Clearview Bay University

The University:

CBU is an upstanding university in the middle of Clearview Bay. Its sole purpose is to better the lives of the students that walk its dorms and halls everyday. It has recently undergone new renovations in the form of new staff ( Dean Harris, Dr. Ekman and Dr. Wade ) and an all new block for Psychology and Neurology. Its campus is spacious and high tech and welcomes students from all walks of life to bask in its glorious glow...



The Students:

The students are the best of the best, whether they be an up and coming Astrophysicist or a rising star at Football, these students come from some of the most powerful and rich families in the country and have been educated at the top schools in the country. They are prone to mischief and are often caught blowing the roof of with outrageous parties!

Social Groups:
Jocks: The top of the top sportsmans, rich, good looking and damn right jerks! They hold a high status in the University and often hand around on the Football Field



Geeks: The Geeks are an elite club of those who value all things fiction, from Star Wars to LOTR, they bask in the glory of the Universities comic store and media clubs



The Rich Kids: The snobbiest of them all, they want, need and have everything at their disposal. Private Helicoptors and pre-paid Doctorate's; you already hate them...



The Inbetweeners: They're neither here nor there! They're typical teenagers, they party and fight a lot. The biggest group of misfits there is, they don't fit anywhere so they just slump in between!

Name: Thalia Jager

Age: 17

Appearance: Raven black, sleek hair. She's short, at around 5'4 but prides herself on staying fit. She plays soccer at the school so she's nowhere near being heavy. She has bright blue eyes and a few tattoos. She is, in fact, obsessed with tattoos and has quite a few. She likes to dress like an average girl, sticking normally to neutral colors and comfy shoes. She does, however, love her combat boots. Along with the tattoos below she also has a tattoo on both of her hipbones of claw marks, filled in with leopard print.

Personality: Thalia picked up a lot of her grandfather's characteristics. He was a carefree, loud and fun man. She turned that around and became a happy, boisterous and friendly girl. Her life consists of family, soccer and tattoos. Ever since her car accident, she's been a little different. She gets angry really easily as well as defensive and often times, when her emotions are on overload, she has trouble controlling her fits of violence.

Bio: Thalia grew up with her grandfather and her older brother, Alex. Her grandfather was always one with jokes and he was constantly riding his motorcycle with all of his friends, leaving Thalia with her brother all the time, who was only eight years her senior. Four years ago, after school, Thalia's brother and grandfather left her with a family friend. She doesn't talk about her time spent with said person, only that she changed after that. One night, when the man was drunk, they were in a car wreck and she was flung from the front seat before the truck wrapped around a tree.

Her brother and his fiancee didn't believe her story, only mourning over the loss of their old friend. According to Alex, her grandfather hadn't planned on coming back from their trip. After being with her brother a short time, she got back into soccer and even went all out, beginning to get tattoos all over the place. Her brother, upon having a baby, kicked her out and she now lives at the university thanks to a generous lump some of inheritance that she found her parents had left her.

Age: 18

Appearance:

Personality: Thomas is outwardly charming and makes an effort to get people under his thum-- Get people to like him. Despite his caring and warm appearance, he is callous and manipulative. His ego is grandiose and justified. Some have called him crazy but he is, despite his flaws, actually full of emotion and life. He is by no means a shell of a human. He is just eccentric. His intellect causes him to become chronically bored and makes him struggle with boring and monotonous' tasks.

Social Group: Inbetweeners but is friends to everyone.

Bio: Thomas grew up in a loving household, his parents occupied minor positions in the British Government and his brother was a teacher. The only downside was his uncle, he would look after young Thomas when his family were away. His uncle was a drunk and a bastard, he beat Thomas a few times but nothing too severe, because of this Thomas ran away from homes in his early teens and struggled with social problems.

He developed a callous disregard for others and a shocking lack of remorse and trust issues at the age of 16. He enrolled at CBU and had to learn to be more socially involved, he became charming and kind and quickly befriended everyone. Studying Psychology helped him to understand the people around him and even himself, he uses this to his advantage and has successfully crafted a positive reputation for himself. He is still haunted by the memory of the abuse but he doesn't let it affect his work.

Name: Ava Sollard.

Age: 18.

