Park continued on his math work when Ryan tok a seat across from them. He then took to ignoring his presence until he said his name. He looked up at him as his eyebrows knitted together. Could this read his fucking mind? He shook his head a little when Misaka scolded him slightly and removed his hand from Misaka's knee. He sighed and looked at Ryan, "Sorry. I hadn't realized that you called dibs... So... Maybe I have come out to play but at least I don't play with every second girl I see."

He placed Misaka's pen on her book but didn't grab his own. He pulled his bag onto his shoulder and bowed over dramatically to Ryan, "My apologies, your highness, I'll leave you and the lady alone."

He looked to Misaka and smiled, placing his hand on her shoulder. He leant over and kissed her cheek, half to repay the two she had given him, half to rub it in Ryan's face. He turned his head away from the boy and whispered, "I think... You're beautiful."

He straightened and nodded to her, "I'll see you later."

He then turned away from the two of them and walked over to the table that Sanders sat at with a few over friends. He tossed his book on it and grabbed out a pen. He didn't write or even work on his math though. He just sat there, thinking and nibbling at the end of the pen.

Misakas face dropped as Park stood up and bowed to Ryan. "Paruku..." She said softly as he kissed her cheek and whispered into her ear. She blushed a beautiful shade of red. As he straightened up she nodded and responded "See you rater" she said softly as she watched him walk away. Once he had gone she turned and scowled at Ryan "What is your probrem?" She said angrily to the boy who now looked upset that she was using such a tone with him.

She shook her head and picked up Parks pen once again and buried her head into her math work. She wasn't going to be talking to Ryan for a while, he had to apologise or she wasn't going to be friends with him anymore.

Ryan sighed "Look Misaka, I'm sorry but he always acts like this with a new girl, he butters you up to get into your pants, I don't want him hurting you is all" He said with the up most sincerity. Misaka frowned again, Park didn't seem like the kind of boy to do that. She figured he had never had sex either from the way he reacted to her compliments and kisses. Either Ryan was lying or she had seriously misjudged Parks character.

Sanders pated Park's back, "I saw you holding hands with Misaka. Are you going to get with her?"

Park shook his head. "Probably not... Ryan's a dick who wants every girl in this school.... I don't think I can stop him from winning Misaka over," He glanced over his shoulder at her and gave a bit of a sad smile to the top of her head before turning back around. He sighed, "No big."

Sanders punched him, "Yes big! I haven't seen you this spellbound since Kim. And you are currently walking around with, no offence, currently the biggest freak in the school. That isn't your style. Meaning that you actually have a thing for this chick and isn't just in your pants," Sanders smiled at Park didn't reply, "Ooooh. I'm right, aren't I? You know, there is some psychology thing that proves that we fall for people like our parents. I think you just fell for your Japanese mom."

Park looked at the table, tapping the back of his pen of his book, "My mom is Korean."

"Tomato, tomahto," Sanders said back clapping him on the shoulder, "I think you'd be good for each other. It'd be nice to see you get out of that little shell of yours," He joked, tickling Park's stomach.

It was Park's turn to punch him in the shoulder, "Shut up, man."

Misaka looked hurt. She didn't want to believe Ryan but he sounded so sincere and honest with her. She stood up teary eyed. She stuffed her books into her bag and walked over to Park and put his pen down in front of him before giving him a watery glance and walking rather quickly out of the library.

Ryan leant back in his chair and gave a rather sadistic smirk. If Park were to look over and see him, he would have a very proud look plastered all over his face. He returned to his work as he gave almost an evil look over to Park.

Misaka had made her way outside and sat under the tree she was under earlier. She liked this spot, it was out of the way of everyone else. She brought her knees up to her chest and buried her head into her knees as she cried a little. Her first day was a nightmare that she just wanted so badly to wake up from.

