You know that because of the last post all the team members would end up in the kitchen regardless of what was going on. So my post will technically be continuing with a few changes to avoid some of the confusion of a post or two which was posted.

Name: Rachel Black
Alias: Shadow

Skills

- Proficient in use of most blades
- Excellent Marksman
- Trained in several forms of hand to hand combat
- Trained in subterfuge and infiltration tactics
- Rudimentary knowledge of interrogation techniques
- Basic field first aid common to many military organisations

Abilities

- Superhuman Strength and Agility
- Superhuman Sight and Hearing

Weaknesses

- Trust Issues/Social Anxiety
- Prone to violence when triggered

Equipment

- A pair of energy blades. Length and size vary according to setting, as does lethality. Lowest Setting is a stun, highest slices through steel with ease.

- Stealth Suit: Created for ease of movement and designed to so she can hide in dark corners and blend in almost perfectly to human vision.

- Dual pistols. Silenced. Range of high tech ammunition for different purposes.

Personality

Rachel is an introvert and distrustful of people in general. She speaks rarely and sparingly to those around her, and seldom offers her opinion unless it's to correct glaring errors in judgment. It gives people the impression she is condescending though she is far from it.

She is an avid reader and keeps a personal library of favourite books and authors. She has a liking for cute things like stuffed animals and puppies though she had precious few of such possessions and would never admit it. Literal warning shots are fired at whosoever confronts her about it.

History

Rachel Black was born to a family of mercenaries who were notorious for aiding in the civil wars and fighting of the African warlords. As such, she was raised to fight and kill at a young age, against men twice her size at least. Failure was met with painful disciplinary trainings. She served as an intelligence and wet work operative, silencing men in their sleep and using her age to get where others couldn't. Thus the nickname was given to her - Shadow.

Her family and mercenary group was ultimately betrayed by their employer, fearing they would turn on him, and walked into an ambush as they were caught between members of the Justice League who had come to stop them and their supposed allies who were behind them. Rachel was the only survivor and taking pity on her and desiring to give her a second chance, was taken under Artemis' wing and trained to be a hero instead of just an assassin or gun-for-hire.

Fearing her reception to the team would be less than welcome, Rachel's past was kept a secret from the rest of the Young Justice.

Made the changes :) Changed her history a bit as well.

I had my character walk away completely while he was ignored... Thought I could get away with it since nobody noticed his existence anyways. lol xD

Hey.. I try to notice everyone, but I can only do so much. Also at the point in which you'd posted I posted so I never really saw your post... Same thing happened with matt. I just figured I would do something to get you two back in the loop properly. I tried to beach party, the introductions started and ow it'll have to be the food. And the little job{Not a covert mission just standard hero shtuff.} that me and Cart be cookin up :P

Drakel being that you already have the first post for the IC... Just add the quoted posts in. I was going to but I'm just exhausted. And I figured even if all characters don't necessarily want to be in the kitchen they might as well because I'm thinking of cutting the meal short and sending us into our first job as a solo hero team. lol
And I'm pretty sure not everyone has introduced themselves which isn't good for a team DX

Also Drakel... Sorry for saying I would do it and then not doing it... I'm just not used to being back in school and commuting now. Once I'm in the swing of things I'll do much better. Like Demon 2.0! lol

All you really need to read is the top of the three IC posts I made... (only the GM posts) and you should get a very clear picture of what is happening... If you don't want to be part of the initial team however your character does follow some characteristics that can be used with Stryder's arachnid character on the outside. It's your choice overall though... Stryder is cool with it as well.
