Today is April 5th 2550. It already 114 years and Uno Mundus as peaceful as usual. Today also the day where new semester started at Town Of Academic, Academy City at Elfteria, 2nd biggest main island in Island Nation. Lots of teenagers from different races came here to have their study. The moment one arrived here, they will fascinated with how well the building and situation here. No one would guess that 5 centuries ago, this place is war zone.

Not many people remembered what happened, 5 centuries ago. The beginning of Uno Mundus wasn't as peaceful like ones would expect. That time had passed like a bullet, nowadays people that ever participated in the war and alive preferred not to remember the scene and seek for a better future as the history of chaos was rarely taught in schools.

Lively steps of ever students who began running to their schools was a very interesting scene of its own. Though, not all ran. There were some who flying, using their transportation or ability to be at school on time. With this, the story finally began.

Skad Othim a young looking boy strode through the town past the Academy in Elfteria, a book open in his arms and his eyes skimming over the words of the ancient looking pages. The young boys dark hair fell over his dark eyes as his head bent forward, his steps making no sounds on the pavement and a dark air seemed to surround him.
Even as he walked with the crowed everyone seems to get out of this young boys way, so he never had to glance up once but he seemed to know where he was going anyway without looking where he was going.

"There is another close by, I can feel it" The boy muttered to himself "I need to guide them to the library"

Shadows started to swarm around the feet of the young boy and slowly started to crawl their way up his legs, In an instant he was then gone as the shadows engulfed him and sank back into the ground. Moving on to the next area to find who he was looking for, to find the other ancient books in the same set to the one he was holding in his arm.

The awakening...


It was like no other day in Elfteria Academy, the garden in the student council grounds were perfectly taken care of, flawless like white and pure like the waters of Lyranias, inside the campus,located at the girls private bath area, we see a young lady whose bathing in the clear black pool of waters, it seemed that it's just a special effect to suit the maiden's mood. The private bath located at the eastern part of the academy lengths 50 meters square, good enough to fit a huge group of girls to take a bath and bond with each other, the bath place is one of the most expensive sitings in the school as the water bills produce a high consumption rate, hence saving water is a must and there are strict schedules for taking a bath in the private girls bath which is Mondays and the weekends. The young lady's taking her time to relax in this hour, it was still very early to begin with, relieving herself from all the stress in the campus.

"The Library these days need proper schedules, many students have been victims of the forbidden books that they aren't suppose to know." She thought to herself while sulking in the waters.

A beautiful girl who is as white as snow like Snow White is waiting near at the doorstep of her acquaintance, Rinnosuke. The girl is named Tsurara Chiaki, a freshman who works part time in various jobs, earning a living for herself, living alone with no family attachments in Island Nation, life is hard for her and it's lonely for not knowing her parents. "Onii-chan! hurry up! we're going to be late!." Chiaki had been studying in Elftheria for a year now, she studied in Lyranias during her childhood days and middle school days. Chiaki was holding her bag, she's on her school uniform and carrying a kendo bamboo stick.

The night became day, the moon already replace with the sun and its light stroke a certain boy's room corner. The boy still sleepy after he returned from a forced enlistment... more like a conscription. At Island Nation, military service acted a test of manhood and a rite of passage from boyhood into manhood. So the boy, like it or not, need to follow it. Some people would spent 3 years to finish the trial, but some could finish them in less than 3 months. The boy itself only spent about a year to finish it with flying colors.

In a term, saying he is a genius was correct, but he not like that. The cause he could finish it faster because he put all his efforts to get away from that hellish place. In the place there's girls too. However unlike the guys, the girls didn't force to join conscription. And most of the girls became some kind of officer. The boy didn't want to remember any detail about that hellish place anymore and continued his sleeping, even though he supposed to enroll to his new school today.

Someone opened the boy's room's door and started grinning. The boy couldn't react and awakened by a flying body attack.
“Gbhhh!? Gbhgbhogbah!!”
"GOOD MORNING! Rinnosuke Nii-sama!"

The boy named Rinnosuke looked at the source of the pain and saw a blonde girl with blue eyes sit on top of his stomach. It was his step sister, Kuroshiro Nagisa.
"Oh... It's you Nagisa... could you gimme a break please! I still wanted to get some sleep."