Park looked up at Misaka when he saw her hand in front of him, returning his pen. At first, he thought that she might have thought that he needed it. He was about to tell her that it was fine when he noticed the tears in her eyes and watched dumbly as she left the library. He looked over his shoulder to see Ryan looking at him, smirking. What the hell had he said to her to upset her in such a way? He turned back around and Sanders pushed him, "What the hell, man? Go!"

Park laughed a little and grabbed his book, throwing it into his bag before throwing it over his shoulder and running out of the library. He didn't have a bloody clue where she had gone but he did know that there probably weren't many places that someone wanted to cry. She most likely didn't know where the counselling suite was, which left the first place that he had found her crying. He ran outside and managed to find her at the tree. He walked over and dropped his bag on the ground, he sat down and looked at her, "What happened?"

Ryan watched him run out, a small sign of worry on his face, he wasn't expecting Park to go running after her like that. He quickly packed his back and made his way out, he wanted to see what would happen. Hopefully, Misaka wouldn't speak to him and tell him to get lost and that she never wanted to speak to or see him again.

She looked up at him with teary eyes as he spoke to her. To Ryan's dismay she opened her mouth to speak. "Is it true? Ryan said you 'butter up' girus to get into dere pantsu. Is zat why you have been nice to me aru dai?" She asked, her voice cracking a little as she didn't want to believe Ryan, but she couldn't deny the sincerity and honest tones in his voice. She really liked Park and didn't want it to be true. She didn't even know what she would believe if Park denied all accusations. Ryan had always been nice to her but so had Park.

Park was a little taken back when Misaka asked if he buttered up girls just to have sex with them. His eyes widened slightly as he shook his head, "God, no!"

He wanted to take her hand but was worried that she might think that he was just buttering her up still. He shook his head, "Till last year... I had a girlfriend. Kim... I broke up with her when I found out that she cheated on me while on exchange in Europe... I haven't really been interested in aspect of any girl until... well, until now... I'm not going to lie... I've thought about you in that way but I'm a guy... Our brains go there with pretty girls," His ears turned red as he scratched the back of his head, "But that isn't why I was 'buttering you up'... That isn't the endgame.... Never was... I mean... I just met you, so it might be too early to really know.... But I like the idea of you..."

Misaka looked up at Park, her eyes still teary, now from the fact that Ryan had been lying to her. "I...I see" She said softly. "Ryan ried to me den" she said looking rather hurt. She took it to heart when someone lied to her. She wiped her face and looked at him "Wait... You dought of me, sexuary ?" she looked at him blushing. She had never had sex or a boyfriend or anything similar before so it was a subject that she always found embarrassing. "But you was not being nice to jus have sex wiz me?" She looked at him wanting to make sure she understood exactly what he was saying. "But... you like ze idea of me..? What does that mean?" She asked confused.

Ryan made his way over and folded his arms at Park "It means, he likes the idea of you naked in his bed, I wasn't lying to you Misaka. He does just want you in his bed." Ryan stated as he looked at her. He sounded so honest. Misaka looked at Ryan then at Park. She didn't know who to believe, they both sounded so sincere.

Park rubbed the back if his head, his ears bright red, "Ya... I have... And of course it isn't. I may be a guy but I don't have that much of a one track mind."

He opened his mouth to explain himself to Misaka about his idea of her, when Ryan came over and 'explained' it for him. He growled slightly, his hands balling up into fists, and looked up at Ryan, "Not what I meant at all, Ryan."

He looked back at Misaka and sighed, "I don't know you well... But in the last few hours I've only been able to think about you and... not just sexually. You are what I think to be the kind of girl I'd want to fall in love with... But I don't know you well enough to be sure of that... So this Misaka inside my head... My idea of you... I like that."

Misaka looked up at Ryan once again and the Park. She stood up and folded her arms at Ryan. Ryan frowned at Park. "Will you stop lying to her?!" He yelled at her. Ryan was hoping that Misaka would see that if he made a big deal about it she would believe him and walk away with him rather than Park. Ryan didn't know why he was trying so hard but he figured unlike the rest of the skanky girls in the school she was a virgin, and he wanted that badly. Ryan was a heart breaker, he'd charm girls into them thinking that she was the only one he'd ever want, then dump them the day after sex, if they were good at it he might keep them around a little longer but not too long.

