Outside the walls was much different than what Henry had imagined. He would of thought that it would of been filled with death and blood, with no signs of life at all. Yet surprisingly it was rather nice looking. Much more appealing than what was on the inside of the walls anyway. While the inside was safer than the outside for sure. The world outside just felt more free and breath taking despite the Titans that waited outside ready to eat them with no hesitation. Such a world really wasn't befitting for monsters like them. Seeing the outside world only made Henry more certain that the Survey Corps truly was the right choice. If anyone ever wanted to experience this for themselves without the fear of being devoured by the Titans, then the Survey corps were the only ones that could grant such a wish. Seeing that everyone started to speed up, Henry picked up his pace as well, doing his best to keep up with the more experienced riders, as you could tell who had been doing this longer than others. It made Henry think that while death is most likely terrifying, dying in a beautiful place like this may not be so bad. However Henry had no intention of dying to these monsters.

As they rode on they made it to all these giant trees which The commander raised a hand telling to halt so Henry slowed his horse down to a stop and looked at the giant trees standing before him. He heard the commander ask another man to go clear out any Titans they would most likely have trouble with, and no sooner than he had left he was back saying he left two rather big ones, saying something about teamwork which caused a bit of a frown to appear on Henry's face. He really didn't make many friends during his time as a trainee, they all seemed to dislike him or hate him for how he acted. He knew that Tilt and his siblings would be working together and five people on one Titan seems rather excessive. Then there was Eve, who he knew since he was a child, but she might work with Xia and she is one of those that dislike him. So it looks like he was on his own, if he just kept calm and relaxed then he should be able to survive. Plus Henry was one of the best with the 3d gear. Henry could already hear the other recruits making plans to kill some of the bigger ones, while Henry was one of those that kept silent.

So upon hearing they are going off to kill Titans by themselves or with others, with no help from the Veterans themselves unless they were about to die. So upon finishing her speech which one would assume to rile up the trainees so they didn't have as much fear in them, she took off with some of the other veterans and soon followed some of the trainees. Henry pat his horse on his neck and jumped off his horse and easily caught up with the other even surpassing a few of them in speed.

Once the little test had begun Henry landed on a branch and saw the others getting to work with each other to kill the Titans, it was more safe to do it in numbers but Henry had to stick this one out on his own. So looking around he saw a nine meter class Titan all by itself so to prove he was capable on his own he took off shooting his left hook into a trunk of a tree and moved towards the right releasing the hook so he went flying towards the Titan which started to swing but Henry then shot his right hook into the trunk of the tree a few feet to its right and got out of any harms ways by moving more to the right going around the tree, releasing his hook at the same time which made him stay high in the air with a clear shot at its neck so Henry shot both his hooks just above his neck and used his gas to propel him forward where he readied his blade that connected with the intended target. It's neck, with his blade slashing at the flesh causing blood to spray over his uniform, the Titan went limp and fell to the ground dead. Henry instantly hooked his way back up to a branch where he was safe from harm and looked at his kill. His first one. So this is what his parents had done when Henry was a child. Henry looked around for any other Titans that was alone that he could kill without the need for help.

With the engagement underway, Alexanders face seemed to take a more serious tone that he usually looked. His smile seemed to look a little more sinister and serious tone to it. He leaped off his horse and zipped through the tree's, pulling out his blades as his eyes looked around for any titans. With that, he noticed a 7M Titan in front of him. It's hands immediately went in to punch him into a tree, the force of the slamming being quick and powerful. It looked as if he had gotten hit and was among the giant cloud of smoke that erupted from the tree's destruction. From the smoke emerged Alexander, zipping around the Titan, he went in to cut it's neck. In a quick flash, the Titan was down, and it's body began deteriorate in the steam. Unfortunately, Alexander's hook had been on the Titan, which brought him flying down into the ground.