The girl shook her head and put her fingers on Rinnosuke's cheek and started pulling them
"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!" shouted Rinnosuke as he is in pain. The girl just smiled and put her finger on her lips. "Today is special day you know. You don't forget right?"

Special day ... more like Rinnosuke finally attended his high school life at same school where this sister of his attended. Sure, Rinnosuke is quite interested with the school. But, he wanna get some more rest. The girl started rock back and forth on top of him.

"Guh... Please stop! FINE I WAKE UP ALREADY!!!"

Rinnosuke could only let out a sigh as he lost the match. Natsuki immediately kissed his cheek and went out first. As he removing his blanket, Rinnosuke step his feet on the cold marble floor and started cleaning his room. After that, he took his towel and started cleaning himself. The cold water managed to shifted Rinnosuke from his sleepy state. After he done that, he got his uniform and changed immediately after drying himself first.

The uniform felt pretty comfortable and it looks quite good on him. He went downstairs and noticed only his step-sister there.

"Where's mom?"
"She went earlier this morning to handle some important business deal."

Both of them ate their breakfast and cleaned their plates when someone called them

"Onii-chan! hurry up! we're going to be late!."

Rinnosuke looked outside and noted a girl with similiar school uniform was holding her bag and carrying a kendo bamboo stick. It was their neighbor, Tsurara Chiaki. It certainly felt weird to be called Onii-Chan by the girls who have no blood connection with him. But, Rinnosuke kinda enjoyed it... being an older brother off course.

"Wait a sec, Chiaki-chan" said Nagisa as she took their house spare keys and tossed one to Rinnosuke. "Let's go, Nii-sama"

Rinnosuke just let out a sigh as he got out from his house and called the Tsurara girl

The virtue Ragnar, a male human who seemed to be in his 40s despite his white hair and profound eye bags threw a thin file on the desk at the office of Bernabé and happily proclaimed:

"Congratulations miss Power Bernabé. you have won an all expenses vacation trip to town of Academic in Elfteria."

Taking a sip of her coffee mug, Bernabé raised an eyebrow and without bothering to look at the documents she had been given she answered

"I haven't been in any contest of the sort. If this is the only thing you came to tell me you can leave my office immediately and go back to tell your superiors at the internal affairs ministry that I have plenty of cases to solve and my time between police operations and judgments is too limited for me to take any vacation in between them."

The human laughed with an insincere laugh and raising his arm he moved his index left to right like an inverse pendulum

"Well, consider yourself even more lucky, the ministry has decided to rearrange your schedule so you are free of any duty for the next three weeks."

The hearth of the angel shrunk a bit in that moment, but she didn't show any signs of it when she answered back

"I'm sorry, what did you say? For a moment I though the internal affairs council were disturbing my life in such a way that it would seem that they want to get rid of me."

"Precisely Miss Bernabé. While you have been preforming your duties outstandingly, your superiors decided that they were perhaps too outstanding and even worrying by the fact that you never seen to take a rest now and then."

"So of course, they just want to get rid of me for a while."

Bernabé then took the dossier and started to read through the papers in it. Most of them were just touristic pamphlets, but there was also a ticket to fly to Elfteria, a reservation of a high standard hotel and two letter; the first one being written by the ministry of internal affairs detailing the reasons of her forced vacations, which was promptly ignored, and the other was from the Academic city which urged her to come give some sort of historical special lesson to the students there as a guest.

"What is this letter from the Academia doing here?"

"Oh, you received it today, and since we know how much you hate idleness we decided to give you a reason to go there so you could inspire the new generations with your valuable wisdom."

Bernabé reread the letter and saw signs that it had been inside an envelop, envelop that probably had been issued to her personal correspondence and had been shamelessly opened by the government.

"This invasion of personal privacy is outrageous. I'm going to fill an edict right now to the tribunals pledging for this offense and crime."

"Too bad, according to the order issued you are demised of your charge of judge for three weeks, starting about five minutes ago."

Bernabé took some minutes to finish the formal criminal charge document before putting it inside the dossier and answering

"It doesn't matter, i'll issue it as a civilian. Don't you think you are going to get away with this. You'll hear of m..."

When she looked up she saw that Ragnar was not there anymore and she was all alone in the office. She laid back on her chair and bringing the coffee mug to her lips she though to herself

"Justice shall lay upon you. It is the same for everyone."

