She'll be accepting six sheets, maximum, and there will be no CSes from Kaien, so that means, ideally, there will be three peeps from Doniaeth and three from Thaos. Also, she's ded srs about culling people if they fail to post within the week, so yeah. Keep that in mind, pl0x.

I was thinking of having my character be a swordsman from Doniaeth who joined a specialized vampire hunting squad. I can somewhat imagine him having these older more myth like medieval weapons, but also have some high tech stuff like you'd see in Blade.

Vampires are somewhat ran by nobility, secret police would getcho ass. They are citizens it's not illegal for them to walk around drinking blood.

That wasn't really made clear in the description you gave of Donians, you actually listed that as a problem so I assumed that vampire hunters were a thing XD

the result being golden-eyed citizens with a thirst for blood.

The fact that it's a disease is a problem. I'll get into details on Vampires/Paladins/Thao Badass People in the OOC.

Alright, sorry I didn't pick up that detail.

Can I at least say my character has a deep distrust of vampires since he was attacked by one and it ripped off his arm. He'd have a prosthetic and would only carry a silver weapon in that hand.

Essentially...think of it less as blood-sucking monsters who suck people dry...and more as rich nobles with a peculiar taste for blood, who have the money or the influence to get others to give them blood. At least, that's how I thought of it.

In Doniaeth, just keep in mind that the majority of weapons are more along the lines of machine-powered stuff, seeing how the Don kiddos don't have magic or ki or whatevar.

Ok so machine powered stuff...yea I'd probably use an old character sheet with a mech pilot with electrical attacks. That being said, I'd still like to keep that kind of, swordsman who doesn't trust vampires because his arm was ripped off background though.

He can be a vamp. Just keep in mind that he's rich.

I'm happy to play a Thao character if others are interested in Doniaeth. Character Sheet will be up soon for perusal, I just have to work out some rough edges. The way Thao has been described ability wise makes it seem a little Shonen-esque, and I'd like to steer away from that a little bit unless that's precisely what you're looking for.

Edit: Actually, after reading OOC I get more of a warring kingdoms vibe out of it. This is also something I can work with. :D

Thaos are pretty much Supermans, I think. The Thaos we had in the previous RP were all Bruiser Tanks who used fatass weapons and bashed heads, while also being reasonably fast.

I was thinking of making a Doniaeth marksman character. A gun specialist, if you may. He'll either be a soldier or a freelancer, depending on any further information that is given about the Donian military

Oh yeah, in case this wasn't clear in the OOC...

Warfare between the three nations right now is more based off small scale battles between elite fighters. The 'normal' soldiers are generally used more for shows of strength or for defensive purposes, in the worst case scenario of an invasion. Meaning that your character better have a good reason for being on the same battlefield as swordsman-Jesus.
