Honest opinion: How is my post length and quality? CC wanted/welcome.
Too late, you're going to be criticized >:) . I don't have any Canadian Club on me, but I'll say that your posts haven't been too bad as far as I've seen.
It's a little difficult to recommend things for you to do because most of what I can think of might conflict with what you had in mind for your character. So, yeah, let me know if I'm saying something wrong. I'll just stick to a couple of small tips.
I understand it might just be part of your character's personality, but Laecora's come off as very calm despite the weird circumstances that our characters have been thrown into. It might just be your character being quiet in the first place though. If you would like a little extra substance, try getting her to try some more subtle body language. Facial expressions, shifts in stance, eyes, mouth, hands, that kind of thing. Try throwing in a splash of detail in how your character's tone of voice is as well. It'll help to understand what your character is thinking and feeling without an internal monologue, (though those aren't bad either). If you're unsure, put yourself in her shoes and think of how you would move and talk, then try to get into your character's mindset think of what she would do.
Honestly, I don't think you need to worry about your post length. Most of the detail you've given has been on par with everyone else, and I've not felt that any of your posts were too dense either. You might get away with a leetle more in the way of your character's reaction to certain things, but other than that, it's fine. To most people, the amount of detail in a post is down to personal preference anyway.
Closing statement: Good jorb.
(Just tell me if I write something silly or if I'm using commas too much and we'll call it even.)
EDIT: It looks like I've been ninja'd by BlazeGamma. His post is on the previous page if anyone missed it.