The next day she would be flying towards the Island Nation

"Ne... The day's rather nice isn't it...?" mumbled a sleepy voice as it's brown-haired owner slowly awoke from his rest. The light Spring breeze and the sun shining onto him made for a rather comfortably warm combination. While it was indeed odd for a young man to be sleeping on the rooftop of his apartment building rather than the bedroom of his cheap apartment, Ren found it much more soothing to be exposed to the elements. The fact that the Island Nation was rather warm all year 'round due to its proximity to the equator was quite the bonus as well. Sure there was the occasional storm or such that would force him back into the aforementioned cheap student apartment, but all in all, he much preferred the outside to the choppy AC of his apartment, though that didn't mean he wouldn't use its utilities when necessary.

"Hrumph," Ren grunted as he got up off ground and dusted off his clothes from yesterday. As per his usual morning routine, Ren would go back down to his room, take a quick shower, prepare himself a new set of clothes for the day, and then head off for wherever. Sometimes he'd go for a kind of breakfast afterwards, but that wasn't all too often as he usually found himself not needing the foodstuffs.

The Terrenian tribal-turned-ESPer stepped out of the elevator on the bottom floor and waltzed out the door, whistling to himself a little tune. Yeah, going for breakfast at that one cafe just a few blocks away from the beach on his way to class seemed like a decent idea.

Unknown to the city in which she trod in a dragon had come to visit the city of Elfteria, though this dragon was in her human form with the greenest eyes and the bluest hair tied and platted. She had no idea why she was in this city nor how she got there but she was there, smiling at everything she saw as she enjoyed the sights of the town.
In her arms she held an ancient looking book that seemed plain and boring to any eye that wasn't a dragon's eye, but the book held secrets beyond any other creatures wildest dreams.
The young dragonette was called Arydun Untryr, a purple spirit dragon and one of the very few left of her species. As to why she is hiding like she is in human form, Arydun may not be the brightest for a dragon but she knew that among all those who would help her there were though that would hunt her down.
The Spirit dragon was currently searching for any source of dragon information she could find, collecting all she could of their lost and almost forgotten history and the book she held in her arms was her most valuable piece of information. She wouldn't let anyone get it for the world nor would she let herself be killed or captured so easily as she held half the dragon's knowledge in her mind, it would be lost with her.

Cassius was at the cantina, maybe someone there would ask him to do a job discreetly, he was a good person he just needed the money. No one was exactly in the market for the last living super soldier now that the war had passed, still though, people still had conflict. He always wanted something to fight, it didn't matter if he was on the losing side or not he always wanted to fight. He ordered a drink from the bartender, shaking it a bit to allow the ice to make the beverage a bit colder, this would be his first drink and he could never get drunk so he may as well. As was about to he was bumped into, causing him to spill the drink, with an audible sigh he turned around to face a man. "You want to pay for that?" Cassius asked in a slightly angered tone, the man ignored him and began talking amongst his friend., Cassius grabbed him by the neck and lifted him 4 feet off the ground, pinning him to the wall, the cold steel of a pistol placed against the man's throat. "I won't ask again...." He said as he pulled the pistol's hammer back.

Bernabe was at the backseat of a taxi she had taken when she arrived at the airport, dressed in a short white dress, more fitting for the warm weather of Elfteria than her office attire, and with her wings hidden behind a special corset that allowed her to sit normally without hurting her back. She was indistinguishable from a twenty-something human girl, except for the absurdly long blonde hair and the luminous halo around her. Because her belongings were being sent directly to the hotel, she had some time to go to see by herself where the Academia was located since she would be visiting it the next day, not minding the fact that it would be closed by that hour in the night.
At one point during the travel, she witnessed a bunch of people running panicked from inside a nearby bar, one of them even crashed on the taxi, which promted the driver to shout a string of mundane swearing and angrily press the claxon. The one that hit the taxi, a girl that could be human or maybe an half ling with an elf, hit the windows of the car and said

"Someone help please, there is a mad man with a gun in there threatening my friend!"

Upon hearing it, Bernabe calmly, but swiftly, walked out of the taxi and after asking where this mad man was she was pointed in the direction of the canteen and told that this man was in the first floor. Forgetting the fact that Elfteria wasn't her jurisdiction and that she was even supposed to be demised of her charge as law enforcer, she stepped into the tavern with the intention of solving the conflict for justice and order. It didn't took long to find the supposed mad man, putting a gun inside the mouth of another man pressed against a wall while he was grabbed by his neck. The angel walked through the nervous witnesses, too afraid to act, and she approached the gunner

"Stop at once and hand over yourself to justice, or face the consequences of opposing the law!"

