[OOC] Digimon Warriors

Plot
Thousands of years ago the eight legendary warriors of both the human and Digimon race fought a great evil. To ensure the worlds safety, the warriors spread artifacts parts of their bodies around the human and digital world. Waiting for the next time evil shall arise, and eight warriors are needed.

-Modern Day-

You and your classmates are on a field trip to a museum when you see a display case with a set of eight sparkling and different colored gems, but one of them look alive to you. Almost as if it is reaching out for you. But, before you could get any closer you’re pulled back with the group. However, the image of the gem never leaves you mind.

Later that night you have a weird dream about these strange creatures with powers, you and seven other kids are fighting them. Seeing that each of you have some sort of strange weapon that you use to control an element. When you wake up there is a strange gauntlet on your right hand the color reminiscent of the gem you saw at the museum, there is even an empty socket in the back of the hand. Your tries to remove it prove to be futile after one last tug you find it actually hurts, as if the thing were a part of your flesh.

Rules
1. No godmodding
2. No killing other players
3. Do not do things that majorly affect the story without permission from me
5. If someone is upsetting you, let me know
6. No focusing everything on your character. Everyone is involved in a way
7. Romance is allowed, but don’t go too far, if you do go to Pm, or fade to black, as it is PG-13
8. Any other common role play rules we may have missed
9. No repeat families
10. There is a maximum of one characters per person
11. Minimum age 15 max age 18
12. One family per character
13. We have the right to change or add rules

Other Information
The Digimon Warriors can be most digimon, and there will be a total of eight people and one power based off of the digimon, and its family. The other factor is the attribute, I want to go for a sort of Forth Season feel without the spirit evolving. There will be NPC digimon that will help too.

Name: Jason Blades

Personality: Jason is a kind and very goofy. He usually makes jokes at the worst timing imaginable, but he does have a serious streak that drives him.
History: Jason was born to and raised by his mother alone. Growing up he used the characters off of his favorite tv show to be his role models. At school it was hard for him to fit in as his constant wise cracks made him a target for constant bullying. But the museum was great because he felt like he was in another world.

Weapon/Item: One of TigerVespamon's swords and the red scarf.

First off your character will be able to control elements based on their family. Like Dragon Roar usually control fire and so on.
The gems help you control the artifacts power without them it is hard to focus and maintain your control.

Most Digimon will hate humans because Legend hasn't favored them due to propaganda and only a select few of Digimon will know the truth of the warriors. The others will try and either kill you or capture you.

Also a side effect of using the powers is you gain thoughts based off of your attribute. Virus are darker thoughts like the symbiote in Spiderman 3. Vaccine tend to be nicer and want to help everyone in trouble. Data are neutral and don't care as long as the job is done.

Name: Saren Blades
Age: 18
Appearance:

Personality: Is calm, and relaxed about things on the surface. Though is deeply troubled at the center having much anger inside stemming from his jealousy of others. For they have what he never knew, and that's the feeling of having some sort of a parent child bond. Saren often doesn't think before acting, especially when it comes to protecting someone.

History: Saren grew up alone for the most part his mother died giving birth to him, and his father was never around. The only presence Saren ever felt that he even had a father was when it came down to paying bills, and his school tuition. At the age of 14 he met his cousin Jason for the first time. Though he didn't really get to interact with him all that often, due to the fact that they lived so far apart. Though now Saren makes it a point to visit Jason taking him places on his motorcycle. When he felt the gem calling out to hi, Saren was visiting the museum in a tour group of his own, as he actually enjoys visiting every year.

Appearance:

Personality: Always calm, except for when he's not. Very observant, Thomas is always taking in information about his surroundings and the people around him. He's a good judge of character, although he has trust issues, and can read most people like a book. He has a real knack for pissing people off and tends to go overboard when he sets his mind to something. Doesn't play well with others, especially if they remind him of himself.

History: Thomas had a fairly average childhood. His father was a laborer and his mother had a good job, so most looking in would say he led a good life. Not to say that wasn't untrue, but he never saw it that way. He was most always bored. Even when he was doing something "fun" he found it mundane or childish and his mind wandered. It was this that caused his grades to slip and that which caused him to make new friends and that's what caused his problems from there on out. He was always looking for something to do to keep his mind busy and having degenerates for friends often kept his mind very busy. Eventually he tired of constantly being in trouble with people - school, parents, etc. - and found himself a job to keep busy. It wasn't anything special, but it kept him out of trouble and put some money in his pocket. Money that he often used to go to museums and the like. (Thomas is actually an established character/personality. This is the bare minimum without actually going into the story of his life which would make it a long read that none of you are probably interested in.)

Why does palidan mode lose 2 family memberships?

Well its whole make up is changed because if you look closer it loses three Families and an attribute, but gains an family. And the fact it is like a double DNA digivolution digimon (weirdest Digimon in my opinion) But fighter mode has a (free) attribute which might count for something.

What does the free mean anyway?

Free means they aren't apart of a group. I think of the whole attribute thing as a triangle. And a free doesn't fit inside the triangle.

Basically but they are rare digimon usually only babies/fresh are free attributes. Imperialdramon Fighter Mode is a Vaccine first though. ^^'

On the game you can or do the missions I got all kinds of new digimon and have been grinding levels, but lets get back to RP ok? ^^'

(I recommend it threw Aeria though less people and less lag)

And just a thought, why start with mega level weapons why not 'digivolve' our powers?

You will gain another artifact that will more less "digivolve" the powers. But that is later in the plot.