As he stumbled into the ground, he rolled, and slammed into the base of another tree. A loud "Oof!" could be heard from him. After a couple of seconds, he got up, and noticed another 7M Titan heading for him. Coming to his senses, he quickly zipped up into the branches of the tree next to him, barely making it out by the skin of his teeth as the Titan slammed face first into the ground for him. When he got up, he laid down on it and breathed heavily. "That was close..." Silently, but steadily, he began to laugh to himself. "That was so cool!" Turning so that he could sit up and dangle his legs from the branch, he pulled out the book and quill from his bag and drew the Titan, writing info down on it's actions and such. Afterwards, he began to write and sketch the nature around him, like the plants and birds around him. In face, he allowed a bird to sit on his finger, a smile forming on his face as he chuckled at it.

Ryan stuck with his fellow veterans, seeing Adam fly off into the distance to defeat any nearby abnormals. Guess it's time to see these kids fall on their faces before we kill the titans... He sighed slightly before following the other veterans into the trees. As they all got up there and the trainees passed by, going after the titans, he glanced at the other veterans, "I give it about a minute before one of them starts screaming for help, at most... any other guesses?" He crossed his arms as he looked at the recruits, listening to the other veterans as he stood, if any spoke.

Alison smiled slightly as Kevin offered a challenge, when Dante didn't respond, she decided to instead "Well, we're working together, so we'd have to add our kills together, meaning you'd be at a disadvantage." She glanced to Dante, "Unless he's changing tactics this time." He seemed to not hear much going on around him until suddenly, the entire group stopped. She saw him take off with the others and followed after him. Alright, to the fifteen meter class... Whether Kevin's helping or not, we need to kill this thing before it messes with any of the others... As they reached the area, she saw the larger titan, and followed Dante towards it. She stopped near where he did, and saw him fly off to gather some speed. He's gaining speed... So I'll be the distraction! She also began moving away, but much less distance than Dante did, then quickly spun around, going straight towards it. "Hey titan! How are you!?" She shouted as she flew at it. I need to get somewhere it'll have difficulty reaching quickly... She quickly pulled hooked her 3DMG into the ground, then into a tree past the titan, using a little more gas than normal (wasting it) to increase her speed some and hopefully avoid being caught.

U nodded to Alexandria, watching he go after a titan. She waited for a moment, watching her kill the titan before realizing she should also be killing titans. She looked around at the group of people nearby. "Uh... I... Um..." She crossed her arms, pulling herself as small as she could make herself as she looked at the others. "A-Alex..." She almost whispered in Alexandria's direction. "A-attack... the legs... They... have hamstrings like we do, right?" She pointed at the nearest titan, almost frozen by the thought of others seeing her fight the titans.

Arriving back with the group after returning the horse to Alexander, Eve awaited instructions with the other graduates. Her eyes sat along the commander as the woman shouted out their orders, "Alright new recruits, here's the deal! You will be taking the Titans out by yourselves, and with each other. You won't get any help from experienced members or me unless it's absolutely needed, and even still that's not a reason to not give this all you've got! Now straighten up and fly with me!"

As everyone seemed to pair or take off on their own, Eve was left questioning what to do. Catching sight of Henry already taking off into flight Eve pulled the reins of her horse towards the other red head before a familiar shout forced her attention back. "Come at me, Titan! Hiya!" With a group of Titans traveling behind her, Xia headed away from the group and into the forest. Knowing that the other girl was fully capable of taking of herself, Eve couldn't help but grow concerned about the size of the group following behind her. With the snap of the reins, Eve took off behind Xia and the group of Giants. Figures buzzed above her like flies, as Titans came crashing down to the left and right of her. Under the watchful eye of the Veterans and the Commander, the Trainees seemed to be having a hay day, and Eve couldn't wait to be apart of it. Keeping her focus ahead, Eve caught sight of her friend as she made the finishing blow to the remaining Titan. Casting a confused look around, Eve narrowed her eyes as a thought ran through her head, 'Wasn't there two of them?..'