Some people shouted things among the lines of "What are you doing? You are going to get killed!" But once again, they were too scared to act

Arydun still strode through the city she was currently residing in, unknowing to where she was going or why since she currently had no goal. Soon though the Dragonette felt her tummy complain to her, she was hungry and she didn't feel like eating raw cow again.
Placing a slender hand on her stomach the blue haired girl glanced around for a human place to eat, eyes landing on a small Cafe the had a pleasant smell wafting from it's open doors. Grinning widely Arydun picked up her pace and was almost skipping over the the Cafe, eager to get some human food into her stomach as she found it very tasty.

Arydun got to the Cafe quickly and skipped into the small building, not looking where she was going of course. For an intelligent dragon she was rather clumsy and didn't tend to pay attention to where she was going. The Dragonette was looking all over the place and didn't notice herself almost run into a waiter until it was almost to late, when she did notice just in time Arydun quickly moved so not to knock the man over but instead her rear bumped into the back of a boy sitting at a table behind her. Realizing this Arydun quickly back up from him and bowed deeply in apology "I'm so sorry sure I wasn't paying attention to where I was going" She quickly said still bowing low to him.

Cassius sighed as he looked to the sniveling man, the hammer on the pistol already pulled back and his finger slowly pulling the trigger back before he stopped. Hearing the sound of a female ordering him to stop or face the consequences, what she probably didn't know was that he was a walking death threat. He promptly dropped the man and faced the girl, a small smile across his face. "So what now? You want to take me to jail? He asked, his pistol was still ready to fire so he put it on safety.

"Oh, you can't know how much I want to. However, that is only if a judge decides to, and for that you need to be judged if that man decides to sue you"

Bernabé turned just to see said man running through the door and dissapearing. When she turned back to talk to the gunner she saw a lizard beastman sneaking behind the guy and prepared to hit him with a chair leg. On one hand, she despissed trouble makers who though they could act the way they wanted because they have a weapon, but on the other he didnt, legally speaking, deserve being cowardly hit in the head from behind. Just when the lizard was about to swing, Bernabé pussed the gunner to one side and shouted a quick "watch out" just before the beastman swang the improvised bat and "accidentally" hit the face of the angel. She didnt feel any more pain than being slapped, but when she tried to talk...

"U aeage ao, s siideag"

Her jaw had been dislocated and her mouth was hanging open in a silly way. She raised one finger with her left hand while she tried to put the jaw back in place, just when the beastman was about to strike the gunner again

Cassius was a bit surprised at the female's actions, she pushed him out of the way to protect him from an assailant. His eyebrows raised a bit when she saw her jaw dislocate, that couldn't happen to him even if he was hit, his bones were too dense for anything to hurt him really. He was a little amazed when she saw her put her jaw back into place with no obvious reaction to pain. He raised a hand toward the beastman and grabbed his weapon, crushing it in his hand, he smiled at the beastman who looked at his destroyed weapon in fear. Cassius drove his fist into the chest of the beastman, let him roll around on the ground in pain. "Your breastplate is shattered, you might need medical attention.." Cassius smirked.

Ah yes, there was nothing like a nice drink of caffeine stuffed with a bunch of sugar to wake your system before classes start on a nice Spring morning. Sip. It was indeed something Ren could most definitely appreciate in life. Not often was he early enough to treat himself to this, after all. Si-

As he brought up the cup to his lips, something soft and bulbous pushed the back of his chair, causing a minor spill of his drink. Fortunately, he was drinking leaning somewhat forward rather than backward, so the force didn't end up causing his shirt to go brownish. Which was good, since he didn't want to deal with teachers and the 'disciplinary committee' reprimanding him for not keeping his uniform straight. The ESPer set his drink down and wiped his lower face off with a napkin. He registered some sound and movement off somewhere behind him and he turned, only to be faced with a rather embarrassed bluenette. Evidently she had been the one to bump into his chair.

