His mother died during child birth, leaving him with an over-worked father and a jerk of a half-brother who hated Larkin's guts and blamed him for their father leaving his previous wife. His father was away from home more often than he was there and he left it up to his eldest son to take care of the youngest. He never did, instead forcing Larkin to take care of himself. When their father passed away in a car accident, Larkin was left in the custody of his brother. When he turned 18 his brother then shipped him away, not wanting to deal with him anymore.

Larkin is a cold, stoic, and arrogant person who shows little regard to the lives of those around him. He is, more often than not, willing to leave those who slow him down behind. Despite his words, Larkin frequently saves those around him, and even puts his own life at risk, though he does it grudgingly and openly complains. Larkin is more or less emotionless; only anger, annoyance, and dissatisfaction showing on his face. Larkin has a very inquiring mind when there is something he cares about, but at the same time, he has almost no tenacity of purpose. If he becomes interested in something else, he will arbitrarily turn his back on what he's doing.

He has the ability to manipulate fire and he can also move objects with his mind as well as communicate with his thoughts. This helps because he is mute. The only draw back of his mind telepathy is he has to be touching someone for it to work.

*Background: Philip prefers not to look into the past, always forging ahead into the future. With his parents dead and his sister missing, the people who brought him to the academy wonder if that's not a way to keep himself from being depressed.

*Personality/traits: Philip is very chipper and good natured, always willing to lend a hand. Despite his obviously combat oriented ability, Philip does not care for fighting and will try to avoid it if he can.
Weapons/Abilities: Philip doesn't carry any weapons, but he has enhanced speed and strength and seems to intuitively know how to use many types of blades, ranged weapons and firearms.

Just so it's all clear, I play under the rule "My character is not me.", meaning if Euphae is mean to one of your characters, that doesn't mean I don't like you.

I entirely understand. I don't and can't do that myself, but I get the idea. I get bleedthrough, so sorry if I'm a bit cold if your character is mean to mine, it's not permanent and by no means reflects my own feelings.
