Liam woke up early that day.He jumped out of bed excited. He hastily got dressed having at first put is shirt on backwards. After this was fixed he made his bed and hurried to the kitchen. He had a small breakfast before grabbing his bag. Once he was ready he walked over to the Alakazam that was seated on the couch. This Alakazam had been partnered with Liam's dad for years. Liam pictured Prof. Oak's lab from a picture he found and the Alakazam teleported him there. The door opened and a young man with a sketch pad opened the door to invite him in. He led Liam to Prof Oak. Liam chose Squrtle, who he nicknamed "Hydro". Oak gave him a Pokedex (Kalos Version), Hydro's Pokeball as well as some empty Pokeballs.

Charles North, who preferred to be called Chuck, had just arrived in Pallet Town after taking a Plane from Lumiose City to Cinnibar Island, and then taking a boat from there to Pallet Town. He made his way to the Pokémon Lab, where he saw another boy around his age and Professor Oak. When asked what starter he would like, he requested a Squirtle, whom he named Zeni, since the shell on it's back looked like the old coins known as Zeni.

Liam saw the kid and introduced himself with a handshake.

Chuck introduced himself as well, and shook his hand. "So, what did you pick as your starter?" he asked.

Liam informed him he took a Squrtle as well

"Nice, did you nickname yours too?"

"Yup," Liam called out his Pokemon. "This is Hydro"

"This is Zeni." he said, sending his out.

Alexa hopped out of bed in the morning. She tried on different outfits, but went with a flowery dress that fit with her yellow hat. She said goodbye to her mom and dad, and ran out the door. Swiftly, Alexa dashed around the town, trying to find the lab. She asked a young man for directions, his name was Gareth. "Why would I tell a crybaby like you?" Gareth taunted. Alexa, feeling insulted, walked off. She was not paying attention and ran into the building. She stumbled in, looking for the starter she wanted. Alexa cried out tears of cuteness looking at Squirtle. "Do you want that one?" Professor Oak asked her. Alexa squealed, "Yes please! Can it be named Kawaii?" "Squirtle's been rather popular..." Oak said to himself, handing Alexa Kawaii in a Pokeball. Alexa walked out to find her mom wanted to give her a Pokeball or two. She thanked her mom and ran off to catch the cutest pokemon in the Pokemon Universe.

"Wow, that was fast." Chuck said, watching the girl come and go.

Alexa came out in shock. "Oh... hi." she said, trying to be nice, "Did you get a Pokemon too? I think a lot of people have been getting Squirtles."

"Smell ya later," Jason said as he slammed the back of the cab door. He had finally arrived in pallet town, the first stop on his forced pokemon journey. He sighed as he strolled to the front of the lab, where he saw two kids, about ten, standing in front of the lab.
"Sup kids." He said as he looked down at the two. "Here for your poke's as well?"

Liam stated that he was the first one here and so far everyone has.

"Yeah, we already got them." Chuck said to Jason. To Alexa he said "Yeah, we both got one. This is Hydro, and Zeni." He gestured to first Liam's, and then his own. "And I'm Chuck and this is Liam."

Alexa let Kawaii out of her Pokeball. "Here's Kawaii!" she said, hugging her Squirtle. Man, if that kid picks Bulbasaur, we're dead. Alexa thought nervously.

Liam held out his hand.

"Well, time to see what he's got for me." Jason walked into the lab at a lax pace. A few moments later, Jason came out, holding a bulbasaur.
"Boys and girls, I give you Brobasaur!"

"Wish granted." she muttered softly to Kawaii. Then, she yowled, "Kawaii, high-five!" The little Squirtle tackled her hand, which was good enough for her.

"Cute." Chuck said.

Liam went to Chuck and challenged him to a battle.
