and the list refreshed, those inactive people are wiped from the member list.
This is something I have no idea but, if banned member is still counted, then there's that and various alt accounts.

Ah, meant about the number of members in both OldGuild and nuGuild.
Does the banned members still counted in the total member count?
If yes, of course there're larger amount still because OldGuild had years worth of spam/adbot and banned members.
