Erik let out a hard sharp laugh. "Smarter then me? Uh huh, sure they are." He watched her, raising his eyebrows at her as she formed a cross with her fingers. He felt the familiar sharp pain in his chest at the sight of if, but his face didn't change. He said," if that actually worked, then I wouldn't be here by now." He chuckled, shaking his head. He hoped that if he could deceive her this one time, she wouldn't try anything else. Real wood crosses had more of an effect on him, but fingers only do so much.

Miranda was heading to a new school and a new life totally. She lost her parents in the fire at her old school because they were both teachers there. Her grandfather moved into the house and she was his ward. After everything was done and shopping finished, Miranda was sent to this new school where some students were normal like her while some are a bit different. She was not told how or why they were different, just that they were different is all.
She was bored and her new laptop was not amusing her at all. The chauffeur was not very talkative either. She had new everything she could ever want from her art supplies to the harmonium to a fancy vanity in a trunk to a whole trunk full of new clothes as well as so much more. She would rather had her parents back than all of this stuff and a stuffy old grandfather who sent her away to some new school where she would stay with other students……
Finally, the limo stopped and the door was opened by James. Miranda put her laptop away in her back pack before getting out.
“Thank you, James. What do I do next?” she asked in hope that he would come with her to the office.
“You have been instructed as to what to do, miss. Here is your luggage. I have it stacked and tied down. You will not have any problems, of that I am sure of. Now off you go.” James spoke kindly yet on the stuffy side as he stood there waiting.
Miranda simply nodded as she pulled the trunk with the vanity trunk and bedding chest towards the doors of the school. She did not look back but there was a slight fear on her face as she steadily walked forward.

Ariana eyed him and looked down at her arms. Then she opened her mouth, but stopped herself--she couldn't go blabbing about the family business. So she bit her tongue and dropped her hands at her side. "What about holy water then, huh?" she asked, a smirk tugging at her lips. "Can you even walk into a church? Or what if I threw a Bible at you?" Her eyebrows raised inquisitively.

His eyes narrowed at her and a deep, inhuman growl sounded from his chest. He stepped forward, his teeth visibly sharpening slightly and he said," how about little humans keep their pathetic mouths shut." His face got visibly darker, as well as the ground around him, shadows in the area seeming to stretch towards him.

"Master. Master. Master. Master!" The little imp yelled into his master's ear. Cal looked up from his book to look at the imp. "What is it? I was just reading about the Pentacle of Damocles. " He said closing the book. "There is a girl there! She could use your help! Help her!" The imp ordered. Cal would have dispatched him back to the Void for such lip but chose not too. He got up and whispered to his minion "Stay in the Second Plane. " He said before taking the girl's trunk. "Sorry but I can't let you carry that. Momma would have had a fit if I did. " He said his accent peaking out as he spoke. "So you new here? I'm Cal. Resident magic expert. Why yes I am a witch. This is my imp Bartameus. "He said pointing where imp should have been. There was nothing there. "Imp I summon thy to appear as I command. " He commanded quickly before the little red imp appeared. "Sorry master. Had to be sure. " The red imp said turning to the girl and bowing. "Yes this is all real. Any questions?" He asked as if all of this was normal. He figured the girl would faint dead away any moment now. "Who are you?"

Katherin wondered around outside. She watched the new arrivals. She studied them curiously. They didn't seem that different to her. They looked like her. They sounded like her. What made them different?

Ariana blinked, but again forced herself to stand her ground as the demon stepped at her. Her jaw dropped a bit as the atmosphere grew more ominous and dark. "Di-didn't I say back off?" she challenged, struggling to keep the quiver out of her voice. At her side, her hand curled into a shaky fist. She was so engrossed in his physical change that she was ignorant to the shadows growing at their feet.

Erik snapped," what did I say about keeping your mouth shut?!" His hand formed into a fist, darkness swirling around it, where he swung it towards her face, his own skin slowly growling darker as he progressed in his anger. The rage he felt was a common occurance to him, but he knew he would need to pull in soon to stop him from changing to his original form.

