.
In an asteroid field around a gas giant that orbited a blue sun, The Light of Truth was cloaked and making it's way towards a large asteroid that was a couple hundred miles away, the mission for the crew on bored was to find and root out the leader of possible heretic base, that was rumored to be in this location, as the ship closed they started to pick up poorly hidden signals from the asteroid, inside the bridge the ship master stood in front of a large holographic screen that displayed the field of view in front of the ship, and the sides of it, bellow their were grunts working at their stations
"Ship master, the signals we have intercepted are without a doubt coming from the asteroid" one of the grunts said as he looked back at his work station
.
"so it is true, heretic's have made they're base there..." the ship master said before a door opened to the Bridge, the ship master looked to the door to see Rava in full armor
"Rava, good timing, we just intercepted some signals from coming from the asteroid"
.
"so the rumours are true..." Rava said as he joined the ship master on his platform above the grunts
.
"so it would seem, I want you to be ready, I'm going to send you with a squad to infiltrate the base, root out their leader and end his life, that way when we arrive they're chain of command will be broken, and they will be crushed along with their heresy"
.
"as you wish, ship master..." Rava said as he left to go to the hanger, the ship master then returned to viewing the holographic screens as he pushed a holographic button that sent a signal to the squad members that he chose to infiltrate the heretic base, five Elite's, two hunters, a Jackal as well as a Skirmisher and a Grunt, a red light would flicker with a chirp like sound signaling them to go to the hanger for their...., task.

Ramo Zarianee sat in the hanger, watching a trio of grunts playing near a phantom as he waited for something to happen. Apparently, he was supposed to doing a mission in a small while, and there was going to be a signal for the squad to head to the hanger, but right now he needed to be patient. As far as Ramo was concerned, the grunts at the phantom were to be taking one of the plasma cannons off of the phantom, checking it for any issues, sending it to a Huragok if it needed repairs and then replacing it on the dropship. It would be wrong to say that the plasma cannon had barely been touched. It had been touched alright, except that the touch was one of the three grunts bumping into the cannon, making it hover slightly off of the weapon's tripod, the entire cannon being tilted down and toward the ground. This was enough to make Ramo stand up from where he was sitting, and stride over to the trio of grunts. The trio looked at him, cowardly looks in their eyes as they wondered why the pilot was striding over to them.

Then it hit them, almost as hard as Ramo was prepared to do physically if they didn't do their jobs. Ramo came to a stop a few feet away from the grunts, and clenched his fists. Without a word, the three grunts walked up to the plasma cannon, took it off of the tripod and began their inspection of the weapon. With a low growl, Ramo walked onto the ramp of the phantom, glaring at the grunts. He didn't like when aircraft were disrespected. It was a bad habit, a pilot's habit, but Ramo didn't care. What came next infuriated him more.

One of the tree grunts walked up to Ramo, and said "We have found an issue with the weapon-" The grunt was cut off by a loud growl coming from Ramo, who looked at the grunt with frustrated eyes, and slapped the poor Unggoy across the face with the back of his hand.
"Then get a Huragok to fix it, and do your job instead of fooling around, or I will personally punish you!" It didn't a second for the grunt to realize that the Sangheili pilot in front of his was very angry, and immediately ran to his comrades to help them lift the plasma cannon to try to find a Huragok to repair it.

Ramo sighed, watching the grunts run off with the bulky weapon. His anger was starting to fade away, and he was left standing on the ramp of the phantom. A few grunts and jackals passed, shared glances at Ramo, then walked off. Ramo wished that he had something to do, and luckily that came. It came in the form of the blink of a red light on his helmet's HUD, and a chirp-like noise. That has to be the signal for the squad, The Sangheili pilot thought. I guess I can just wait here then. Ramo crossed his arms, and waited.

