The day began cold and a bit bitter, very unusual for spring near the Black Order...the air was almost angry as the day began. But The normal routine ensued as everyone started waking up and getting ready for their day before heading down to breakfast.Most everyone enjoyed breakfast together and were about to go on with their day, when the doors burst open and a young Finder tripped into the door dropping to his knees, "DEAR GOD SOMEONE HELP!!!" He was covered in blood and his outfit was torn in many places, "THE CITY OF DALE IS UNDER ATTACK!!!" Quite a few gasps were heard, but before anyone could speak up, the leader of the Black Order, a man called Aaron, stepped over and caught the boy, "Tell me exactly what you saw." his voice was deep and rich like a bass guitar. The Finder took in a shaky breathe and looked into Aaron's eyes in terror, "We were looking into a possible Innocence manifestation...When we approached the young accommodater he turned on us in rage and used his innocence to slaughter all of my squad... " Aaron looked around before saying to himself, "A Fallen? In Dale..." The boy coughed hard and blood leaked from his mouth...Aaron went back to looking at him, "Sir...After that...Hundreds of Akuma showed up...Hundreds upon hundreds...Dale is in danger..." Aaron looked upon the boy and simply hugged him with tears in his eyes, "Shh You're safe now...You're safe." Aaron held him until he felt the boy slip away succumb to the Akuma's poison. After a few minutes Aaron rose to his feet to address the exorcists, "You heard him didn't you! Get your things and defend Dale! Go!!!" Aaron threw on his jacket and grabbed his sword, "God save us...Give us speed. As the exorcists approached the city it was plain to see that Akuma were destroying buildings left and right and killing people without mercy. The finder had been right...There were hundreds upon hundreds of Akuma and the city had become a war zone. Aaron lifted his sword and activated his innocence, "KILL THEM ALL! RID THEM FROM THE CITY THESE ARE YOUR ORDERS!!!"

Aria was one of the first few to leave, right behind Aaron. As they approached Dale, she activated her Innocence with a battle prayer. "God above in Heaven's Grace, guide my arm and give me strength." As she muttered the prayer under her breath, her right arm started changing, from under her sleeveless uniform a blackness started covering it, swelling it and changing it. At her elbow the blackness started protruding, growing outward and sharpening until her entire arm was a blade. She took off, her Innocence giving her speed and strength, and was one of the first to meet the Akuma head on. There were plenty of level ones there, but she ignored them for the most part. She was after a specific breed. A level 2 came up on her right, throwing purple fireballs from a rooftop, and she belined straight for it. It saw her coming and turned it's attacks on her, but she easilly deflected them. Two Level ones moved in front of her as she jumped, but she battered them away with her blade. "STOP HIDING BEHIND YOUR PAWNS, COWARD!" She yelled as she leaped again. This time she was fast enough, and her blade pierced straight through the Level two. The Akuma shuddered for a second, then burst into black bubbles and was absorbed by her blade, which seemed to glow an even deeper black before returning to it's normal state, if subtly changed. The blade now had a serrated edge, and she quickly looked around for more Level twos to feed it.

Kara sat in the corner of a crumbling building, trembling from the fear she couldn't control. She had lost her brother and sister long ago and she was scared for their lives as well as her own. They had woken up together in this town just as these mechanical killing machines started attacking. In the chaos she lost the only two people she knew and she was left defenceless against these killers.

A machine started advancing to her hiding place and she froze. This would be where she would die. This thing was going to kill her, without her knowing anything about how she got there. She wished with all of her heart that something was there, that she had some tool to defend herself with, and there they appeared. Two gleaming revolvers manifested in her hands and she immediately knew what to do. She shot at the machine and it quickly feel apart and disappeared. Maybe she would get out of this mess alive...

Her brain grew fuzzy and her vision blurred as she tried to remember anything about what had happened before she woke up, but she just couldn't.

She shook her head and walked out of the building and looked around and called out for her elder siblings. "Brother! Sister!"

Celia stood up and brushed herself off, still a bit dazed after the explosion. Suddenly she heard the voice of her sister, and snapped back to reality. Looking towards the voice, she saw Kara looking in the other direction, not looking at her or the two machines bearing down on her from above. "Kara, look out!" She yelled, swinging her umbrella towards the creatures as if it would extend out and hit them.

All of a sudden it did extend, opening and expanding as it did. By the time it reached the monsters it was nearly 20 yards across, and easily pushed them off course, making them miss her sister. She caught up to Kara and huffed indignantly, looking around. "Who are these creatures who think they can ruin a perfectly good evening with my siblings and walk away unharmed?"

As Jayce approached the city, he could see it was swarming with akuma. Gazing ahead, he made out Aria fighting in front of him, jumping from foe to foe like it was nothing. Her skills in battle were near unmatched. Jayce had to shake himself to keep moving, Now is not the time to admire women. Almost within range of the nearest akuma, he started to weave left and right making his movements unpredictable and harder to target. Unsheathing his dagger, and unwrapping his the from his waist chain that was connected and the hilt of his blade, he prepared himself for the fight to come.

The nearby akuma noticed him as he came close, but not not quickly enough. As it turned to face him, Jayce sprung into action. He lashed out with the chain at the akuma, It expanded until it wrapped around its body, and the spikes started to grow as well, piercing the akuma's armor. Jayce retracted the chain with a thought, sling shotting him past the now immobilized akuma. He managed to reach his dagger out and slash through the side of it as he passed, but his main target was the level 2 akuma passed it.

