Nathan just groaned "this is not what I need" he mumbled to himself. 'As much as I'd like to just move and avoid any trouble, I know better then that. It's starting to look like school isn't to different from the wild. And if there's one thing I learned about the wild; it's that you never show weakness in front of anyone potentially hostile. Shaking his head, he addressed the girl "no. No I will not move. I was here before you, and I've already gotten comfortable. You can say whatever you want, but I really doubt that you'll get a rise out of me. However know that if you try to escalate this into a physical confrontation, I will defend myself. I am in a really bad mood today, so I think it's in everyone's best interest if you just drop this."

Danny on the other hand just brushed off her insult without any problem "you know, you're being awfully mean. People don't like to be around mean people like that. If you keep treating others like that, then you'll end up alone and bitter. Just like old miss Spinster, back in my home village. She didn't have anyone, and I always felt so sorry for her."

Alice was bewildered over what's happening in her way to class. At first it was only something as mild as some people planning to bully another person, that's as normal happening in a place where the nobles were trying to enforce their superiority. Then things got weirder from there as another person showed up and proceeded to beat the snot out of the snobs. However the person seemed to be another sister of the Princess. To top everything off, a handsome guy was involved and all the girls seemed to lose all the ability to think and gone over to be bitches in heat. Even Annenis was confused that the majority of the girls all went batshit insane before they both find a quiet corner to seat themselves in.

"Ookkkay, that's a bit over the top for a random dreamy pretty guy," Annenis said as she heard one of the girls not only tried to push Nathan away but also resorted to insults.

"At least the teacher's here already," Alice groaned, distaste was obvious in her voice.

Sentius tried to tone out the girls who were interrupting his train of thought. Going back to school was annoying enough, he did not need another fan club to deal with. It was all one big headache for him to deal with. He thought to himself as he moved into his own world leaving everyone else behind in his mind. Hmph, this magic class is a waste of time. I might as well show this ingrate for a teacher how far superior my knowledge is to his.

"Okay girls, take your seats already! Mr. Shirodan is trying to watch you shits and you're acting like a bunch of chocolate freaks." He paused as he took a look over toward Nathan noticing it was the same student he had problems with earlier. That shit again, I bet he started this for his own amusement. He then pointed his finger over toward Nathan. "Think you're the class clown now don't you?" He said as everyone had finally taken notice after they were all saying, "NOT AGAIN!?" They all knew it was that asshole of a teacher from earlier and he was back and had his yard stick in hand. He pointed toward the girl who was barking at him, "GO SIDDOWN!!!" He shouted as she immediately fled for her seat.

He then turned his attention toward Nathan and looked at him with a suspicious eye, "Look you little shit, I'm keeping my eye on you. Any monkey business and it's detention for you. Just remember you're on my Shit List."

"GREAT, NOT HIM AGAIN!?" Reala yelled rather loudly where he turned his attention asking her if she said anything where she just shook her head no. "Those words just got away from me is all." Though she thought in her mind. Ugh, I cannot believe I'm letting this teacher intimidate me.

Meira looked at the teacher with a rather disappointed look on her face, one that gave the impression she wasn't impressed by this teacher nor intimidated by his words. "Oh great, if it isn't King Moron. Just what we need, more morons!" Meira's voice kind of carried where she provoked the teacher and immediately found his yard stick slam against her desk. "That's it missy, detention for you! Anyone else want to be funny?" He looked around then back toward Nathan his eyes went, "What about you? Do you want to join her? I'll make your world hell kid!"

"WHAT!? THAT'S..." Meira stopped herself before she said anything that gave her even a worse punishment. She thought it was total crap that she got detention though she did call a teacher a name which wasn't a good idea. "It just slipped. Please give me another chance." She begged but the teacher didn't look like he was buying her excuse.

"Yeah I give you another chance and you'll be testing my patience again. I am not a moron like you suggested and I certainly wasn't born yesterday, dimwit. Make that double now!" He barked at her as he turned his attention once again toward Meira away from Nathan. Meira sighed in disappointment since she knew it was going to be a long day for her.

Shirodan decided to return his class which was government while Morein Fangmire or the one the students called King Moron saw that Edward Squall walked in. "Mr. Squall, that pink haired mouthy brat has double detention for talking back to a teacher and also badmouthing and that Nathan kid I'll let you handle his mouth." He said as he walked out the door not paying any attention to what Nathan had said.

