The wall dissipated, dividing back into the shadows that it was drawn from, even with no change of darkness or size of the shadows. He raised his eyebrows at her and said," really? So if I created a knife," he held out his hand, repeating the process of making a knife exactly like earlier," solidified it," he did so," then tried to cut you, it wouldn't effect you?" He raised his eyebrows at her, twirling the knife.

Miranda smiled as she took the paper. "Come down the hall with me to my room and I'll get my cloak, ok?"

" Oh uh sure." Ryan said as he followed Miranda to her room and waited outside for her to grab her cloak. He was unused to people being around him.

Miranda went inside the room quietly so she wouldn't disturb Ariana and Katherin to get her cloak. She smiled as she saw that the two were still deep in their discussion.

"I'm back. We could go for a walk if you would like to. " Miranda spoke as she put her cloak on.

"That would be nice." Ryan replied as he began walking around.

"Do you like animals? I do. I have a camera now and I'd like to take as many pictures as I can. Grandfather said that I could and I even can send him the pictures of my friends and stuff......." Miranda spoke as she walked next to Ryan.

"Uh, I don't know..Like, werewolves can't always choose when they change, right? And they don't like silver much," Ariana explained.

Katherin chuckled. "Shapeshifters are a little different. When we are young we can't control when we change. I still stuggle with changing in what i want to change into. Our emotions play a role in how much control we have. Anfd like werewolves we dont like silver much it makes changing harder."

Ariana blinked and nodded a bit, her finger tapping at her pocket. "I guess that makes sense--something like that would take practice, huh?"

"Practice definitely helps." Katherin told her. "The more you practice the less you hsve to think about it. I am still at the thinking stage. Sometimes I'll try for a squirrel and get a chipmunk. Or I'll try for an owl and get a hawk."

"Oh, well those aren't too different anyway, right?" Ariana asked, looking to the door.

"Well they are similar. They are in the same family." Katherin explained. "I often dont get the exact animal I want."
