Peter grabbed the machete and examined it. "Awh, you checked my wish list." Peter said cheerfully, tossing it aside for the time being. Spider-Man's senses were going crazy now as Kraven stood and stared at them with pure hatred. Peter nodded at Lexi saying three. He knew she didn't have a problem with the police, but way back when when Spidey was getting started, the two weren't at good terms. He was usually called a menace (he still does, but at this time a lot of the city thought it to be true). He had no problem with them now, but the last thing he needed was the swat not only getting in danger for going up against this psycho, but also he didn't need them thinking he was the bad guy.
Kraven rushed at him with rage, swiping quickly. Peter spun away, kicking him in the jaw as he did so. Kraven snarled and glared again. "You are beginning to be a pest..." Kraven growled. "I have an act for that." Spider-Man responded, but not before getting tackled to the ground by the large man. His arms were pinned down, the man smelled like animal pelts, and he stared at Spider-man with hunger and hatred. To be completely and totally honest, he would much rather be in a warm moon, where snow wasn't in his underwear right now, and with Lexi staring down at him.
"My, Kraven... What sharp claws you have...!" Spidey said as he struggled to get his hands free. "You joke too much." Kraven snarled. He dug his sharp animal-like nails in to Peter's shoulders. He grunted in pain. He was sure Lexi was on her way to get the large man off him, and he also knew that it wouldn't be long until backup (if they absolutely needed it) would show. He couldn't shoot his webs though, he really didn't want Lexi to tackle this guy. Kraven's nails were piercing through his suit and deeper in his skin.
Spider-Man shot a web towards the gun lying in the snow, but Kraven moved his hand on Peter's forearm. Just as he'd anticipated. Peter used his other arm to swing his fist on the side of the Hunter's face. Even with Peter's super strength, the punch did little. It let his hands get free though, and with that he pushed Kraven up with his legs and arms, rolling him off Peter. He stood and looked at Lexi, and then everything went in to slow motion again. he turned to see Kraven leaping towards Peter. His shoulders were on fire, but Peter managed to lean backwards as the man barely hit him, another clean cut through his suit.
But Peter didn't relax, because Kraven's target wasn't him. It was Lexi.
