Kyou can not help but find the angel particularly adorable as he whips around to face him. His delight grows at the angel speaks until at last it puffs up and seems to try and drive him politely away. He barely manages to keep hold of his peaceful smile as he murmurs, “Well aren't you the most adorable thing ever. . .” He chuckles to himself before responding to the angel. “My name is Kyouku Roku, Kyou for short. And you?” His eyes glint lightly but nothing threatening.
Instead of the response he wanted, Aoba was told he was. . .adorable? Well, that was definitely new. “Kyou. . .” The angel echoed, then looked back towards the crowd. Dani and Kuro were still handling whatever happened, so Aoba was left alone. For a few moments, Aoba simply stared at him, unsure if he should just give him his name. However, for some odd reason. . .Kyou didn’t seem all that threatening. Scary, sure, but he wasn’t trying to be. “. . . I’m,” Again, he thought over that decision before standing up a little straighter. “Aoba.”
'Yes, yes, quite adorable. . . .' “Aoba hmmm? Quaint little name you have there. . .” His smiles stays in place and he takes a step closer, looking towards the commotion. He adopts a slightly pained look. “I know I am in danger here, but, some things. . .” He looks back to Aoba with an interested expression. “Are worth the risk.” He holds up his hands, showing he means no harm. “I'm not going to hurt you, nor do I see to take you away from your gallant protectors. I'm just. . . .Curious. . . .That's all.”

The towns folk begin dragging the drunk man off but Dani's anger has now shifted to Kuro. He hisses wildly and attacks the taller male leaving Kuro no choice but to try and subdue him, and unfortunately in his current state the younger brother is too afraid of snipping his wings off on accident to use his collar. So instead the two devolve into a wrestling match.
The fallen angel adopted a confused expression as Kyou spoke. Why would anyone be insane enough to take such a risk? “Curious about what?” Now, Aoba was curious- if only to figure out why Kyou was curious. There was nothing the angel could offer him, and there certainly wasn’t anything of interest Aoba could tell either. The step closer made him tense again, however he quite nervously stood his ground. They still had food to take home, and he couldn’t just leave it. “I hope you know that, um, can’t give you anything. . .If you’re curious about me.” Who knows, Kyou could have been curious about the demon brothers.
'I love that look, oh so much. . .Makes me think of me at a younger age. . . .' “Why about you fallen one! You are quite the rarity. You've been on earth for. . .How long now?” His little head wings flutter gently beneath his hood.
’Of course. . .That is a rarity after all.’ Aoba sighed and rubbed his arm as if it were hurt. “I don’t actually know. . . If I’m not mistaken it’s been a couple of weeks.” He looked over at his graying wings as if to confirm his guess. “Yeah, a couple of weeks.” The fallen angel caught sight of the small movement under his hood, and once more gave a curious look, however he didn’t question it, still unsure of whether to trust him.
He nods gently, noting the glace a the sides of his head. 'I still can't make them sit still when I'm excited. . .' He opens his hands, holding them palm upwards. “You can give me more than you think, and without betraying either God or your knights. All I seek, is knowledge.” Slowly he reaches up and pulls back his hood just far enough to reveal his headwings to the little angel. “I'm just a trainee after all, I have no agenda beyond the one I had in life just yet.” He pulls his hood back forward and nods towards the combating demons kicking up a healthy sized dust cloud. “They could crush me in an instant. I can't even create portals myself yet. I am. . . .Quite at your mercy once they are done fighting.” His eyes widen slightly making himself look quite pathetic. “I just. . . .Like knowing things. . .”
Mumbling more to himself, Aoba adds his own input. “Well, I wouldn’t be standing here if I hadn’t betrayed Him already. . .” His hands crossed, but he did listen, oddly enough (to him at least), relaxing some. Kyou seemed pretty honest about his wishes, and he didn’t seem like he wanted to attack him either. The sight of the wings did peak his interest, causing Aoba to lean forward and look a bit closer. However once he hid them, Aoba stood back again. As Kyou continued, the realization that he was pretty much in between Kyou’s life and death made his eyes widen in surprise. Not only did he not want that sort of responsibility, but the look the demon gave him managed to soften him- just as Dani’s cute looks always did. There was a small sigh, before Aoba scratched his head. “Well. . . what do you want to know?”
From above Fenrir is on the verge of passing out, the persistent knocking at his door going completely unnoticed as he stares into the mirror, his nose bare centimeters from the surface. He doesn't even have enough breath to hiss that Aoba needs to pull his head out of the clouds and call over the protector demon now, before it's too late.

Casting his eyes once more at the dust cloud, now filled with yelp and yips, he sighs softly, speaking quietly. “Oh, I am sure you thought you were doing the right thing. After all, angels are all so good, I am sure it was just a mistake. . .” His gaze shifts over to the angel, looking for any indication about what Aoba thinks of his assessment before clapping in delight and moving another step closer so the space between them is only a few paces. “Oh thank you, you are too kind.” He smiles warmly. “First off, how old are you? Are those wings normal sized for one of your side and age? How were you judged? Do you have a liaison? Do you hope to returns one day?” Now that Aoba has agreed to answer his questions Kyou finds them tumbling out faster than he can think, his eyes dancing with joy.