Out of the corner of her eye the red head caught a tall figure looming through the trees and towards Xia. 'A 10 meter' The second Titan that had been trailing behind her had found it's own way through the forest towards Xia. With it's sights set on the other girl, she dug her heel into her horse once again, "Lets go!" Galloping towards the giant, Eve kept a steady pace behind the the beast. As it towered above her, the red head did her best not to catch the Titans attention. The thought of it's focus changing onto her brought hesitation into the girls mind, forcing her to rethink her plan. Tightening her grip along the reins Eve narrowed her eyes as her heart pounded in her chest, 'It's now or never!' Steadying the mare, the girl placed a hand against hide of her horse before pulling her legs up and balancing along the saddle. Keeping her knee's bent and her arms out to steady her as the horse galloped forward, the red head sucked in her breath as she hopped off the animal and fired her grappling hooks into the Titans shoulders.

A loud hiss erupted form her gear as steam poured out and sent her flying. With her blades hanging low, and her red hair trailing behind her like fire, Eve dragged the steel of her swords through the giants nape. Steam, and blood poured from it's wound as it fell with a heavy thud. As her hooks retracted, Eve landed a few feet before Xia as she skidded to a halt. Adrenaline pumped through her veins as a wild look had come into the red heads eyes. Small, excited pants came from the girl as she turned around to look at her fallen prey. Her first Titan, and hopefully not her last. Flashing a grin at the other girl once she turned around, Eve brushed off her shoulders playfully as she walked towards Xia, "Couldn't let have all the fun.~"

"Ooooooraaaa!" Xia zipped by a Titan's head, trying to cut at it's neck. However it had managed to dodge Xia's second attack, but she did not miss entirely. Though she could not cut it's neck, she changed the angle of her blade to cut off it's lower jaw. It roared in pain, almost deafening, but by now she was fairly used to it. She shot her hooks into a tree and took a moment to examine her target. It was another 8m class titan, no more a threat than the last one. Glancing at her blade, she noticed that she had already lost half of it. "Tch. No good." Ejecting and drawing a fresh blade, Xia had to think of a different way to take out this titan. It's jaw was already regenerating, and was looking for Xia. She just wanted to get to it's neck and slice it, but she knew it wasn't that simple. Never is.

As Xia was trying to think of a battle strategy she heard someone land next to her. Eve arrived, and by the look on her face and the blood on her blade, she just killed her first titan. "Nice job." Xia gave the girl a congratulatory smile and a thumbs up (Or as well of one she could give while holding her weapon), but soon it turned back to a neutral frown as the titan she was hunting down recovered. "Stay focused Eve. Don't lose sight of the goal; we didn't come to just kill one titan. We need to kill all of them." The titan began to look around for Xia, but soon began to wander off. She sighed knowing that this titan probably wasn't the smartest of the bunch, but it was fast. Nearly managed to get her, if she wasn't faster. "Let's go after that one... You got any ideas how?" Xia figured that flying by it and slashing it in it's neck would do the job, but that could get her or Eve turned into paste. A new approach was going to be needed.

"Eh, if they know what's good for them, they won't scream," Adam said as he glared downwards at the new recruits fighting. Most people in the Scouting Legion knew he was a harsh person, so whoever heard that would know what he planned to do any of the new recruits screamed. They'd wish they'd become Titan spew after going through with his training, he crossed his arms looking around, he then pointed towards those fighting the fifteen meter, "Look good for you Ryan?" he asked before crossing his arm with the other. He looked at Alannah who had a small smile, probably impressed that they were doing so well. He looked towards where she was, that Xia girl, she was pretty good he had to admit. Not the type of person he really wanted to train though, that was for Otto, he needed people he could toughen up.....Or break down, for the better atleast. He kept looking, he noticed that Anya girl who froze when the Titan came at her, she needed toughening up. She disgusted him, angered him, he needed to show her what it took to be in the Scouting Legion. "One," he mumbled.