Katan had been in his quarters, for many days he had been anticipating this mission, to slay the heretics. He donned his armor and adjusted everything so that is was correctly on. "By my shield.." He looked toward the wall that held his weapons, he grabbed his plasma rifle, examining it for a moment. "By my flames..." He said simply as he picked up the the weapon, referencing its burning hot plasma fire. He picked up the inactive energy dagger and placed it on his arm, he grabbed his energy blade and placed it on his hip to holster it. "And by my blade the heretics will fall.." He said before leaving the room, he made his way to the hangar, he immediately took notice of he Arbiter and walked over to him.

as Rava walked down the corridors of the Light of Truth, his armor clad feet made a light clacking sound against the floor with each step, he walked dead center in middle of the hallway, others made sure to stand clear as he passed by, then Rava seen someone walk up to him from his peripherals and looked to see Katan
"Katan, good to see you, will you be joining me on this mission to root out the foul heretics from where they hide?" Rava asked Katan as they walked towards the hanger, passing by a few grunts as they did so

Igora stood in the hanger area watchong over the loading of the ship that was to be sent out. His colossal body slowly turning back and forth making sure that everything was going according to plan. He could tell his presence instilled much anxiety in the grunts as the scurried around moving crates and inspecting weapons. Igora stood at the hanger bay of the ship due to depart waiting for the crew and squad.

Ramo watched as the trio of grunts ran back toward him, plasma cannon in hands. They clambered onto the ramp of the phantom that Ramo still stood on, and replaced the weapon onto it's tripod under the watchful gaze of the pilot. Either the grunts were playing the stupid game, or they actually were stupid, because they fixed the plasma cannon on the tripod backwards. As the grunts began to walk back off, Ramo took an absolute rage.

"What are you doing, you fools!" The Sangheili pilot shouted. "First, you play and not do your job. Second, you can't even fix a plasma cannon on facing the right direction!" As the Unggoy trio walked back onto the phantom's ramp, Ramo's anger flared and he hit one square in the face. It whimpered slightly, but continued to do it's job. Together, the trio took the weapon on the tripod, and re-fixed it facing the correct direction. Ramo walked up and slapped all three grunts. "Now, make yourself even more useful, and inspect the weapon on the other side of the ship." The three Unggoy whimpered quietly as they walked through the phantom and inspected the second weapon, which they found was also requiring minor repairs. This time, the grunts took the weapon without word, and walked the same direction they had last time, toward a Huragok.

"And you better hurry, or I will slice your throats!" Ramo shouted at the grunts. Honestly, Ramo wanted to kill them. The pilot glared at the grunts as they watched a Huragok repair the weapon, then give it back to the grunts. The grunts walked back to the ship, and climbed onto the ramp. Unfortunately, one of the grunts tripped, causing the plasma cannon to clatter onto the deck of the phantom. "Oh, how I will hurt you, you fool!" Ramo shouted in rage at the grunt, kicking it in the stomach, then pushing it onto the ramp. Surprisingly, the grunt got off the deck and tried to resist, trying to reach for it's plasma pistol. Ramo couldn't bear it. Annoying the Sangheili was one thing, but trying to attack was unacceptable. As the Unggoy had the pistol pointed at Ramo, the Sangheili flared up his energy dagger and stabbed the Unggoy through it's chest, and kicked it's body off of the ramp where some other Unggoy or unfortunate people would have to clean up the mess.

Ramo looked at the other Unggoy, and was surprised to see them not standing around watching the scene but actually finishing the re-attachment of the plasma cannon. Ramo sighed, and stood tall on the ramp. He wasn't that angry any more, almost as if all of it had disappeared along with the energy dagger. Ramo continued to stand, and look around the room.

Katan looked to the Arbiter with an unsure look on his face, he wasn't sure why the high council decided to do what they did. "As am I, Arbiter..." He said , entering the lift, going up with him as Rava activated it. He did wonder, what did would this high councilor do on this mission, how much help would he be, these were all questions Katan thought of.

Five Sangheili slowly walked through the occasional covenant hallways, plants were seen on the ship's side and the walls beside them were clear, showing the water filled tanks that held the copperish colored alien fish on the other end of the this glass. The lights above gleamed a light down upon the black metallic plates on the floor, each surrounded by the violet bottom half of the walls that appeared to be a dull blue color thanks to the light, made of the standard covenant metal that was often made for ships like this. Four of the elites were in a tight rectangle formation, each of them were armored with either an orange or a dark-red colored armor, signifying them all as the occasional Sangheili Major. The two in front carried both a Plasma Rifle and a Needler while the two behind them carried the standard issue Covenant carbine and energy swords, all of them were given strict orders to guard a certain individual with their lives, whether he liked such or not.

In the center of them was a silvery crowned Sangheili that had a dark blue and gold on his armor... The armor reflected the light from above flawlessly as they walked past each individual light to get to the hanger in which he was asked to be in. Every time a new hallway was visible a Sangheili from behind moved forward to make sure it was safe while they halted his travels. It seemed as though every five steps the group stopped, delaying him from reaching the meeting area for far too long. With a sigh he continued to walk with the four majors, each too far on their guard to make sure the councillor was safe. By the twentieth time stopping or so the counselor finally reached his destination, knowing that these elites were just doing their job.