Meira stood up and stomped her feet on the ground in anger, "YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!!! I'M A PRINCESS AND I DO NOT EVER RECALL SIGNING UP FOR THIS CLASS OF HELL. LET ALONE A DICTATORSHIP!!!"

Wait, he was actually letting him? Well this was convenient. "Actually, that would be really helpful. I'm supposed to be keeping an eye on her for her aunt-" not the full truth, but close enough "-so I would have to wait at school for her to get out anyway. I really appreciate the offer sir" he said to the teacher, his voice completely sincere. "However there are a couple of thing that are bugging me; what's a class clown, and why do you think I'm one?" His voice was still 100% sincere.

Mr Squall walked in rather calmly with a coffee cup firmly in his hand. He looked towards Nathan, and quickly stopped he shouldn't even be in this class, and simply ignored him. He turned towards Meira, "In order to rule, you must learn to be ruled. Leadership requires displicine, which you clearly lack. Now, I will give you the choice of you learning this on your own, or if I need to drill it into your head."

"The princess is a bit of a rebel, isn't she?" Annenis whispered to Alice. "You should tell me how you two got acquainted later, that sounds amusing."

"It's not as fun as you think it is though," Alice frowned as she whispered back. "At least we didn't get Mr. Fangmire for this, it's bad enough already."

"Tell me about it, Mr. Squall's pretty strict but at he's not a jerk about it," Annenis snorted before hushing any further reply after hearing Nathan's question. "Oh wow, is he serious? Where did he crawl out from? Cimmeria?"

"He said this was his first school because he traveled too much," Alice helpfully explained. "He's probably the type that learned by doing?"

"Seriously?" Annenis snorted. "Well, he got the big dork look down. I just hope he'll at least be adorable about it rather than being an annoying dork like your brother."

Sentius just kept his eyes forward paying attention to their teacher while minding his own business. It didn't seem he had any real interest in what the teacher had to say, but he was going to play along so that he didn't cause trouble. It would prove difficult should he mess up the plan he was contemplating while in the class.

Meira looked over toward Squall's direction then thought maybe there was a way she could get out of detention. She then started to search for thoughts in her mind which might help her toward getting a pardon instead of double time detention which sucked for her. She wanted to go see what Ranathia was up to after school, but now that she landed herself a full hours worth of detention that was going to be difficult. Besides, Ranathia might be back by then and that meant she didn't get to have any fun due to the stupid teacher named Morein who everyone calls King Moron. "Um Mr. Squall, do you think just this once if I bake you something that I could get off the hook with detention?" She said in an attempt to bribe the teacher. If she knew one way to win at trying to get out of trouble was through a man's stomach.

Reala looked at Meira and could only sigh. She that it was rather foolish that Meira was trying to bribe the teacher out of her detention. It also looked like she was pretty desperate too if she was going to take the time to actually fix meal for someone. Reala remained silent while thinking to herself quietly. Seriously, that Meira is such a fool sometimes. Honestly, does she think this mean ass teacher is going to easily let her off the hook by just a simple bribe. I don't think he's that stupid.

Nathan resisted the urge to facepalm 'did she really just ask that? Oh boy...you're doing it wrong! If you're going to bribe someone, then do it when no one else is looking. It's too late now, since if you don't have detention, then everyone will know he took a bribe...and I'm sure he knows that' Nathan sighed 'and Reala calls me ignorant of the world. Sure I'm a little out of my element here, but I'm starting to get the feeling that I understand how the world works better than Meira.'

Meira's statement hit the rest of the class like a truck. Some of the students were gobsmacked at the sheer ridiculousness of what Meira was attempting but most were simply unable to hold their amusement and the class was filled with various state of laughter. Even Alice, who normally would frown at an attempt of bribery, quietly laughed at Meira and her words. There were also a few whispers that those in the student seats could probably hear from their place, mostly speculations that Meira's blatant bribery attempt was her attempt to deliberately fail the class altogether.

Mr. Squall looked at Meira dumbfounded, and for a few moments he was speechless. "In all my days teaching, many students have tried to bribe me, however I have never seen a student be so blunt about it. It appears you haven't been taught any Discipline, which is exactly what dentition is there to instill." he then glared at her and smirked, "Perhaps, I could do you a favor and extend your time in detention if you insist."

He then paused, and turn to the class, "Now if ever has got all their smartass comments out of their system, it is about time we stopped wasting time and proceeded to today's lecture."