"A-Alex..." Alexandria heard U whisper causing her to look over to U as she spoke, "A-attack... the legs... They... have hamstrings like we do, right?" Alexandria shrugged and ran towards the Titan coming towards them, once she got close to the feet she jumped and shot her hooks into the ground. Using extra gas, she used that to zip around to the back of the legs in which she zipped past but cut causing it to drop to it's hands and knees in front of U. She hooked onto a branch to swing back around but due to her still using gas she was sent flying into the air, past the veterans. Looking down, she saw everyone fighting, even the veterans on trees. Dammit! Well, I could probably pull this off! She thought, as the whole time she kept her stern look. She used more gas to come flying down towards the Titan, hooks attached to it's shoulders and blades back ready to strike, she came down fast. At the last minute, as she got towards the nape of the neck, the Titan's head turned around to see her and then striked onto it's neck with the palm of it's hand sending blood flying high up to the point the Veterans saw it. The Titan had dropped, face in the dirt, but Alexandria didn't come out for a while. The Titan hand moved a bit, which was Alexandria. She lifted it up off of her, crouching a bit, she managed to push it onto the ground. Dropping to her knees she didn't know she had that strength in her....Well, she did, but that was a different part of her....Standing up she stood on the Titan's head looking down at U, "You ok U?" she asked as she gave her own little wince but didn't show what was wrong. She wasn't going to say that kill was purely skill, because most of it was just luck.

"I honestly thought we had our first death," Adam said as he watched what Alexandria did, "Would have been tragic....Considering it's supposed to be a no casualty mission and all." Alannah just glanced at him before looking back down at the new recruits. That was some move Alexandria pulled off, allot of the new recruits were actually pretty skilled, and with training they'd become better. She had hope for the future.

Kaiz fired his hooks, they caught on a branch high above and he fired his gas gaining speed, he slashed with his swords and they came away bloody, he regained altitude and resumed circling, watching for an opportunity as the other's fought. A titan turned as another trainee went to attack it, leaving it's neck exposed to Kaiz, he fired his gas again and swung in...

Over looking everyone working together to take down the titans, Henry saw a few friendly faces working with a few not so friendly faces. Oh well its not like he could complain. He knew that he would be going into this alone, it's why he trained so hard when he was a trainee, so he could perfect what those would say him being cocky, and he would agree with this, he took satisfaction that he was good. So out of the corner of his eye, he spotted an eleven meter class Titan all alone. Henry smiled as he jumped off the branch he was one he hooked his left hook into a tree and spun around it flying past the titan that swung at him to late As Henry shot both his hook into his back and used his gas to propel forward cutting it's nape sending the bulky creature to the ground. Once he changed his blades Henry saw another titan coming up behind him, this one was shorter. it was a 7 meter class at most. So when it got ready to swing, Henry hooked on to the side of it arm spinning around the right of its body before hooking onto its shoulder which Henry Propelled forward and positioned his blades that he slid across its back with his blades cutting the nape. Henry then hooked himself back onto a branch and smiled. He just killed three titans all by himself. He might have been cocky but he most certainly proved why he was.

Tilt had messed up his attack, at the last moment the titan had noticed him and turned stopping his blade from slashing deep enough, the titan stumbled onward right at Anya!
Arya was coming back after she'd slashed it's eyes like the first titan they'd faced but she'd misjudged and was coming in too low.
Anya, standing on the ground in the titans path had to act, she faced the titan and fired her hooks, they landed one in each leg of the titan, She fired gas recklessly, the titans hands swung by barley missing her, flying mere meters above the ground she released the hooks, flew through the titans legs and slashed. She lost one sword as she spun through, she landed in a roll and then was up and running firing her hooks into the trees, there was a crash as the titan fell to it's knee and then a louder crash as Arya cut it's neck sending it face first into the ground.

