Park stood at his bus stop with his head down and head phones on. He wasn't exactly friends with anyone on his bus. Acquaintances really. He just found it best to go through school with his head down. Kids were cut throat, this was the best to avoid that vicious energy from being aimed at him. Abigail was somewhere talking to boys in his grade. Which was kind of gross. Not only was it his sister but she was only fourteen... Probably had her bleach blonde hair wrapped around her finger too. Their mom hated it. Having just immigrated from Korea shortly after having Abigail, she wanted her kids to be proud of that part of their lives. She felt like Abigail was trying to get away from being Korean. Last year, she had asked for blue contacts and Park thought that their mom was going to kill her. She said it wasn't fair that she got to mad at her when he didn't to deal with her drab brown eyes. But it wasn't like he had asked for them.
The music escaped from one of his ears as his headphone was lifted off of it, "Whatcha listening to?"
Park looked at Elle, she was a friend of Abigail's. So, she was younger and just like his sister flirted a lot, although, she did it a lot less than his sister. He cleared his throat and removed his headphones, hanging them around his neck, "I was listening to The Stills."
"Oh sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt you. Who are The Stills?" She asked innocently. Park was slightly curious if she really didn't know who they were or just wanted to stop him from putting his headphone back on. After all, she clearly meant to interrupt him. How would one not be aware that they were interrupting someone while removing half of their headphones. He shrugged, "An old band..."
She nodded, "You are really knowledgeable about music, Park. I bet you just listen to the old dead guys... God!" She said out of no where, "I would kill for your eyes. They are so haunting and gorgeous."
"Thanks..." Had it been any other girl, Park might have put his headphones back on after answering her question. However, she wasn't just any other girl. She was his sister's best friend, and Abigail would probably beat him if he didn't treat her well, and he couldn't deny that she was hot.
