She looked back at him and blinked at the shade of color in his eyes. "Your ey--" She stopped and shook, maybe his eyes weren't green before. "I'm just Emilia, you can call me Emi though. I enjoy calling people by their first name so I hope you don't mind me calling you Phillip." The woman dropped off the drinks and disappeared once more. She took a sip of hers, it was warm and smooth. She hummed in happiness and smiled back up at him. "So you're a canine too? Can you believe we will be living with Felines?" She shivered obviously but laughed.

Phillip shrugged. "I've never really had a problem with Felines. Maybe it's just because I don't like fighting, but I've never really disliked someone because of their race. I guess I'm a bad son huh? Considering my dad was a general." He picked up his drink and nursed it in his hands. "Dad always told me I was weird to hate fighting, because of my magic." His eyes turned to a dull steel blue as he talked.

After looking through a series of rooms that Euphae found uninteresting, though they were obviously planned out and well furnished, none of them suited Euphae's taste. She spent a lot of time to herself, so she wanted to pick a room that she deemed perfect. After trying seven or eight other doors, Euphae was certain that the room she currently stood in was hers. She took the placard from it's place and slid the pen from the little compartment under it. On the card she wrote "Phae", decorating the border with stars and asterisks. After placing the card back into it's slot, Euphae wandered back into the entrance hall to retrieve her bags.

She shrugged and looked out the window. "I just have really bad memories of felines."
She looked back towards him and gave him a 'oh wel' kind of look. "I don't think it's weird. I was just raise to fight." That was an understatement, she had been trained to be a assasin since the age of seven. "I'm not really good with 'magic'". She air quoted.

Phillip picked up the knife on the table, twisting it expertly in his hands without looking. As the blade did figure eights around his wrist he sighed. "My dad said my magic is called 'the Warriors Right', and that it had something to do with knowing weapons and combat. All I know is that when I pick up a blade or a gun or really any weapon I already know how to use it." He stopped moving the knife and put it back down on the table, crossing his arms. "I can move faster and hit harder than other people too. All in all I wish I had gotten some kind of magic less obviously geared towards fighting."

That would have came in handy for all the agonizing training she had to go through as a child, and soon felt envious of the boy who sat in front of her. She didn't really know what to say about his powers, she didn't see anything not to like about it, but at the same time she thought it was okay not to fight. She looked outside and sighed, "I can manipulate the weather, not like.. [i]me[/m] but my emotions. It usually rains if I'm upset enough, thunders when I am angry, blah blah." She rubbed her shoulder nervously. "And other stuff, but there pretty much just as pointless as that." She took another sip of her drink.

Phillip took a long drink from his cup and smiled, his eyes back to their normal blue. "Weather control would be pretty cool, if you could learn to control it. I don't know, I guess I can't complain about my power. It's saved my life several times so I guess it's earned it's keep." He rested his chin on the back of one hand and sighed. "Using it is a thrill though, I just wish I could do it without hurting anybody."

"I wish mine didn't hurt me as much, I always compare it to a shot from the doctors but of course fifty times worse than that." She laughed, but felt like she should explain. "It's usually when I have to conduct something physical, it's like the first moment when the needle goes in your skin, the enticing pain that lessens once the needle is resting, but then it's the feeling of whatever liquid is being pushed in to your skin, like an automatic bruise and it rushes all over the body before the exhausting." She sighed heavily and put her hand under her chin and closed her eyes. "It's all pretty painful, and I don't know why." She opened her eyes, this had been a pretty depressing conversation. "Are you ready for that swim?" She winked playfully.

Phillip's eyes took on a slight violet hue when she winked at him, but unless she was paying attention to his eyes she wouldn't notice. "Sure," He said, picking his nearly empty cup up and drank the rest in one go. "Lead the way." He had pretty much figured out where his swimsuit was by now, so it wouldn't take him long to change once he got his stuff into a room.

She stood up and stretched. "Alright, I left my bags down by the door so now I can choose my room as well." She headed for the elevator for them to go back to the bottom floor, once they got there she picked up her bags and waved at him. "See you back here in ten?" With that she wandered down the hall, each room was luxurious but her eyes were headed towards the door at the very end of the hall, she had a feeling it would be hers. Once she opened the door, her breath was taken it was a gorgeous room with windows that spread wall to wall facing out to a.. ocean? Where in the hell were they. She noticed the card had not yet been taken and quickly marked her name on it, happy only seeing one bed so no roommates. She poured her bag on to the bed before finding her black bikini and slipped in to it while wearing a beach dress to walk out in and a pair of flip flops. She made her way back out in to the lobby and waited for Phillip.