Appearance:
Long strawberry-blonde hair with light blonde highlights. She stands at about 5'7" and tends to be on the slim side. Her hazel eyes look on behind thick rimmed glasses, and one is usually shielded by her thick bangs. The normal look for her is dark wash jeans with oversized shirts and/or jackets. Greys and blues are her main color, other colors are mostly shown through her wide collection of converse. Unlike other wealthy students, she obviously doesn't go overboard on her clothing.

Personality: Many would call Ava a "nerd" or a "bookworm" or even "antisocial", but the proper term is "introverted". She's very quiet and barely speaks unless spoken to. Although if you get under that silent exterior, she can actually be quite fun to be around. Like her parents, she can be extremely manipulative and aggressive at times, and will stop at nothing to get revenge on whoever hurts her or someone she loves. If you succeed in becoming her friend, she's loyal, honest, and kind.

Bio: Ava comes from a very wealthy family. Her parents run a large publishing business together and considered her their successor. Although she got many material gifts and money from her mother and father, she never got the one thing she truly wanted, their affection. With them always away on trips and meetings, she rarely got to even see them, and soon grew distant from them. The day before her seventeenth birthday, her parents divorced leaving her torn for whom to stay with. With no other choice easily available, she was brought to the University.

Appearance: Stands at 6 foot 4 inches, with a strong build. He prefers to wear casual clothes and light jackets, with dulled down colors.
Personality: Lucas is a strange kid, preferring to spend his time reading ancient and occult books rather than go out and talk to people. He doesn't make friends easily, nor talk to people easily. However, when it comes to the few topics he's interested in, Lucas can hold a conversation. Loves fighting, though won't usually go out looking for one. He's embarrassed by it so he doesn't really tell anyone, but he writes free verse.

Bio: Born the third youngest of 8 other brothers, Lucas was raised on a ranch estate in Scotland, moving with his family to America when he was fourteen. Because of his brothers, he learned to fight early and doesn't mind getting in one. Went to Catholic schools for all his schooling, until now. Because of this he speaks Latin, but doesn't show off. While he does enjoy the major he's going for, it wasn't his choice to go for it but his father's. One day he hopes to simply go back to Scotland without a trace, working on a rail line not too far from his hometown. In somewhat of a competition to inherit the estate from his parents.

Appearance:
His wardrobe mainly consists of any kind of shirt he can find in his closet, jeans, and a brown leather jacket he wears almost all the time.

Personality: There's a reason people call him 'Fox'. Sly, sneaky, and swift, he's been known to be quite the smuggler and seller of booze and drugs. Despite this, he has surprisingly never drank nor smoked. He's an excellent liar and uses this talent to slip away from often sticky situations.
Fox isn't exactly the most welcoming guy. He's rude and distrustful the first time you meet him, but he's actually pretty nice and generous once you get to know him. ...Erm, sort of.
He's ambitious and prideful when it comes to art and sports,especially track, and will take up almost any challenge, no matter how ridiculous.

Bio: Fox lived a sheltered life. His parents often kept him in his room, forcing the boy to study. Because of this, he seldom made friends and mainly kept to himself. He would spend his time just drawing or playing sports.
Over the years, Fox grew more and more rebellious. He would sneak out constantly, cause trouble, and was eventually held back a grade due to troubles in school. After getting into a harsh fight with his parents, Fox was kicked out at age eighteen. Luckily, a generous aunt of his lived close by. Fox spent a year with her focusing on sports and art before enrolling into CBU.

Personality: Spencer is a sweet girl and a very kind girl. She likes to keep things to herself, but sometimes she just wants to let it out. At times Spencer can be a little cocky and she could TRY to be funny when she really isn't. She mixes her intelligence with funny, always making smart jokes, but people either stare at her blankly or ignore her. Spencer is an outspoken girl, she isn't shy or anything but sometimes she likes to just keep things to herself, so she won't hurt that person. Spencer is REALLY good at keeping secrets, especially because she has her own secrets. She always say that, secrets make friends but it wasn't really true. In order to make a friend it has to be from the heart. Spencer is a brave girl, and she will try anything new, if she likes it, she will do it again but if she don't she doesn't even want to go there. Other then that, Spencer is respectful and she will always be there for her friends, she is also a very generous girl and loves to have fun and be herself and she is loyal to others.