Ren sighed and rubbed one of his temples. While it was true this girl was well-meaning and sincerely apologetic, she was also creating a scene. The tribal much preferred not to be the center of attention too much; it gave him headaches, especially when around other ESPers. Subtlety was more his game, of course. "Yeah... Don't worry about it. It's fine," Ren insisted, attempting to stop the young lady from attracting even more attention his way.

1624 woke in the dark, he felt around him and recognized the cold dented metal container he had spent the night in. He stood and made his way towards the outline of a door shown by the outside light, he pushed the door open and was blinded by light. He took a minute or so for his eyes to accept the contrast before stepping outside onto the hard metal deck outside. He felt the sea wind in his hair and began sneaking about the ship he had used to transport himself from Laranias to Elfteria, he saw crew members now and then and eventually found where they had been coming from. He saw three of them exit a door and he was able to peek inside for a moment seeing sets of lockers no doubt for the crew's clothing, 1624 looked down at his feet and flexed his toes. His mind wandered for a moment before he heard footsteps behind him, he spun around to see a man in an orange vest turn a corner and begin walking towards him. He saw that the man spotted him and the man began reaching for his radio but was stopped by a knee to the stomach then a quick upper cut to the jaw. 1624 cradled the man as he went down to ensure there was no sound, the man looked dazed but not entirely knocked out. 1624 looked at the mans feet covered by black boots then down at his own, 1624 unlaced the boots and pulled them off the mans feet and put them on his own. The man began regaining consciousness and 1624 pulled back his fist and punched the man in the head once again ensuring his silence. 1624 climbed container after container trying to find a view of the nearest landmass, he looked out to the starboard side and saw a large land mass and knew he had arrived, Elfteria. He climbed down from his perch and ran to the side of the ship and threw himself over the side landing in the water with a splash. The cold rush of the water shocked 1624 but only for a moment, he quickly began paddling towards shore and soon pulled himself onto the dock. He continued walking until he saw a truck pulling out of a nearby loading bay, he sprinted over to the truck and climbed on the back. After near an hour of traveling he found himself within a city and felt the truck coming to a stop and quickly hopped off. He walked away and soon found himself in an alley near a box he crawled inside the box and fell asleep, soon after however he was rudely awakened by someone pulling him out of the box. He snapped awake and pushed the man off him, the man reeled back into a group of friends.

"Lookey here," The man said laughing "This one's got a little bit of fight in him, We'll take that from him soon."

The man pushed an accomplice to the left of him towards 1624 and the man brought his fists up and took a swing. 1624 easily pushed the mans hand away and felt his instincts kick in. He grabbed the mans arm as it passed him and pulled it so that the man barreled forward, at which point 1624 put his knee in the middle of the mans chest hearing multiple bones break he pushed the man to the side and prepared for the next assailant. Two men approached this time one wielding a piece of pipe and he swung 1624 put his arm up and felt a minor pain in his forearm but it only stayed with him for a moment or so before he wrapped his arm around the pipe and pulled his back under his arm stopped the man with a flat palm to the chest. 1624 brought the pipe back around and hit the second man with it, he then turned the other way and landed on a knee. He swung the pipe at the first mans legs, they bent backwards and the man screamed in agony. 1624 stood as the man crumbled to his knees and let out a whimper, he looked up at 1624 with pleas of mercy in his eyes. 1624 stepped back and kicked the man in the face possibly shattering his cheek and nose. He heard sirens and looked towards the end of the alley he had come in through he saw an authority's vehicle and spotted a gun he ran away quickly down the alley taking turns eventually coming out onto a road he spotted a diner across the road from him and began running towards it at full speed. A passing vehicle ran into 1624 and his body tumbled over its hood and fell of on the other side of it, he hit the ground hard and looked around. He saw scrapes on his arms and that his hood was torn slightly, he looked around a ringing in his ears. He attempted to stand and managed to get to a knee but all the while blackness crept around the edge of his vision soon he collapsed and fell onto the cold hard ground.

