Gunpowder and crossbows have existed for a long time, true, but by that logic steam engine technology is over 2000 years old. In the year 1000 crossbows weren't the norm on the battlefield, and gunpowder was only a thing in the far east.
Anyway, I'm not trying to get into a historical pissing match here over who knows more than who; I'm just saying that I'd like crossbows and such to be available.
Neither am I, and I'm sorry if it seemed like I was. I was just saying that those things were around and not around at that point.
Anyway, yes, I'll allow Plate and Crossbows, but under no circumstance is gunpowder allowed.

I don't really mind any technololy level. On the subject of magic. I think it's fine as long as it is not overly powerfull. One mage should not be able to lay waste to an entire city or kick the butt of giant armies on their own :)
I thought not. I'm wondering how magic would be incorporated. We could have a RWBY-like system, where magic comes from a particular substance, or maybe more along the lines of Demonata, where powerful magic is restricted to areas with a lot of magic already in the air. Or we could keep it traditional, with spells coming from the person themselves.