Finished with all of his drawings and information, Alexander stood up on his branch. "Alright...let's do these!" He grinned, stepping off of the branch to free fall as he caught himself midair with his 3D Maneuver Gear as he went flying in. The Titan below him that was at the bottom of the tree, however, it turned around to smack him "S-Shit!" He began to zip around the corners of tree's, trying to lose it, but his balance was a bit off. When the 10M Titan attempted to grab him, he quickly went flying up a tree and released himself so he would go backwards. The minute he began to fall, he closed the distance from behind in order to slice the Titans neck. Unfortunately, he was unable to cut deep enough, and was forced to go back to cat and mouse.

Zipping again, he hid above a tree, and watched the Titan search around for him. His breathing was getting faster, his hands were shaking, and his eyes were wide with shock and fear. Then he remembered....he controlled his breathing, steadied his hands, and watched the Titan carefully. Throwing a stick to avert it's attention, he dropped down and connected the hooks to it's shoulders. Then, he used his gas to maximum power, his velocity began to skyrocket towards the Titan, and he let out a loud battlecry as his blades cut deeply into the Titan. He fell forward along with the carcass of the Titan, but was able to jump off in the nick of time to land onto the ground, though he rolled a bit. "...Gotcha..." His breathing was heavy again as he stood up and stared at his broken blades. "Damn it..." With that, he maneuvered up towards Commander Allanah and Adam. He was still shaken up as he saluted to them both. "Two kills....I-I...didn't think I was going to make it." His voice was cracking a bit, but his eyes looked as if they were fierce with battle, as if he wanted to go back down to kill more.

Taking it's speed into account Eve eyed the giants legs as it jogged through the tree's. Staying out of arms reach from the giant, the red head sorted through thoughts in her mind as she tried to think of a plan. It would be too dangerous to rush the Titan, even dull titans were unpredictable, and with the veterans watching over them Eve didn't want to mess up or have one of them killed on their first day. Still, this was a good time to show off their skills to the soldiers, and the commanders. Wanting to be smart about this, Eve casted a quick glance over to Xia before turning her focus back at the Titan ahead, "We need to take out it's legs!--" Keeping pace with the other girl, the red head explained her fast plan as she tried to build up her own confidence, "I'll cut it down, and once it's on the ground and an easy target for you, take it out!"

Aiming her hooks out once she was sure Xia was ready, Eve took to the right side of the Titan. Staying low to the ground, her grip tightened along her swords as she waited for the right moment to strike. If she wasn't fast enough the red head knew she would get tangled up in the Giants legs. Not wanting to get squashed by the dull beast, the girl focused on her target as she aimed out her gear at a tree further ahead. With a sharp thunk, the wires of her gear tugged at her sides before a sharp hiss rang through the trees. Gathering momentum thanks to her gear, her little form circled the trunk with great speed before she threw herself between the Titans legs. Twisting her body into rotation, Eve dragged her blades through the Titans achilles tendon, successfully severing it and sending the Titan to the floor. Caught up in the speed of her attack, Eve gave grunt as she failed to slow down and tuck and rolled onto the ground harshly. Forcing herself up as she laid on her side, Eve shouted up at the other girl as the Titan began to regenerate it's leg, "Now Xia!"

Xia and Even flew towards the Titan. Even made a quick plan with Xia, though as far as she cared it basically boiled down to "Eve would make sure the titan doesn't fight back" and Xia could do her thing. Eve shot between the titan's legs, causing it to fall to it's knees and hands. "Now!" Xia had taken the high ground and dropped. She kept falling lower and lower to the ground until she was almost onto the same level as the titan. Than she shot her hooks towards a tree in front of her, pulling her along towards the fallen monster. The beast was just about to get up when Xia flipped her own body upside down mid-flight, and brought both her blades to slash the back of the titan's neck. When she hit the tree her hooks were shot into, she turned back to see the titan fall back onto the floor in a slump. Xia dropped down next to Eve, bringing her fist up for a bump from Eve. "Good job."