Misaka looked at Park, wondering how he would reply to Ryan yelling at him. She wanted to give Park a fair chance before she just walked away, she did see sincerity in his beautiful green orbs.

Park was fed up with Ryan. He had seen how he walked around this school. The ass acted as though he owned every girl in it. Like every girl was dying to get with him as much as he was with them. He stood and looked at him, he fists clenched. How badly he wanted to kick this kid down a notch. Let him realize just because he was an arrogant prick didn't mean he had the right to shape the world as he chose, lie about shit to get what he wanted. And now, he was making up crap about him just to convince Misaka that he was a hero, that he was saving her from Park. He knew exactly why he was doing it to and even if Misaka hated him after this, he wasn't going to let Ryan hurt her.

He didn't really think about it as his hands rose up by his chest, his anger brewing. One hand shot out and grabbed Ryan's shirt while the other struck him in the jaw. Holding him still, in case he cared to fall, Park pulled him close, "Tell her the truth, Ryan."

Ryan let out a grunt of pain as his lip was now bleeding. "See Misaka?! You cant hang around him! He's a violent pervert!" Ryan glared at Park. Ryan wanted Misaka to think the worst of Park and he figured if he carried on this act a little more that she would believe him. Misakas eyes widened as Park punched Ryan in the face. She didn't like violence, it scared her. Ryan tried to pull away from Park but Park had a good grip he'd give him that. Ryan licked his bloody lip and hissed a little as it stung. Korean dick had made him bleed, he was going to pay for this soon. He wanted Misaka to come running and stop Park, tell him she never wanted to see him again and walk away with Ryan where she could look after his 'wounds' and she'd fall for him like all the others had done. Then he would do what he wanted with her. She was a virgin, so she was worth it in Ryan's eyes.

Misaka however, just stood there, watching. She didn't know what to do. She figured that Ryan must be telling the truth there was no way he would have kept lying through all of this... surely? She bit her bottom lip, should she let Park continue or should she stop him?

Park growled a little when Ryan decided to keep up his little game and called Park a pervert. Park pushed him away as he released him and pulled out his phone. He quickly dialed a number and stood there saying nothing as it rang. He nodded his head when the call was answered by a hushed voice, "Hey.. Kim... it's Park...."

"Park? What... why are you calling?"

Park moved the phone away from his ear and put it on speaker, holding it away from Ryan, his front leg lifted slightly if the ass tried anything. He sighed, "I was wondering what you thought of Ryan?"

"He's a skirt chaser.... Why are you asking me, Park?"

"No reason, I just wanted you to be honest. For once. Bye." He hung up before she could reply to him and looked at Misaka. He rose his eyebrows, "There. An honest opinion of Ryan's character."

He nodded and pressed his lips into a fine line, "Although, I'm not sure you are going to believe me and I.... Don't care to listen to how this guy is tainting my reputation. So... I'm gonna go. Don't let this ass hurt you though," He started to walked by Ryan before his stopped and looked at him, "And don't give me another reason to punch you."

Misaka looked at Ryan and he looked at her. He gave her a weak smile and just as he thought she was going to run over to him and give him a hug. Misaka ran right past him. 'what the fuck? Ryan thought as she just ran past his open arms for a hug. Misaka ran over to catch up to Park and she linked onto his arm and looked at him "I am sorry I doubted you" She said softly as he hand gently fell from linking his arm to holding onto his hand shyly. "Was dat your ex?" She asked curious. He had mentioned a Kim just before and when he spoke about her being truthful for once she figured it probably was the same Kim.