Once inside of the very spacious room that held several phantoms and the such he looked back at his "protectors". "You've done well in fulfilling your orders, and now you are dismissed from them. Report back to the Shipmaster and let him know the success of your mission." Said the councilor to the four Majors, instructing them specifically that he was no longer in need of their service. It was a shock to them since their orders were to stay with him at all times. "Councilor, we can't just leave you here... It is our dui-" Said the Sangheili Major before rudely getting cut off by the councilor. " You will do as I say Major... Report back to the shipmaster of your success. Do. I. Make. My. Self. Clear. Major?!" Now annoyed the counselor spoke more slowly at the end to show his annoyance to the Major, who was just starting to question the orders and forgetting who he was talking to. With a silent nod the four Sangheili ran to the shipmaster to give him their report just so they didn't displease their higher, already knowing that they would rather anger their shipmaster than their councilor. It took less than ten seconds before they were already out of his sight. Turning around the next thing that the councilor saw angered him further.

As he looked back at the hangar he saw one of his brothers, a Sangheili begin to abuse and kill one of the Unngoy, and then seeing him kick it down to hide the body. Of course the counselor didn't see exactly what happened, just the dagger made of energy inside the grunt. With a sigh and a shake of his head the elite councilor forced himself to stand tall again as he walked into sight. Seeing the Blue armor the counselor could assume that this individual was a minor in their military ranks, so mentally he thought he might as well go easy on the new guy... "Minor, What is your Name?" Was the only thing that could be heard from the councilors voice as he walked towards the pilot fists cupped and his stance was nearly flawless, giving off a more cliche military like appearance to help his appearance against the pilot. Only giving the pilot a second to respond the Elite councilor spoke again. " What is your name and what is your job here?!" The elite councilor this time gave the pilot a bit more time to respond this time as his serious tone of voice echoed in the room as it grew louder then how he asked before, showing anger as he demanded for the two simple answers.

After seeing the pilot kill the Unggoy and kick the body away Igora just stood looking at the others pay jo attention. He himself had little concerns for the fait of the grunts, and wont start now. He emitted a low gurgling noise uttering something un important in his language then walked away from the ram towards some plasma cannons the grunts were measing with.
"These are not needed." He said to them. What he said was jot so much heard as it was felt by those stand near. The grunts murmured then moved on.

" What is your name and what is your job here?!" Came the voice of an angry Sangheili. This caught Igora's attention and he turned his body to see what the commotion was about. Igora saw a Sangheili Councilor approach the ship questioning the pilot. Seeing the possibility of danger and that he had no guard he turned fully around and began lumbering his way there.

Seeing a Sangheili councilor walk up to him, Ramo had no choice but to stand tall and and answer the councilor's question. "I am Ramo Zarianee, I am a pilot." Ramo made sure not to make any sudden movements, as councilors were ripe for assassination, and this one had no guards. "I am supposed to be on a mission to eliminate some foul heretics, but I have no idea where my squad is. We were told to meet in the hanger."

Ramo had no doubt that the reason that the councilor had walked up to him in the first place was because of the pilot murdering the grunt. He expected punishment for his actions, but said no word lest he further anger the councilor. Instead, he would follow the simple phrase that murmured itself within Ramo's head. Speak when spoken to. So, the pilot stood there, standing straight and still.

as the lift went up, Rava looked to Katan
"Katan, though our enemies might be but foul heretics, Never underestimate them... for I have made the mistake of doing so before... and paid the price..." Rava advised Katan as the lift came to a stop on the hanger level before the door opened for them, Rava walked out to see a high councillor addressing a pilot, to this Rava tilted his head slightly before making his way over to them, halfway there he noticed a dead grunt on the floor below and narrowed his eye's before he looked back to the two Elites by the Phantom, he then looked down to the lower floor and told some Grunts to clean up the mess, referring to the dead grunt, then he continued his way towards the High councillor and the Pilot, making a light clanking sound with each step

Katan nodded in reaction to what the Arbiter said, he was right about that, Heretics were nothing to make light of, they were as much a threat as any Sanghelli. Katan also noticed the deceased Unggoy below as they walked, what a waste of cannon fodder he thought. He saw the look in the Arbiter's eyes and glanced to the two Elite Minors, he had already put two and two together. At least the body was being taken care of by its own, he would rather not think about what the Jiralhanae would do with the body had they recovered it.He followed the Arbiter still, his armor making a sound as he made a step toward the High Councillor.