Adam and Alannah were both watching Alexander, Adam had his blades out just in case. The close times Alexander got too close to being hit or grabbed, Adam prepared to make a save until he got away from it. Once Alexander killed the Titan Adam put his blades away and stood up straight. Coming up them, Alexander saluted and spoke, "Two kills....I-I...didn't think I was going to make it." "Isn't that what we all think kid?" Adam spoke, crossing his arms. His glare from Alannah made him turn away from the two. Alannah looked down at Alexander, eyes softening as she crouched to his level, "You were going to make it, because you're strong Alex. Plus we had Adam ready to save you if it were needed, just trust in us and your own ability alright? Now, do you think you can kill more or do you think you're done for right? If so, you can stay up here with me," she gave him a soft smile afterwards.

While Adam's words were a little harsh, but true, Alannah's were soft and reassuring. He looked at his Commander and stared at her for a couple seconds, not sure on what to say. He then smiled, pulled his blades out, and saluted her again. "I can keep going, ma'am." The thing about Alex was that whenever he lose his morale to go on, a few kind words was all it took to push him again. He let himself fall backwards off the branch and continued to move around with his 3D Maneuver Gear, reapplying his assault on the Titans. Secretly he had hoped that she would not cut him from the Scouting Legion.

Ryan frowned as he looked at the two trainees fighting the titan. He frowned at them, but sighed. "Yeah yeah, I guess I can take those dead weights... At least they know how to keep each other alive instead of me having to..." He shrugged as he glanced to Adam. "Still need a third though... Guess I can ask who they'd prefer..." He crouched down on the branch, looking at the trainees as they fought.

U's eyes widened as Alexandria began fighting another titan. I can't let her fight for both of us... She watched as Alexandria killed the titan, surprised by the lucky kill, but then nodded. and looked around. She saw a titan nearby, and glanced at the ground, uncrossing her arms. "I-I'll get this one..." She unsheathed her swords, and hooked onto a tree, beginning to build up her speed. She hooked onto another tree nearby, flying towards the titan, it's hand moved up towards her, and she hooked the ground behind it, avoiding the hand just as it flew past her. She hooked onto the backs of its knees, flying by as she put her swords out to cut the hamstrings. As she passed, she released the hooks, spinning over so her stomach would be to the ground. She pushed off the ground, seeing the titan fall to its knees for now, seeing as the titan had taken injuries to the hamstrings. She then hooked onto the head, jumping slightly and using gas to go upwards, pivoting over the head to cut the nape of the neck, then releasing the hooks. As her body hit the neck, she kicked off, hooking the titan's back for a moment to slow herself down to avoid any injury then looked in Alex's direction. "D-did I... do well...?"

After the last Titan fell, Alannah looked throughout the new recruits and nodded, taking note of their skills. Their strengths and weaknesses, she caught most of them. Jumping to the ground with the help of her 3D Gear, the rest of the soldiers followed her down in unison. "Well, how about that!" She called out loudly, "A successful mission with no causalities, I would like to move forward but the lot of you look a little tired....Plus we can't get anywhere with Titan carcasses lying around, so we're calling it a day! Get on your horses and follow suit men!"

And with that Alannah hopped onto her horse alongside Adam and awaited the new recruits before riding back towards the wall. "Hm, too much work," Dante said as he rode alongside Alison. He knew things wouldn't go as smoothly as that did, and knew he'd have to put in much more work than that in the future missions, something he wasn't really looking forward to. He was satisfied with the victory, but not like the others who thought of it as a way to get stronger, or thought it was one step closer to saving humanity. He was just glad it ended faster than he thought, so he could go relax, and that there were no deaths so he didn't have to deal with mourning. It made him seem bad, but oh well, it was better than not caring at all. "Might just fall asleep on this horse," he mumbled.

