The guard lead Nate through the prison. He led her through several empty halls before opening the door to the exam room. "Put the gown on. The doc should be right in."

A middle aged man enters the room. He is shirt standing only about 5'0. But everything about him shouted power and authority. He had shirt black hair streaked with gray and grey eye. "Name and power please."

"Natalie Kara I'm commonly called Nate. I can control fire and can also summon it at my will." Nate said sleepily but she was partially awake now

The doctor nodded and made a note on the file in his hand. "I am going to give you a routine physical and draw some blood. Is there any health issues that needed to be noted in your file?"

"Despite my powers I'm very sensitive to cold and heat." Nate said

The doctor tilted his head thoughtfully. There were many reasons this could be an issue. With the ability to control fire she shouldn't have this issue. The doctor took her temperature, weight, and blood pressure. "Do you have a problem with needles?"

Nate shrugged. "Don't know. My parents avoided hospitals like the plague was there. Which in a case it was...technically..."

The doctor nodded but he didn't like her answer. He was a man who preferred fact and this patient seemed to have very little information to help him do his job. He cleaned the site he had chosen to draw the blood from. He jabbed the needle in and began filling tubes with her blood.

Nate barely even noticed the needle enter her skin. She only noticed it when she glanced down at her arm to see the needle and blood. Her eyes automatically darted up. She hated the sight of blood but wouldn't let her fear control her at this point in time.

"That will do." The doctor said paring her arm. "You may return to your cell and have the guards bring someone else please."

"Thank you." Nate said grabbing her clothes and quickly running to her cell. As she ran into her cell she signaled a guard to send someone else as she ran into a dark corner and changed.

Endelia looked daggers at the man in the cell across from her. "If and when I get out of here, you are the first on my kill list." She lashed her tail, irritated.

"Ohh I always loved skinning a cat. Your pelts going to look amazing on my wall toots." Barbas said with a harsh laugh. He noticed the girl rushing back to her cell and let out a whistle. "There everybody is what we call the walk of shame."

"I suppose I'll go." Adrian said. After all, they were the ones that complained about the doctor being late.

"Follow me then." The guard said as he opened Adrian's cell

Adrian walked out, glancing at some of the other inmates as they followed the guard.

The guard lead him down the halls. They past many empty cells. Finally the guard opened the door to the medbay. "Out a gown on."
