"No they don't know what we are or what we can do. Dear old dad told them some fairytale to explain why their son end with so many broken bones." Katherin told her. "I'm sure it was a good story but I have no idea what it was. I wasn't talking to father at the time. He thinks throwing money around will fit it, but I know that it won't."

Miranda shivered as she closed her eyes.
"I hate arguments. A deep discussion is one thing but arguments sometimes leads to fighting. Fighting is not the solution to any problem in my opinion. Usually one gets hurt or sometimes killed or not able to be able to move some body part..... I still wonder why my school burnt down. I lost more than my school......"

Broken bones, Ariana repeated in her head, shivering a bit. "He, uh...He sounds scary," she admitted. "Your dead, I mean--not your..boyfriend."

Ariana nodded a bit until she was asked to tell about herself. "Oh, uh, there isn't much to tell," she said awkwardly, rubbing at the back of her neck as she glanced around. "Just a..normal-ish girl, really. Uh, I have five older brothers and a twin brother. Normal parents...Things like that." She nodded assuringly.

"What is it like to have so many siblings?" Katherin asked eagerly. "Father plans to try for a heir in the next year or two if he finds a mate."

"So many brothers," Ariana corrected. "Totally different from having sisters, I'd imagine. And I don't know, it's..tough sometimes. Big shoes to fill," she admitted, frowning a bit. Then she shook her head and looked back to Katherin. "Heir? Like..a king or something?"

"Oh...That sucks!" Ariana exclaimed angrily. "And sexist--my family wouldn't do that to me." Though after a moment, she scowled. "Well, I guess I wouldn't know, really. I'm the youngest and the only chick anyway..."

Ryan began his walk around the academy as per his normal routine and turned the corner. Every step he took the ground froze a litlle where he stepped. He was patrolling the school to find someone to talk to as most people didn't like getting near him. The general area around him tended to be a bit chilly. "Hello! Is anyone around?" He called out as he usually does every five minutes on the dot. "I won't hurt you!" He followed up as he does every five and a half minutes. "I just want to talk to someone." He whispered quietly to himself which was a new one. " Please." He said just barely audible under his breath as he slumped down near a wall and began to think. The area around him began to slowly freeze as it usually does when he stays in an area too long.

In her best manly voice Katherin says. "When you marry you will change your name. I need a male child to carry on my name not someone else's."

Miranda noticed a guy that had slumped down against the wall. She wondered if he was all right or not.
"Excuse me but that guy seems to be not doing so good. I am going to go down and see if he is alright or not. If you would like, I'll meet you back here in a few minutes or you can find me just down the hall. And this is my room. I am rooming with a girl named Katherine."

Miranda wandered down the hall to speak with the guy that was slumped down against the wall. As she walked closer, she began to feel cold then noticed the frost that was building up around the guy. She walked slowly towards him since she did not know what to expect. Once she was in front of the guy, Miranda knelt down beside him.

"Hey there... Are you ok? My name is Miranda and I am a human but I think that you might be some kind of a supernatural? One that can make it frost or snow perhaps? " Miranda asked softly while trying not to bother the guy too much as she did the last supernatural.....

"That's stupid," Ariana declared, shaking her head. "I'm just as strong as my brothers--I mean, I'm the youngest. But I can hold my own against my twin and next oldest, almost. You being a girl shouldn't make a difference if you can beat 'em up." She smacked her fist into her palm, arm muscles flexing in excitement.

Sandra was flying around the campus with a sigh, she really had nothing to do these days. No one to harm either.

Once the girl left him be, finally, he retreated back into his little gave, enjoying the dark. However , he soon got bored. And bored demons aren't always the best things to have. He stood up and walked out, his sunglasses once again back on. Hearing talking, he walked the other way, looking around as he walke. He frowned then grinned slightly as he saw Sandra. He said," hello Sandra, scare many of the new students yet?"

"Pft, just because it's been one way for a long time doesn't mean it can't change. Human women couldn't even vote...a while ago, right? Then I guess they stood up and did something about it--you just gotta do the same thing," Ariana encouraged. "Just gotta earn that respect," she added matter-of-factly. This was easy for Ariana, having grown up around mostly boys and men. She learned to play rough at an early age.