Meira looked at the teacher then sighed as she shook her head. It was obvious there was nothing she could do to get herself out of detention and the fact she had a full hours worth just made it even worse for her. Her motivation to go exploring in the ruins had been crushed, but she knew it was her own fault for opening her big mouth. A voice laughed inside her mind. Do you honestly think he was going to be taken in by such a pathetic attempt? You really do have a lot to learn my child.

Sentius was paying attention to the teacher when someone had contacted him through telepathy. He noticed it was one of his workers for his company. Though he wasn't entirely pleased with their timing. He was busy trying to analyze Meira and see if this magic class he had heard about had anything resourceful he could glean from it. He thought in his mind while not closing his eyes so that he didn't look like he was doing anything suspicious. I told you never to contact me when I'm busy with my analysis. I'm trying to gauge what this girl in question is like you rudely interrupt my thinking process. Well, this better be good if you contacted me while I'm in the midst of doing something. The man who contacted him first apologized for interrupting his boss research then informed him that they found some kind of strange metal where they first originally found the Rune of Origin during their excavation. Very good, analyze its properties then send me the results via my phone. I will observe them later when I get the chance. Meanwhile a kid two seats behind had fallen fast asleep and had their head buried in their hands lied down sideways in their desk.

Outside a window a pink haired girl stared having her sights in Sentius. The girl was wearing a cloak, but it looked like she was wearing a red dress underneath. She seemed to be concentrating all over her attention on Sentius while another girl who looked like her with the exception of having short hair who wore a pair of black shorts, a blue t-shirt and a pair of tennis shoes and orange and white striped thigh highs was sat down right beside her sorting through what looked like tarot cards. "What is Lord Sentius doing, Taru-chan?" The girl as politely as she played one of her tarot cards down after she drew it from the stack. The first card was The Tower in an upright position. Taru smiled at her while rubbing the top of her head with her hand in a friendly gesture, "Doing research like always. He seems to be infatuated with Antitypes and the Rune of Origin."

"Heh, Brother is so silly. It's almost like he's married to his work." The other girl smiled where Taru just closed her eyes and did the same. She was enjoying her time with her identical twin sister though due to their differences in hairstyles you could easily tell the two apart. She chuckled to herself as she though about what Anayame just said. Heheh, Brother? I guess you're right about that one Anayame. Though I'm not sure I can entirely trust him yet. There's just something about him that scares me.

Even though it wasn't necessary for Reala go to school, she decided to since if she didn't she would never make sure that her sister was keeping her with her books. Since their aunt was busy investigating Chaos Runes and their purpose, there was no one else to make sure that Meira didn't try to ditch class. Though she wasn't doing a very good job at keeping her out of trouble since Meira had already gotten herself an hours worth of detention served on a silver platter by King Moron.

Ranathia had entered some ancient unknown ruins that were manufactured from a very strange material. What was even more mysterious that the walls were like perfectly new and the fact that there were no imprints or anything written on them. But she reached what looked like to be a dead end. There was absolutely no door in sight and it didn't feel like she was still on Gaea either. She couldn't sense the girls anymore. She hoped they were okay, but since she had come this far she decided now wasn't the time to stop. Ranathia approached the wall then a strange light emitted from her body which cause a glyph to appear and light up where a circular doorway opened up. "Is this a passage? I wonder where it leads to? Also, how did I just activate it and what was that strange light I felt on my body? It felt so warm and comforting." She said to herself as she walked into the circular passageway of light then found herself in another room again with no doors.

Whomever who designed these ruins made them specifically to ward off intruders. She tried to use her navigational device to see they were located, but the location was so shocking that Ranathia almost stumbled backwards from the huge surprise hitting her like a freight train. "Could these be from the race that was rumored to exist? Even the Sindel didn't have such advanced technology." In front of her was a large screen that looked like it was in thin air. There were several buttons on this screen. Each written in a language she could not understand though something inside her was telling her to hit the middle one. She hit the button where out of thin air rising from the surface below came a huge shelf of books. One name mad her eyes widened when she saw it on the side of the shelf. The name Sentius was written in very large letters.

"Well done finding Sentius ancient long lost library." A voice said with a grin which caused Ranathia to turn her head to address whomever it was. The voice sounded like that of a man, but the person was hidden in shadows that they didn't show themselves, but judging by the look in his eyes he was hear for more than just a conversation.

