Once the girl left him be, finally, he retreated back into his little gave, enjoying the dark. However , he soon got bored. And bored demons aren't always the best things to have. He stood up and walked out, his sunglasses once again back on. Hearing talking, he walked the other way, looking around as he walke. He frowned then grinned slightly as he saw Sandra. He said," hello Sandra, scare many of the new students yet?"

Sandra turns his way and with a glum expression nods, she looks tired and sad. "Yes, almost all of them too. I can't have anymore fun here."

Then I guess they stood up and did something about it--you just gotta do the same thing," Ariana encouraged. "Just gotta earn that respect," she added matter-of-factly. This was easy for Ariana, having grown up around mostly boys and men. She learned to play rough at an early age.

"It isn't take simple." Katherin told her. "I honestly cant name another shapeshifter woman that has an interest in changing things. Even if I got the counsel to agree to the change my father would never agree to but me in charge of the business. So I am here to see if I can find something else that interests me. Do you know what you would like to do in the future?"

Ariana just frowned for a moment in response to what she saw as excuses. Then, at her question, she shrugged. "I dunno," she admitted. "Probably follow my brother's footsteps into the family business, doing something or other. My oldest--Abraham--is already in line to take over when Grandpa passes, though. But if I was the eldest, I'd be given the choice to take over."

"You're lucky to have that choose." Katherin said sadly. She figured the girl thought so was making excuses. Most people did. Katherin knew it was because they didn't know to have to face the challenge of changing hundreds of minds. Katherin would rather find something else then face the anger of the elders. "You sound very excited to be doing Something or another."

Ariana blinked and shrugged, brown eyes flickering away for a moment. "I guess I am," she agreed. "I don't know much else, though. Family is important to me, I guess."

"Of course it is." Katherin could easily see that Ariana has mentioned her family many times. it was easy to see that her family meant a lot to her. "That doesn't mean that you will be happy doing the same things they do. You have to find that one thing that excites you and go after it. That is what I have decided to do. I am going to find that thing that makes waking up and going to work something I look forward to."

Miranda noticed a guy that had slumped down against the wall. She wondered if he was all right or not. "Excuse me but that guy seems to be not doing so good. I am going to go down and see if he is alright or not. If you would like, I'll meet you back here in a few minutes or you can find me just down the hall. And this is my room. I am rooming with a girl named Katherine."Miranda wandered down the hall to speak with the guy that was slumped down against the wall. As she walked closer, she began to feel cold then noticed the frost that was building up around the guy. She walked slowly towards him since she did not know what to expect. Once she was in front of the guy, Miranda knelt down beside him."Hey there... Are you ok? My name is Miranda and I am a human but I think that you might be some kind of a supernatural? One that can make it frost or snow perhaps? " Miranda asked softly while trying not to bother the guy too much as she did the last supernatural.....

Ryan looked up surprised. " Oh hello there." He said as he quickly got up. "Was I blocking your room or something? If so sorry about that. The ice around here might take a while to melt." He quickly said as he looked around a bit nervously. " I'm Ryan. It's nice to meet you Miranda." He said as he held out a handshake, but then withdrew it because it might give her frostbite.

Miranda smiled as she held out her hand to shake but seeing that Ryan took his hand back she simply dropped her hand.
"It's nice to meet you. No this isn't my room. My room is just down the hall. I just thought that you might be hurt and came to check on you. Where is your room if i may ask? I am writing down who is where so that if I want someone to talk to or visit, I can find the room that I want. I am also looking for friends since I just arrive. It's always nice to have friends, don't you think?" she asked sweetly.

"Humans do not have many years to figure these thing out." Katherin reminded her. "I haven't decided but I am leaning towards counseling. In the couple of classes I took I barely had to study."

"Counseling, huh? Well if you like to help people, that makes sense," Ariana pointed out, looking around. "My brother--my, uh twin--would be good at that. I can't deal with whiners like he can..."

"That isn't very nice." Katherin scolded. "Just becouse some people need someone to listen and advice them through difficult situations doesn't make them a whiner or a weakling. Everyone hands things differently. There is no right way or wrong way to handle something."

"I you want a job that doesn't require you to deal with people I would suggest either writer or hermit. Otherwise you have to deal with them one way or another. And just because your not a counselor doesn't mean people won't come shinning to you." Katherin told her

"I can deal with people, I guess--I just won't listen to them bitch," Ariana assured with a shrug.

"Thank you so much. I would like to be friends but I am a bit chilly. It's not your fault and you can learn how to control your icyness besides I only have put a warm cloak then I shall be fine." Miranda smiled as she took the paper.
"Come down the hall with me to my room and I'll get my cloak, ok?"

Erik grinned," have you ever controlled someone's shadows? It's entertaining their reactions. I did it on my roommate, and she looked like she was about to have a panic attack." His grin grew on his face as he watched her and said," of chourse, you just would create an illusion. While I actually do it."

"Illusions are much better, you can kill without consequence in illusions. And besides, while you can only control shadows, I can control everything." Sandra huffed and crossed her tiny arms as she stomped the air in protest, then with a smirk she pulled Erik into an illusion.

They were now in a room full of only darkness, ghouls and monsters nipped at Erik and tugged at his clothes roughly, some bit at him as well. "See?"

He looked around, keeping his sunglasses on knowing that he would pay for it if he didn't. He could still see perfectly clear, like he was in a lit area for a human. He said," yes, but now I'm in my environment. And my knowledge that this is an illusion helps me. Besides, I can do this." He took the darkness that was around him, and manipulated it into a solid wall, blocking the monsters and ghouls from him. Due to this being an illusion, he actually created a wall of solid darkness in real life, having used the shadows from the surrounding area.

( I'm not to sure how that would cause an effect, so I went with that.)