It happened quickly--her face exploded in pain as she stepped back. She blinked a few times, clearing her vision of the stars and felt what must've been blood running from her nose. Without so much of a thought, though, she reacted. As soon as the stars cleared, she yelled an obscenity at the demon before trying to return a punch just above his gut--could you even knock the wind out of a demon? Later, she'd regret only not hitting him first.

His other hand grasped her hand before it made contact, the grip almost shockingly strong. He then began to twist her arm. He stepped closer, if only causing more pain to her. He said," you humans are pathetic, and below us! You need to act in your place!" A darker look came over him, a feral grin forming on his face as his appearance slowly changed further.

Ariana gasped and squirmed uselessly against his grip, wincing as the pain ran up her arm. "Get off me, you fucking snake!" she hissed, her fear being..somewhat replaced with anger. She glared, her ego busted further. Part of her had actually thought she could take him on--she could her her twin calling her an idiot already.

"Master! Massive amounts of demon energies! Come on!" Bart yelled running off. Cal placed a quick spell to make her trunks follow her before running off after his imp. The eventually reached an area and found a young woman and a partially transformed darkness demon. Lovely. "Let the girl go. I know thy weakness, darkness demon. Especially with you partially transformed. Lumi igni. " He called out and a ball of light would appear in the area. It would be much brighter than before. Enough to wound the demon a bit . He figured that would be enough to make the demon let go and maybe attack him instead.

Erik sneered and was about to shove her back when the second person arrived. He looked at him and began to speak," are you from-" he then grimaced and turned away from the light, covering his eyes slightly with his arm. Darkness naturally drew itself tighter around him, struggling against the extra light. He spat, his voice strained," you are just as pathetic as the humans, to help them. They have only one good use."

Ariana stepped away from him as he pulled away, her hand rubbing at her wrist. She squinted against the light for a moment, then found herself averting her gaze as well as she looked to the wizard of some sort. She offered an angry kick at the demon's shin before quickly moving to the witch's side. "Oh, put a damn sock in it, you monster," she snapped at the demon, suddenly feeling confident with a magic user there.

Cal had to try and find some middle ground here. With a wave of his hand the light vanished. It was a bit taxing to produce enough light to keep a demon back with no circle to help. He also hated to hurt higher demons. "Perhaps I am. Just thought I should help and stop you from murdering her. " He watched her kick him. "Please don't anger the Demon. They are known for being ever so stable. Most of the higher classes of demons are not. He is one of the more powerful ones. A Darkness Demon, right ?" He asked the demon. "Can you change to you human form? I'm Cal by the way. Resident witch. " He told the girl with a smile. Bart was sitting on his shoulder looking bored.

Flint looked as the window was fixed before his eyes "Impressive" He said as he nodded in agreement with himself.
"Ha! I told you windows are easy! Now, are you going to take me up on my special offer?" Sandra chimed.
"I have heard enough stories not to do any sort of magical deals, it just ends up with bad things happening so no thank you, you can keep your wishes."
Flint said as he walked to the window and tapped at it to see if it was real. He then turned back to the odd girl on the bed, picking up his book and placing it on the shelf. The room was as good as new again.

"Such a bore." Sandra said, rolling her eyes and smiling at him. "So, why don't we talk? I mean, I already know all about you but you need to know about me!"

Flint watched as Sandra rolled her eyes to her dismay. "Hey maybe in the future when I know you wont steal my soul and send me to eternal damnation" He joked
"So, why don't we talk? I mean, I already know all about you but you need to know about me!" Sandra Said smiling.
"wait.. how do you know about me.." Flint said a little fearful about HOW much she knew.
"Well I don't know... you haven't even said your name yet " Flint said softly "and I guess you could just tell me some stuff..." Flint wasn't very good at this.

Erik slowly removed his arm from over his face as the light disappeared, glaring angrily at the magic user. He barely glanced at Ariana as she kicked him and growled angrily at them both. He watched Cal for several moments after he asked, before his skin lost the dark look, his teeth returning back to their normal shape. He has been only partially transformed, knowing that he couldnt change completely due to how light it is without any witch light. He said," don't try to flatter me, witch. Your alliegance is clearly with the pathetic humans." He glared at her, arms folding across his chest.