"Ancient long lost library? What do you mean by that?" Ranathia questioned as she reached on her back and grabbed her sword taking it into her hand. She wasn't about to attack the individual unless they provoked her to do so, but she was at least going to defend herself if they went on the offensive.

A voice spoke into Mithos mind. It was the voice of a girl who said into his mind. "Ranathia, your princess is in danger. You must protect The Key before it is lost. It is up to you. No one else is available to do the job." After that the voice went silent and a portal suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

Mithos didn't like this one bit. 'This is far too suspicious. Just who was that, and why contact me of all people? "My princess" she says, just what does she mean by that? Ranathia means nothing to me, I know what she really thinks of me. My concern for her only stems from my general concern for life. So again...why me? She claimed that no one else was available, but that's ridiculous. How could I be the only person that coud be called on for something like this? This smells like a trap. Although...what if it isn't? Whoever this person is, they're powerful enough to enter the minds of others, and create portals. If I do nothing, then I might incur the wrath of such a person. Dammed if I do, dammed if I don't.' Sighing, Mithos went to pick up his sword. After he was armed, he walked though the portal.

Just as the person was about to speak, he saw an angel like blonde hair man appear out of a portal created. This man stood right next to Ranathia as the portal closed swallowed into the void it came out of. He looked over toward this person and looked at him with irritation in his eyes, "I don't ever remember inviting you. Why don't you make like that portal you came out of and disappear."

"Mithos, why are you here?" Ranathia questioned caught by surprise by Mithos sudden emergence. She never sent for help and how did he know where she was anyway? He couldn't have just sensed her since she lost everyone's energy readings after she entered the ruins. Though she did sense a very strong presence emerge then suddenly disappear after he got there. Perhaps it had to do something with who he represents? She thought to herself as she kept one hand firm on her blade as she let it caress the surface.

Mr. Squall looked at the child who was sleeping and made a mental note of him, another child not worth his time to teach, at least he wasn't disturbing the class.

Squall than moved his hand across the board, and five symbols appeared. Two where side by-side near the top of the board, the one to the left looked like two interloping circles with a line through them, the other was three connected "X" shapes with a line through them. Below those two symbols where two others, the left being an arrow pointed to a small line, and the right was upward pointing arrow with two lines drawn on both sides of the arrow and connecting to it. The final one was below the other four, and appeared to be a very complex scribble and it was hard to figure out quite what it was.

He then addressed the class, "Does anyone recognize these symbols?" he said, knowing most would not have a clue about them since it was a rather rare type of magic that not many people used. However, he liked to start with this type of magic to scale up his students.

"Interesting...so she was telling the truth" Mithos said to himself as he took a look around. "To be honest, I'm not completely sure why I am here at all. Some strange woman contacted me telepathically and informed me that you were in danger. However she also claimed that I was the only person available at the time, so I'm not certain how reliable of a source she is." He shrugged his shoulders as he said that last part "...and now I'm suddenly realizing that I failed to inform anyone about by departure...wonderful. I can just tell that this will cause me even more problems" he groaned

The individual still hidden by the darkness was about to approach Mithos when a hand stopped him. Another individual a bit taller had used his hand in a gesture in front of his body to stop him from getting any further. The man then peered at the two from the dark depths they were veiled in. "It's okay, Luther. Even though this person came unannounced I could use his duress situation to my advantage." He paused as he snapped his fingers where an individual brought a symbolic figurine that shined forward and put it in his hand. "How about a proposition for you?" He took a brief pause as he took one step closer to Mithos, but keeping his distance so he could not see his face. "I will give you this Rune of Power to restore your pillar that was taken from another dimension in exchange for The Key. The girl comes with me and all your problems vanish like they never happened. Are we at an agreement?

"Wait a minute!" Ranathia interrupted when she realized he just said Rune of Power. She didn't know whether it was a trick or not. The fact that this person kept himself hidden meant he was likely to deceive people and didn't want to the person he deceived to see his face. "Are you saying that if I go with you that all Mithos problems will go away? Do you really have that kind of power? And the Rune of Power was destroyed. I saw it with my own two eyes." She reminded him as she stepped forward keeping her hand firm and stead on her sword just in case he might try to attack them while they were distracted.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sentius looked at what the teacher was putting down though he seemed to show no actual interest in what he was writing. He thought to himself as he had to force himself to listen to all that rubbish. This is amateur criteria. It has nothing to do with me and someone of my caliber doesn't need to pay attention to such feeble knowledge.