"You did good," Alexandria said to U as they rode off alongside each other. Alexandria kept the stern look on her face and didn't bother looking at anyone else except for those directly in front of her, everyone else wasn't worth looking down on, so she never bothered to.

As they headed back inside the walls, they went to their HQ with a couple other soldiers taking the horses away. Once inside Alannah led the new recruits to a cafeteria, "I would like you all to wait in here, you will all be fed and then shown to your living quarters. Ten minutes went by with the new recruits chatting among each other. Dante sat beside Alison with a small group of other people, Alexandria sat beside U not paying any mind to anyone else. "You not hurt or anything right?" Dante asked Alison before a couple servants walked in placing trays of food beside every new recruit there. Bread, cooked ham, eggs, and a cup of tea with a few utensils. Dante simply sipped his tea and looked around, his eyes laid on Kevin who he figured would have everything down in one second flat, his eyes widened with a little interest which was rare to see from him. He won't do it, Dante thought and knew.

"Look at them, smiling and being happy about this," Alexandria huffed as she sipped her tea, "All are disgusting.....I'm gonna go see Levitt after all this." She began eating slowly, giving everyone death glares unintentionally, but it was the way she always looked at people. No one should take it personal, except Dante really, she hated that kid the most. And that Henry kid, she glared at him, he had nice hair and ok eyes. A pretty boy, that's really all he had going for him and that wasn't much, she wanted to smack off the smug look he always had. She then noticed she was stabbing her half eaten ham which made her stop and sit her knife down, licking her lips her eyes trailed over to that Kurisa kid. He was alright, he was cute too, she thought of him as a teddy bear. He was low on her list, drinking the rest of her beverage she stood up and walked out.

Sitting at her desk, Alannah sorted through her files and pictures of the new recruits trying to figure out the Squads. Scratching her hair she took a breath and began sorting the pictures, "Here goes," she said. She pushed three photos towards Otto, "Squad Otto: Xia, Eve, and Alexandria." Xia and Eve seemed to work well together, and Alexandria seemed to take on the same amount of skill as them both. Plus they all carried somewhat of a serious attitude. Perfect for Otto she thought.

She pushed three towards Ryan, "Kevin, Alison, and Dante." They showed great amounts of teamwork as they were able to take down the tallest and deadliest Titan together, something she doubted the others could do with just random people or by themselves. Ryan wanted people who could protect each other, it's what he was getting.

Three towards Adam, "Henry, Anya, and Alexander." His specialty was toughening people up and keeping them focused, and making them stronger. Alexander was too easily distracted with his book, evidence by falling off his horse and almost being killed by a Titan because he was too busy drawing. Anya need toughening, she was too timid and hesitant, she hoped Adam would go easy on her. Henry showed potential, but could have been better.

Three towards Ray, "Terran, Ren, and U." Ray wanted serious people too, which the team brought despite U being timid. She would have put Alexandria and U together, but they wouldn't belong together in any of the Squads. She thought Ray could bring out their teamwork more, and make U less timid. She took another breath and stood up, the rest of the new recruits could probably go with her if she wasn't too busy, or she could pass them off to another veteran. She'd announce everything the next day, for now she wanted everyone to rest. Walking back to the cafeteria she stood at the doorway watching the new recruits, looking a bit tired and worn out, which she was. She was used to it though, and could handle it.

After the return to the Walls, Alexander awaited to see who he was assigned to. He sat alone, ate alone, and wrote in his book alone. Inside the pages were, surprisingly, extremely accurate drawings on Titans, plants, animals, locations, everything to do with the outside world. A smile formed on his face after he had gotten done with the finishing touches of a Blue Jay drawing. From one of the pages was a hidden feather from a Blue Jay, in fact...and he stared at it. As if he was longing for something, like a dream that was just barely in his grasp. He began to ignore the outside world and stare at nothing but the feather, his voice began to choke up, and his eyes were a little watered.