The lights gleamed off of the blue Sangheili's armor, only to reflect back off of the Counselor's Silver chest. The pilot responded rather quickly as he too was standing tall to look as professional as possible to the high ranking elite. The responses were good, though something was missing... something of great importance. "Pilot, do you recall what my rank is? If so I'd expect you to know how to properly address me, correct?" The Counselor was annoyed by the fact that he was not addressed properly by the Pilot. Thinking in the back of his mind the counselor started to question if the covenant military needed more proper training for their members, especially on how to properly address each rank, by their rank.

'A pilot that kills our cannon fodder, making them unusable and that doesn't know how to properly respond to a counselor? Is this what we've downgraded to? Does he even have the proper weapons training? Our minors better have weapon training... How do we expect to kill heretics if our men aren't properly trained... Oh god, if this is the average combatant than what does that say about our majors?' Thought the counselor as he barely glanced behind him to see the hunter without his brother walk up towards him... Hunters are to work with a brother... ' WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS SHIP!?!?' was mentally screamed in the counselor's thoughts as he saw the Hunter finally get to him alone. His own anger was hidden in the back of his mind as he kept his serious, professional tone as he spoke to the Blue armored Sangheili.

"It is good to see you know the mission. Now, what exactly happened here Pilot?" was the last thing the counselor said, making it obvious that he was talking about the killed grunt. They were indeed pathetic little pests through to the counselor their use is still crucial... they were the living shields that take the fire for the elites, meaning less times the actually important members of the group (Elites) would get shot. They were nothing more than the cover fire and the meat shields to him, but that was why to the counselor they were important... the ship only had so many and the thought of them just being killed off by their elite superiors all the time brought the thought that when the actual battle begins they would all be killed off, leaving the elites to have to take the fire instead. Of course one grunt here and there wasn't much to be upset about, though it was still fun to play commander to the minors... something the counselor hadn't had the fun of doing for years.

A light clanking sound could be heard coming towards the two. "Clank, clank, clank, clank, clank..." was the next sound that the Counselor heard. Slowly he turned around, dismissing the Pilot for a while as he saw the Arbiter walk in, behind him would be a Spec-Ops Officer. Soon the silver armored elite was facing them and took two steps back to give them room to create a circle. "Greetings Special Operations Officer, Greetinging Arbiter." Said the Counselor looking at the two of them as he respectfully greeted them before continuing to talk to the Arbiter. "Arbiter, I take it you have the full report on the mission at hand?"

"I take it that you will be accompanying us on this task high councillor" Rava said as he adjusted his stance slightly, making sure he was standing correctly
"might I inquire why?" Rava asked the high councillor in a respectful tone

"Greeting High Councillor..." Katan spoke, making sure to be respectful toward the High Councillor, he was also curious as to what his role in the mission was. Katan stood next to the Arbiter, he looked over at the Mgalekgolo, he was confused as to why it was without its pair. Did its brother die in combat, what had become of it if not death, was it absent? He stayed silent, he head the Arbiter's plan to detail his squad, he was anxious to know what he would tell them.

Hagana came into the hanger after everyone else had entered and started up with each other. Seeing all the high ranking shangheili made him feel shamed for not being with his brother. His hulking figure clearing a path through the personnel I the hanger, and his steps making loud thuds. He made it to Igora and knowing what to do through sense and stood to the other side of the Councilor.

"I am sorry, high councilor." Ramo said, bowing, and lowering his head a bit in shame. "The grunts were not following orders, mistreating our plasma cannons and the one I killed pulled his plasma pistol on me, high councilor." Ramo wasn't sure that this reply would buy him much respect, but he had to understand that if a weapon was pulled on you, you had to fight back. Even so, he had done as the councilor had asked; explained what had happened. He noted that a pair of hunters had arrived, standing at either side of the councilor. He also noted that the Arbiter and a spec-ops officer had arrived, but Ramo was to listen directly to just the high councilor for now and explain his actions, and they could probably figure out why by themselves. It was pretty obvious. He kept eye contact with the councilor at all times, waiting for his reply.