Phillip took a little longer down the hall, opening a few doors on the way and not finding any room he particularly wanted to stay in. Finally he found himself at the end of the hall and noticed that the last room had Emilia's name on it. With a small chuckle he opened a door two down from hers and stopped. "Perfect." He said with a grin, pulling his suitcase in. A few minutes later he walked out in dark green swim trunks, a short sleeved white button up shirt and black flipflops. He walked down the hall with a towel rolled up under his arm to meet Emilia. "Are you ready?"

Her smile was filled with way too much excitement, but the pools looked so beautiful and they were all connected one way or another so they wouldn't get bored just swimming, plus there were waterfalls which mean there were probably some one's with little caves behind them. She nodded and was ready to sprint outside, but it probably wasn't a good idea since she was wearing flip flops. "Yeah!" She headed for the doors and was already pulling her dress over her head, and kicking off her flip flops before running a few steps and cannon balling in the pool. "Come on slow poke." She called out playfully.

Phillip was momentarily stunned by her swimsuit, and his eyes turned a dazed purple before he composed himself and they went electric green. "I'm coming!" He said, making up for lost time by leaning on his magic. In a flash he was out of the shirt and sandles and in the air, doing a double somersault into the water. Breaking the water with barely a splash, he came up for air seconds later. "What's the judge's verdict?" He asked, treading water.

She threw all ten fingers in the air, and pretended to quietly scream like a fan girl. "Wonderful, beautiful a perfect ten for mister Steel." She giggled and splashed at him before disappearing under the water and coming up next to him. "Boo." She said in his ear before dipping back in to the water and swimming towards the edge and popping up again.

Having brought her luggage back to her room and unpacked, Euphae was sitting quietly in her room at the desk and reading a book. That was, until her focus was broken by loud noises coming from outside her window. She peeked through the curtains to see two people in the pool below her window. It was the girl from earlier and a boy. 'Great...' She sighed to herself 'I forgot to check the location...' Looking back at the book on her desk Euphae knew she wouldn't be able to focus with the noise outside. She decided to go out and wander about the campus. Maybe she would find a library or something.

Phillip swam over to the edge of the pool next to her and leaned back, tilting his head back and relaxing. "This is nice." He sighed, closing his eyes. "You know I had to drive all the way here myself? It was a two day drive. I'm tired, but I don't really want to get out." He looked over at Emilia, the water distortion only adding more appeal to her. "For several reasons." His eyes had turned entirely violet now, and he was mentally chastising himself. Dammit, what did I say about dumb pick up lines?

She put her elbows up on the side and mimicked his sigh while kicking her feet behind her, looking out to the dazzling stars. "This place is absolutely fantastic." She whined. Her eye brows scrunched, "I had to take a plane and a boat to get here, but it only took us about 12 hours." She shrugged, but then smile warmly at him. "I really don't want to leave either." She bumped him with her hip, "for several reasons." She laughed and then winked at him before kicking off the wall and floating on her back above the water. She hadn't been there for more than a couple of hours yet she already was beginning to have a crush, which was rare because boys usually never even noticed the girl.

Phillip just rested there for a while, having a hard time deciding whether to watch the dazzling night sky or the equally dutiful Canine in the pool with him. Finally he decided on the latter and just watched her float. His eyes were now a bright magenta, almost glowing as he watched her. "You know, you're going to give a heart attack if you get any more beautiful." As soon as he said that he put his face in his hands. "I totally meant to say that in my head."

She sat up in the water and blinked at his comment as a red hue filled the tops of her cheeks. She was beautiful, what exactly was this boy on? But it made her smile and laugh as she shoved his face in to his hands. "I like when you speak your mind." She teased and swam back over to him, she placed her face very close to his, her lips only centimeters away from his. "Are you having one yet?" She whispered before giggling playfully while pushing away from him back in to the water.

Phillip almost fell backwards by himself when her lips almost touched his, only being saved from falling over by the pool wall. his face was bright red, and he was suddenly glad the water was distorting his lower half. "I, uh, well. I think I'll have that heart attack now." He stammered, his eyes lightening to pink. his heart hammered in his chest as she pushed away, and he lowered himself into the water until it was almost covering his nose. This girl is going to kill me with my own emotions. He thought to himself.