Bio: Spencer comes from a medium class family, they weren't rich nor they were poor. Well, her grandmother was very rich but her mother never accepted her grandmother's money. But, this time they needed the money for Spencer's school. Spencer is the smartest girl in her family, some people even call her 'nerdgerd' or 'bookworm', she didn't really mind those words because, words doesn't hurt her but it is like a compliment, mainly because they are calling her a smart girl. And now, Spencer was brought into the Clearview Bay University. She hasn't made no friends atleast not yet. All she wanted to do was graduate and go do her career which was being a lawyer. Why she wants to be a lawyer? Because she never looses a case. Spencer may be quiet and all, but she has her fiesty side and she will argue back and forth with people who bothers her. Plus, she loves to ask a lot of questions. Watch her out!

Medium-Long light golden blonde hair paired with grey-blue stormy eyes, Tris stands at only 5' and is the shortest on her team and weighs only 95 lbs of pure muscle. Her body is an athletic build with the perfect amount of muscles that it is attractive

Name: Beatrice 'Tris' Evans

Age: 18

Personality: Tris is a devoted athlete and if she isn't practicing with her fast pitch softball team she is practicing by herself and if she isn't practicing by herself she is studying. SO obviously she doesn't get out very much. She also is not one to wear provocative clothing or anything other than athletic clothing like tee shirts, shorts, yoga leggings, and tennis shoes. People often need to basically force her to dress semi nice or in actual party clothing. Alongside that since she has always been playing sports she never has dated anyone so she is completely innocent and cannot tell if someone is flirting with her or if they like her. Along all that she is also very nice but very feisty and fierce on the field or if you are rude to her or her friends or dis girls who play sports and unlike the other jocks she isn't a jerk.

Bio: Tris was born to two loving parents, Bud and Natalie Underwood. As she grew up she instantly fell in love with sports and became very athletic, she joined the little league baseball team and stayed on the team until high school where she joined softball and was a starter on short-stop ever since her freshman year, by her sophomore year she was promoted to one of the three captains with the others being Seniors.

One day when her brother, Reat, had just turned three Tris and him were in the park after getting ice cream and Reat went off chasing after some doves, he chased them and was running by the church next to the park that was being released at the time. A man pulled up and shot into the crowd of church goers three times and then began laughing like a maniac and was soon tackled to the ground. It turned out that three people were hit, two of them were adults and he had aimed badly and had only injured them, enough that it hurt but not a deadly wound. The third shot had hit someone straight in the chest. The third person was her little brother, he had died instantly. Tris looked at her brother laying on the grass in the pool of his own blood and anger mixed with sorrow filled her body. She ran to the man who had fired the shots and pushed the man the man holding him off. She began punching the guy letting her rage fuel her. It took three men to pull her off and eventually she began to sob. She sat by her dead little brother and held his little hand in hers and cried until she was pulled away by the police and taken to her parents where they all stood together, her parents being silent as she sobbed. Shortly she moved with her parents to a new town and she began a new as a Junior at Valley High. She still continued playing softball and was instantly put on the team and promoted to captain and graduated with a full-ride to Clearview Bay University as a short-stop fast pitch softball player. (Sorry I included this for my friend who passed recently). Tris was instantly a starter for the softball team as a short-stop. Recently Tris was contacted by the Olympic Softball Coach and told her that she was invited to tryout for the team come spring time, she has yet to tell anyone.

She is a charmer and very flirtatious - if she likes you, you will know it. Despite her fun personality, she has made a few enemies due to how opinionated she is at times. She is very blunt when it comes to her feelings and has no problem telling someone what she thinks about them - good or bad. She loves softball, and any other sport that is outdoors, and enjoys playing the guitar in her free time.

Bio: 
Sara grew up in a rather wealthy family as a single child; her father was a retired brain surgeon who owned a major pharmaceutical company and her mother worked at a major law firm in her hometown. Sara never had to want for anything growing up but she always made sure that she didn't become the type to flaunt anything in anyone's face. She knew that others might not have a life as easy as hers, which is why she tried her best to remain humble, never asking her parents for much but always being grateful when she was given something.

When others learned of her parent's wealth she was instantly categorized with all the other rich, snooty kids, despite how down to earth she really was. Sara tried her best to make friends with people from other social groups and eventually decided to join a sports team in hopes of being more successful this way. She ended up loving softball and stuck with it, growing close with most of her teammates, which fulfilled her need for acceptance.

Sara hated to say goodbye to her friends and family when she got accepted at CBU but it was necessary for the degree that she wanted to pursue. She remained positive despite knowing she would have to start all over, especially since her father was one of the founders of the university.