The blue haired girl had a rather noticeable blush of embarrassment across her checks as she stopped apologizing, looking to the boy with her big green eyes that showed she still felt awfully terrible for spilling his drink.
Glancing around the Cafe she then noticed that there weren't even any more seats for her, the girl frowned as she turned back to the human boy and gave nervous smile "Since we have already been somewhat antiquated, would you mind if I sat at your table? I understand if you don't want me to it's just that there are no more seats now" She asked continuing her little cutely nervous smile. She didn't even wait for the boy to answer her as she sat down already, getting herself comfortable before turning back to him and to the drink he had. the Dragonette was sizing up the damage she had done to his drink and wondering if she should bother to get him a new one to make up for it.
"Oh I'm Arydun Untryr by the way" She then perked up as she held out her hand to shake his, a human customary she had noticed when one introduces themselves to another "Do you want me to buy you a new drink? I need to make it up to you somehow" She then asked him in a sweet voice.
Arydun wasn't really familiar with conversing with humans when outside of work, she only did work so she could buy clothes and food without having to hunt for them in her Dragon form, that and Dragons never had clothes only battle armour. outside of all the human work she has done over her long years the dragon has no real friends or no home. she was ok with that though, Maybe this boy could be her first friend.

"So annoying, I rather prefer getting shot."

Said Bernabé when she put the jaw back in its place. When she was about to resume her threats to the beastman, she saw that it had already been neutralized and was agonizing on the floor. And the one likely to be the cause was the gunner

"you might need medical attention..."

"No, I'm fine, but the lizardman might need it, looks like his breastplate is broken, hold a moment until I call for an ambulance."

Taking out her communication device from Pitover she was about to use it when she remembered that the Island Nation didn't have the technology to allow its use, so, with disappointment, she took out the phone that she was given by the ministry and called for medical attention. She also wanted to call the local police to arrest the gunner, but he had acted in self defense, so it still wasn't enough to get him arrested, maybe if the lizardman decided to sue. After looking at her wristwatch, she though that she could order something since her taxi likely had already left, so ignoring the agonizing screams of the beastman, she sat in a nearby table and said

"It hurts me so to say it, but I guess I should thank you for reducing this criminal. You would be a good law enforcer, we could use some strength such as yours in our Power files."

Bernabé took a menu from the floor and started to look at it, the lizardman tried to approach her black heels but he was greeted with a kick that sent it flying a pair of meters away, ceasing its groans and cries.

"By the way, gunner, could you tell me your name?"

Cassius joined her at the table and smiled a little bit, it was good to hear that someone would know how to put his skills to use, maybe being a law enforcer wouldn't be so bad. He had been ignoring the lizardman's screams and cries of pain, it was interesting to see her doing the same. Cassius got himself a menu as well and scanned it for a brief moment, maybe he could get that drink that got spilled or maybe just coffee. He held back a chuckle when she kicked the lizardman a good distance away, when his name was asked he.looked at her for a moment as if he was unsure. "My name is Cassius....Cassius Hale..." He said to her, introducing himself properly.

Bernabé looked at the man when he sit and joined her without being asked. Although uncalled, his company didn't bother the girl and instead seemed to be appropriate for the moment, since having dinner alone wouldn't be the most desirable thing.

"Hale... Are you from around here? Maybe you could help me decide what to ask for in this place, everything seems good."

Most of the people of the bar had left, and the only ones left or those who had returned avoided the area around the table were Bernabé and Cassius were sitting, except for the now unconscious lizardman, so they had quite a bit of intimacy. Some uncomfortable minutes passed until a pair of paramedics arrived and, after making a quick check, proceeded to hastily take away the beastman. A third one stayed there looking for someone to ask questions to (the name, age, and stuff related to the victim) but after having no responses she abandoned the place. Bernabé watched how the medic was leaving the place and then talked to Cassius

"One question, does this short of stuff happens often around here?"

Cassius looked up at her once she asked the question of his staying here, in truth he just hung around this place quite a bit. The cantina was a place to scout out contracts for mercenary work, as much as he didn't like it he had to make money somehow. "Well, as far as drinks go, if you want to stay awake for a few days go for the coffee, everything else is pretty good, too good actually, it's pretty early in the morning so try the breakfast.." He smiled at her, who knew, maybe this girl could help him out quite a bit. "I'm not really from around here, I kind of just got dropped here in a way..." He said, trying to stray from his answer, he wasn't going to bore her with the details of how he participated in war as the first super soldier. Cassius watched the medic for a moment and smirked, he didn't feel sorry for the lizardman that was unconscious "Well, usually, the people here have too much to drink and they get bold..." He said with a grin, gesturing at the destroy improvised bludgeon. "So, what happened when you were hit? It didn't seem to hurt you.." He asked her curiously, he ordered a simple burger once the waitress who still remained came up to the table.