Shit it sees me. Jayce thought. The only problem with the tactic he was using is that while midair, you have little to know defense and you can't really alter your path. As he came closer and closer to the scorpion-like creature in front of him, the dread he felt multiplied 10 fold. It was almost as if it were slow motion, he knew his mistake but there was nothing he could do about it. Too late. The akuma reached his claw up and batted Jayce away like a fly, sending him soaring into a nearby building cracking the outer wall. Laying in pain and agony the only thought coming to mind, Is this how I die?

The scorpion akuma trudged over to the disoriented and immobile Jayce, preparing to use its stinger. Not today, death. Time to roll the dice. As the akumas tail lunged forward, Jayce rolled to his left, throwing his chain the direction which he had came. Yes! It stuck! The chain had managed to wrap itself around the scorpions tail, and as he pulled the stinger out of the ground to prepare for another strike Jayce followed being pulled by his chain. The akuma looked up at him in confusion and Jayce could sense the fear in its cold dead eyes. He smirked, while elongating his chain preforming a drop directly onto its torso. He tore into it with his dagger and soon enough it disintegrated just like the first. Not today, he thought while scanning for his next target.

"Celia!" Kara ran over to her elder sister,feeling like she was about to cry. Hugging her tightly she looked around in fear, questions circling in her mind. What is going on? Why cant she remember her past? What are these machines trying to kill her? And why did these guns appear in her hands?

She scanned the crowd, searching for the one she knew was missing, the sisters brother. She saw a machine coming closer to her and her sister and she raised one of the guns, shooting it once dead on. It quickly disappeared as she looked up at her sister once more. "Do you remember anything? Where is big brother? What are these things?" Those questions were the most important at this point. Nothing else mattered...

She could see other people around, but she didn't know if they could be trusted... Maybe they should stay away from them all..

Celia huffed again before looking down, putting one arm around her sister. "I'm sure he's fine, hun. Lark is tougher than nails. He's probably around here somewhere fighting these things bare handed." As she tried to comfort her sister, she scanned the surrounding buildings, more worried about their brother than she let on.

As the fighting grew more heated and the bloodshed started happening everywhere a shinning explosion appeared near the edge of the city. Eris had arrived. She made her way over the city moving at extreme speed and slicing through Akuma with her sword and leaving a trail of destruction in her wake. As she flew she heard voices, expecting level 2 Akuma she filled her left hand with pure light and flew over them only to find two humans. Eris threw down a grenade of light harmless to humans but devastating to Akuma. After the blast of light cleared and the two were left standing still alive she landed next to them. To them she would appear as an Angel of holy light landing next to them, "The two of you need to get to the center of the city...There is a shield up there." That's when an Akuma bullet slammed into Eris's back sending her into a building. Eris turned around only to come face to face with an obvious level 2 Akuma. "Stand behind me...I'll do my best to protect you both!"

Aaron carved a swathe of Akuma blood as he marched carrying his great-sword and slamming Akuma apart, Aaron charged into a group of Akuma and carved into them before he was thrown off balance by a tunneling Akuma. Aaron was hit while in the air sending him flying through the air and crashing down into the river. A finder who had witnessed this gave his life to fire off the red flare in the street telling everyone that the commander had gone down.

Aria saw the red flare and immediately change direction, sprinting with inhuman speed across the rooftops. She reached the finder who sent it just before another level 2 did, catching it by surprise and adding another piece of dark matter to her blade. "Where did he go?" She asked as the serrations on her weapon became even more wicked. When he pointed, she told him to get to safety and dashed towards the river. She saw Aaron's sword over the water for a second and dived in, fighting the current with all her strength to reach him. When she did, she put her human arm around him and surged upward, bringing them to the surface and kicking towards dry land. "Hold on, sir, I've got you." She said between breaths.

Aaron was barely awake as blood poured from a nasty gash on his forhead, "Fucking Akuma tunnled under me Aria..." He looked down at his hands in the water, "God Damn them..." His eyes had blood in them and his body looked somewhat burned, "Is squad B okay? Have you seen Eris?" Aaron ever the leader was worried more about the others than the fact that he was wounded badly. When they got back on shore Aaron reached for his sword, "I can still fight..." He dropped to a knee and then forced himself to stand and grip his sword, "Stay next to me Aria...We need to get to the shield in the center of town..."

Seeing the creatures, Kara shot, acting on some weird instinct that bubbled up inside her. Upon seeing the red flair she turned to her big sister, "What does that mean? Is that person ok?" She didn't know what to do and was freaking out, her eyes showed this and they seemed to tremble in the light.

Celia raised her umbrella to fend off another barrage of bullets and turned to her sister. "I'm sure they're fine, there seem to be a lot of people fighting with him."

As if to confirm that, a woman appeared in a burst of light, looking down on them. As she told them to find shelter, she shook her head vehemently.

"I'm not going anywhere until we find our brother. we got separated somewhere out here, If you want us to move, help us find him!" She stopped another rain of fire, but one of the shots passed around the edge of her weapon and clipped her in the shoulder. She fell to the ground and clutched at the wound, but the pain was all physical. The the poison that the exorcist above knew should be killing her wasn't showing up.

Aria shook her head and put her hand firmly under Aaron's arm, helping him up. "You won't be fighting in the condition you're in. You'll only get in the way." Her words were brutal, but honest. She looked toward the center of town and continued. "I'll take you to the shield, then you can get yourself looked after so you don't bleed out. Don't worry about Eris, I saw her just a few moments ago."