"What do those symbols mean?" Meira questioned as she had no idea what he was talking about. This kind of magic she was not at all informed about and when she took a look over at Sentius his eyes showed a sign of disinterest. While she pulled her attention back onto the teacher she thought to herself quietly. Of course he doesn't care. Why would someone of his level care about magic that is far inferior to his own? But why does he insist on forcing himself to pay attention like that? It's a bit disturbing if you ask me.

"I'm not a fool" Mithos replied. "You say that you can undo all of my problems...I sincerely doubt that. Then there's all this about some key. That strange woman from before mentioned it as well. It's clearly the reason I'm here, and if I simply turn it over, I might very well draw the wrath of whomever sent me here. Considering she was able to speak to me telepathically, knew of the situation here, and was able to create a portal here, I doubt she's someone I want after my life. So no...I don't think I will turn over this 'Key' to you. I have no reason to trust or believe you."

Sheer disappointment overshadowed the man's face as he continued to keep his distance so neither Mithos or Ranathia could see him. The man was hoping to come to agreement with Mithos, but now that they were at a disagreement meant he would have to try a whole another approach. He turned his attention away from Mithos and thought maybe he could persuade Ranathia to surrender herself into his custody. He took a step forward and made a few gestures toward Ranathia while talking in an attempt to persuade her to make a better decision than Mithos did. "Ranathia." He paused for a moment as he tried to get her attention where he got a simple yes response from her lips. "Surely you understand if you agree to my terms that Mithos will no longer be plagued with the problems that haunt him from a month ago. In fact, I will also help you to figure out the mysteries about who you are that you want to know. I'm sure you want to know why you're The Key and the reason you possess such a special object known as the Rune of Knowledge, correct?" He took a brief pause as he gave her a chance to answer before he would see if Mithos would interrupt if she agreed before he continued with what he was going to say.

"If I agree to go with you as you requested, do I have your word that you will fix Mithos problems and restore the broken pillar from the loss of the Rune of Power? I know that rune in your hand is the Rune of Power, but I don't know where you got it. Though if it will help Mithos and clear him of all doubt and suspicion I may be inclined to your agreement. I am curious though, why do you need me that badly? You spoke The Key then you talked about having Mithos hand "the girl" meaning me over to you. What do you look to gain from having me in your captivity?" Ranathia said as she nodded at the man agreeing to his terms though before she came to her final decision she wanted to at least hear what he knew. She was sure that even Mithos probably wanted to know what was going on though she was a little worried that Mithos might try to intervene due to this person he spoke of who talked to him a moment ago. Strangely enough to Ranathia he didn't recognize that it was perhaps the spirit he was align with. if that was the case then perhaps going against the spirits might not provide decent odds for them.

Mithos didn't like any of this one bit. Ranathia was actually considering going with this man. Mithos had been instructed to keep her safe, so if she really went with him, it wouldn't end well for him. Then there was Ranathia herself; why was she pretending to care about him? "You have no idea what my problems, my real problems are. Quite frankly, even if you did, I doubt I would want you to fix them, considering what it would likely require. In fact, I believe you taking Ranathia will cause more problems for me. Since someone powerful enough to contact me telepathically and create a portal here instructed me to keep her safe" he responded. 'Although why she didn't come do this herself if she's so powerful, or why have me do this, escapes me' went unsaid

Posting for the absent Alphakoka.

While the teacher was writing the symbols on the board, Alice examined them closely. She did not understand what a single one of them meant. Tilting her head downward she looked at the book she was given. If it was a magic class then why was she even in it in the first place? It wasn't like she could use magic. She looked toward the teacher raising her hand and in a very polite voice she asked, "Um excuse me? What kind of magic are you teaching since I don't think I feel like I am at place being in this class at all."

She knew her foster brother Whizzle knew magic, but since she was human she didn't have the innate ability to harness it. Even if she befriended the Holy Spirit Stellvia, she still doubted she could use magic like other people could. From what she remembered and read in Whizzle's texts is that humans are unable to wield magic since it was an innate ability. There were other ways they could use the art though she found most of them deplorable and frowned at the thought of some of their harsh methods in making it possible. Annenis looked at Alice while she was waiting for the teacher to answer he question while chuckling to herself. She thought Alice was just being shy again, because you could see it from the innocence in her eyes.
