Finally got my CS finished. Sorry if the history is sloppy, never have been that good at that part.

Here he is

Name: Silas Drake
Age: 19
Gender: Male
SO: Straight

History: While not born on Claw Island, Silas has lived there long enough that he might as well have been. His family moved there from east blue about a year or two after he was born. He never asked them why they did when they told him, as it didn't quite matter to him since he called the island his home. The island's people were very kind to them, helping them build a house and letting them become a part of their community.

So Silas grew up with the other children on the island, playing games, making friends, pulling pranks here and there, going to school, among other things. It wasn't all happy times, though, as his father left to repay a debt he owed to someone, then shortly afterward his mother became ill. These events occurred in the space of a few months, and Silas found himself working to pay for his mother's medication as a blacksmith's apprentice. Then the same year there was troubling and disastrous knew from Fang island, the town had been destroyed by something and that there didn't appear to be any survivors.

The news gave the elderly troubles, but the worst part for everyone was the thought that it could happen to Claw Island next. It never did, though. Still, Silas felt he needed to do more to keep his mother safe and often went into the island's forests to get material for his job. It was during one of these trips that he discovered a strange fruit, it looked like a bundle of grapes aside from the chain-like appearance that connected them. Well, he ate it since his stomach had decided for him. It was shortly afterwards that he discovered what it was and that he had gained a unique power.

A some time later the worst happened, his mother finally succumbed to her illness and passed away. At least, she had died before the fire got to her, he hoped. No one knew what happened to cause it, their house had been discovered engulfed in a giant fireball. The loss hit Silas hard, and he had a dark, brooding aura about him for some time. Now, he's still the apprentice for the local blacksmith and the only person to keep chasing after and attempt to capture the thief that has been taking from the town.

Personality: His appearance leads to many people that don't know him thinking of him as a troublemaker. That is not the case... most of the time. He's often calm and focused on a task, or found doing random things to keep himself busy. He's not one to start a conversation, which makes him a little anti-social in some eyes. And about that troublemaker part, he gets into fights in the defense of others or when drunkards cause trouble. One thing everyone can count on, though, is his chasing the thief whenever they pay a visit to the town.

Other bio (for ex. your goal in life, and also include the info about how your character joined my crew): To become known as one of the greatest smiths in the world and make legendary weapons and armor to keep those close to him safe. Also to start a family of his own at some point.

Crew Position: Smith
Weapons(if any): Pretty much able to use any kind of melee weapon to some degree, but mainly its chains and fists. Always has 6 foot chains wrapped around his forearms.
Devil Fruit(if any): The Chain-Chain Fruit (Chēn-Chēn no Mi)- This fruit grants the ability to manipulate and shape chains that he spawns from his body or comes in contact with.
Abilities: Silas has spent several years of his life making and repairing tool and, in some cases, weapons and armor. He has also been the only one to consistently chase after the thief that occasionally steals from the townsfolk.

Other(if anything): He has a scar over his left cheekbone, as though he was cut there. He won't tell anyone how he got it.

I went with a devil fruit because the power is an idea I've been wanting to try out. And who the hell is Marq?

Oh, sorry. I thought his name was Markus for some reason and I like to use Marq instead of Mark as a nickname. Looking over it again, I realized his name is Silas… which is gonna make his nickname from Vy… Silly. But just so you know. it says Markus in the Abilities section.