Park was a little surprised when Misaka ran over to him and grabbed his arm. He looked at her as she apologized and smiled. He felt a little swell of pride in his chest as she lowered her hand and took his. When she asked about Kim, he sighed and nodded. He ran his free hand through his hair, "Ya... She was always a bit blunt when it comes to people.... So I knew she'd say what she thought... Also, I needed someone I... well... despise to say it, to avoid Ryan saying it was planned or some bollocks."

He noticed they were walking toward the library and stopped. He looked at her, "Class is almost over... Do you want to just hang around out here?"

She nodded "I can not understand why Ryan would do dis... he has been so nice to me today" She said a little disheartened that people would actually trick her into thinking someone else was an awful person. She looked back at Ryan to see what he was doing and he had already vanished. Misaka shook her head a little but looked at Park when her started to talk. She smiled and nodded "Here is good" she said smiling up at him cutely. She got caught in his gorgeous green eyes once again. She couldn't help but be in awe with them. They were so vividly green and she loved them.

Park smiled when she said that there was good. He looked down at her and noticed that she was kind of staring into in eyes. He could only think of one real reason that she'd be fixated on them. The same reason everyone else was. He chuckled a little bit and smiled down at her. He pressed his lips into a thin line and just looked at her before he spoke, "Can I hug you without you thinking I'm trying to put the moves on you and let it just be a 'sorry that Ryan is a major dickwad'"

He hesitated a moment but didn't bother to wait for her to ask what it was that he meant. He was pretty sure that there probably wasn't a translation. He smirked, "It's an insult.... basically calling him.... well.... a lot of this. Mean, low, rude, disrespectful, cowardly, unworthy," he chuckled a little at himself, "I'll stop..."

Misaka giggled at his rambling and nodded to the hug "You may hug me" She said holding her arms out. When he hugged her she felt... safe. She didn't know why but she just enjoyed his arms around her. She nuzzled into his neck, he smelt nice. Everything about him made her calm. She closed her eyes to just take in the moment. She smiled and pulled away from him as she heard the bell go but still had her hands on his chest and looked back up into his eyes, biting her bottom lip shyly. Her gaze was broken by a rush of people exiting the building doors they were close to. She looked when she heard laughing. It was Parks little sister and her group of 'friends'. She frowned and the 'leader' yelled "Oh so the reason you didn't like us saying anything to the foreign freak is because shes your girlfriend! Haha! You move quickly Park!" She scoffed as she made her way down the stairs and walked off giving Misaka a glare.

Park wrapped his arms around her and rested his chin on her head. This was... nice... Really nice. He smiled and just held her there against him until the bell rang. He loosened his hold around her and smiled down at her, happy. Of course, that was ruined that moment Abigail and her little friends came out. He rolled his eyes at the girl and shook his head, "No. I didn't want you to say anything was because I'm a foreign freak. Abigail is a foreign freak, no matter how much she bleaches her hair."

Abigail looked at her brother, "Park... stop."

"You're Korean! You have two passports! You weren't a citizen here for a good few years!" Park said loudly to her, "You might not remember living in Korea but that doesn't mean you get to harass people who have lived elsewhere," He then looked to the 'leader' of the group, "And you! You don't even know how hard it is to move from a different country. How scary it can be. So BUZZ OFF!"

He took Misaka's hand and walked away with her and toward their bus. Elle laughed a little, covering her mouth. Abigail shot her a look, causing Elle to laugh more, "What?! I was just thinking about how that is the most I think I've ever heard Park talk... And so angry too. He's hot when he's angry, you know."

Abigail shook her head, "Shut up."

Misaka didn't like conflict. As she heard Park and his sister argue she felt herself retreating into a shell. She watched park as he yelled at his sisters friend. She found it strange she didn't think he had it in him to shout. He had been so quiet around her all day.

She went along with him as he tugged her hand. As they were nearing the bus stop she stopped. She pulled him backwards into her and wrapped her arms around his neck. A hug. "Sankyu, Paruku-kun... Foru sutanding up for me." She whispered into his neck. She had figured that it wasn't in his nature to usually do something like that.
