I know you say that this will be an original FF universe, but the aesthetic can vary pretty wildly between each game. Have you drawn inspiration from any particular Final Fantasy games? More to the point, is it going to lean more toward the magi side or the tech side of the magitech scale?

He is a diligent personality, never one to complain to anyone.

As bad as his life gets him down, he never gives up, plodding along to do what he can one day at a time.

He has no spouse or children for a reason, he knows this life he has is no place to ever try and bring up a family so he avoids the attachments altogether.

History:
Born on the streets, he wasn't even an orphan, just a street rat who fought to survive by pummeling rats to death with his fists. Not much to be said about the man, he works like a horse every day in the bowls of the industrial areas and collapses onto a pile of rags to sleep at night in a hovel barely bigger than a closet. When he has any free time he will put his face on the line for any manner of arena fight to pull some extra money together. He was born and raised to die in the bottom of the slums by falling in a fight or until the day his body gives out.

Like his weapons depend on the setting. It could be like an little alchemical device that fires tiny needles that explode on contact or something.
By the time magic becomes available, it's more obvious.

Personality: Rena loves to help others. She's sweet, kind, caring, and more than a little bit naive. She is often outspoken, but will put her foot down if she doesn't like the was events are preceding. Though gentle, she is also a strong person, and brave.
History: Born and raised in Alpha, she was taught by her father how to shoot a crossbow. Her mom died when she was very young. her dad was all she really had, so it was hard when he expressed his with for her to leave, start her own story and live her own life. Though he did have a point; It will be an adventure.

Personality: Ruthless and calculating, Sara favours a direct approach to her problems and doesn't let insults slide. If you cross her, you will know about it. This hard exterior is difficult to break, and it might seem to some that she is indeed impossible to stop once she is determined, but her anger can turn into impatience and fault if it accumulates. While she can be ferocious when angry, she can also be more predictable and rash. Her patience varies, so whether it becomes a weakness can depend on the context. She tends to stick with her principles over a greater plan if they were to clash. Being used to treating others with sterness has made it difficult for her to relax around most people and take in good humour, however this doesn't stop her developing emotional attachment.

History: Sara is a strong woman raised amongst a middle class soldier family in Alpha. She had developed a strong belief of protecting the commons and bringing justice to those that would abuse their power and shirk their responsibilities. Such beliefs made her well suited for the vocation of a policewoman. A commanding presence and a no-nonsense attitude brought her to various areas of work trying to keep the parts of Gamma district safe. A job impossible to fathom by any one person, but improbable to succeed without her. Her skill with her weapon of choice has given her the title of 'Moon Lady' amongst the Gamma district, though this title carries more fear than admiration behind it. Other, more profane variants of her title are more common with the criminals of the district.