As they were returning Henry was satisfied and exhausted. He had proved he didn't need any help to kill a Titan, and he showed it with what most would call a cocky grin on his face. So while on the way back he simply let his horse move with the other horses pace as he relax and observed the outside world. After arriving back in the walls they made it to the HQ where a couple people started to take the others away, so Henry got off his horse and promised to use him again, before being led to the Cafeteria where the commander said they would be fed and led to their living quarters so they can chat in their meantime. Henry however went right to eating his eggs, catching a glare from Alexandria which made him swallow his food and grin at her as he waved. He really hoped she would take that as an insult as he took a sip of his Tea, before going back to his food.

Ryan dropped down from the tree as well, glancing around at the groups. He instantly began calling his horse, getting it to come to him and then getting on it. As soon as everyone else was also on their horses, he took off. I didn't even get to do anything... He sighed slightly to himself as he rode, making sure to stick with the other veterans. They were the only ones he knew for sure he could trust to not accidentally knock his horse over. After they made it back inside the walls, he made sure to take a bite to eat in with him to wait for his group. The food may or may not have been taken without permission, but whatever, he ate as he sat there with other veterans. "At least no one died, I guess... even if they took forever to kill all those titans..." Shortly after Alannah placed pictures out for who was getting what three recruits. "These guys took down the biggest, right?" He spoke with his mouth mostly full, "Great, I don't have to bother paying attention to them in a real fight."

Alison got on her horse, sticking with Dante, and hopefully Kevin as well, considering those were the two she knew. She glanced to Dante as he said something about work and smiled slightly, "At least that's a couple less titans than we have to kill ever again. Meaning that's some work we never have to do again." After returning to the interior of the walls, she sat at a table, chatting a little with some of the other new members of the Survey Corps. Dante asked her if she was hurt and she turned her head to him, "No, I'm fine, what about you? You were the one closest to its face..." As the servants entered with their food, she thanked the one placing her food and then began eating slowly so she would be able to respond without pause.

U sheathed her blades, crossing her arms as the veterans dropped from the trees. She walked closer to Alexandria, listening to the veterans, she nodded slightly to herself, wishing she had done more to help. As they got on the horses, she glanced to Alexandria, listening to her say that she had done good. "Thanks... You did better than I did though, Alex..." She smiled slightly to her before looking down. Once everyone was safely within the walls once again, she sat down with Alex, as usual attempting to be as unnoticeable as possible. She noticed Alexandria getting worked up about something, stabbing her meat, and then suddenly stopping. "We both should, right? M-make sure to tell me when you're back..."

There wasn't much talk around the table as the four of them ate, the clicking of forks on plates and cups being set down dominating the table, that is until Kaiz leant back and let out a huge belch.
Tilt spat water across the table as he burst out laughing and Anya knocked her plate off the table as she jumped in shock, causing Tilt to laugh harder.
Once things had calmed down and they'd cleaned up the table a bit they got to talking, Kaiz boasting about how many Titans he'd killed, Tilt wondered if Kaiz had really killed any and Anya could talk of nothing but her horse...

She looked up, they'd stopped talking and were looking at her questioningly. Anya was the first to speak."
"You okay sis?"
Arya wondered what she meant, then she noticed the knife she was clenching tightly in her hand stabbing her food over and over. She dropped the knife and sat back, after a moments contemplation she sighed deeply and looked up.
"fine, I'm fine, just a bit... I don't know... nervous? anxious?"
Surprisingly it was Kaiz who responded, nodding sagely.
"yeah, I get that too, I think everyone does, I mean when you think how close we were to being Titan chow..." He paused as he shovelled a huge mouthful into his mouth.
Tilt and Anya shared a glance and then each gave their respective seating partner a shove.
"and I thought you two were the bravest of us!"
Kaiz shot back with
"don't think I didn't see you hiding behind the twins Tilt!"

The group fell back into their usual habits, joking and mocking each other, the tension of the battle slowly leaving them as they relaxed.