Aoba’s eyes narrowed for a bit when Kyou sided with him about his wrongdoings. It seemed a bit suspicious, but the moment faded as Kyou clapped. Again, the demon moved closer. Aoba wasn’t sure if he was comfortable with having Kyou come any closer, but considering he didn’t feel the urgency to take off Aoba didn’t move away. Surprisingly, in mere seconds, question after question was fired at him. At first, Aoba shied away from them, before giving a soft, nervous smile. “Um. . . You’re going to have to slow down. . . I can’t answer questions that fast.” A small laugh escaped him as he mulled over the questions that were raised. “A lesion? Why would I have a lesion?” That one stuck out the most to him. Then, Aoba looked at his wings, even stretching one out a bit. “I’m kind of small. . .but they’re average sized yes. As for my age?” Aoba blinked and ran fingers through his hair. The question made him actually pause and think. No one really ever asked him that question. “I’m. . .probably older than you that’s for sure.” It was the best he could come up with at the moment. “Once I figure out exactly, I’ll let you know.” Aoba couldn’t help the small laugh. Once more, he pondered the questions that he had been asked, only to come to two that made his smile fade. Remembering his judgement, Aoba rubbed his shoulder as his wings recoiled at the thought of being tossed to earth. “It. . . It was a trial. Well, it was really a bunch of people staring at me while one person said my crimes.”
Remembering it all saddened his demeanor some, but he continued. “Afterwards, there was a judge and. . .well long story short they took my powers and dropped me down on Earth. Quite literally actually.” ’It was pretty painful. . .’ Towards the last question, Aoba looked at the sky. “I don’t think I’m allowed to go back. I’m pretty sure they won’t let me. Not after this.” Aoba turned his head to the chaos to refer to what he was talking about. Though he never actually gave his own opinion towards the question, still unsure of it himself.
'Ah, so you do have a mind in there' he thinks happily as he sees the suspicion glinting in the smaller male's eyes[/i] “Yes, of course, of course, please forgive my rudeness” he says placatingly, bowing slightly. He clasps his hands hopefully in front of him, his intense eyes locked on the smaller male. He is careful to remain still, seeing that his sudden burst of questions has done little to endear the angel to him. However as the questions slowly get their answers he can feel the thrill inside him grow with every passing moment.
“A liaison, here on earth to get you settled.” he explains quietly, not wanting to interrupt Aoba's flow. He listens, his face calm, but on the inside his body building up happily at the fount of new information. He can't hold back a chuckle about the angel not knowing his own age but nods understandingly. “That would be wonderful, that you. . .” he murmurs softly, still trying to be careful about messing up the angel's responses. When it comes to the trial Kyouku has to bite his lip from adding on several more questions about it, not the least of which about how he makes it sound like he was unable to defend himself.
'Even humans are allowed to do that. . .' he muses, but he can tell the question is hard for the angel so he holds his tongue. Not out of actual concern for the small feathered one but from his years of practice at doing precisely this. He can recognize when pushing a point will have the opposite effect to what he wants. He did however comment about the falling to earth. “When they mean fallen, I guess they really mean it. . .That must have hurt. . .” 'And left a huge crater. . .I wonder if I'll be able to examine it. . . .' His gaze follows that of the angels for a moment before returning to Aoba's face. “Awww,” he says softly. “I doubt there's anything a sweet little thing like you could do that's truly unforgivable if that God up there is anything like the way they tell it. . .” He looks towards the scuffle. “Even hanging out with the sons of Satan. . .”
~*~*~*~*~
For their part the scuffle between the brothers has moved from all out brawl to a more subdued hissing and snapping, most of the locals have either wandered off, freaked out by the weirdness, or have taken up cheering in a slightly inebriated battle chant. Kuro can feel a faint niggle in the back of his mind, telling him something is wrong, but as Aoba has not called out for help, and is still where he left him, the youngest son is more concerned with taming his brother back into a manageable state then bothering with whatever is pestering him.
Aoba quieted to listen to his responses and then followed them up with his own. “Oh, you meant a home here. Yes, I was given a home.” He nods and looks in the direction of it. “I was given a really nice farm actually.” Aoba said with a nod before once more rubbing the back of his head. “Mhm. I didn’t really believe they meant it literally either.” His gaze went back to Kyou with a curious expression. He wondered why he was so set on taking Aoba’s side of the matter. Normally, demons would have probably laughed or teased, right? Well, little did it matter. Aoba merely shook his head. “I don’t know. . . As you said, and as everyone made clear, fallen angels are a rarity.” He didn’t bring up what he had actually done in order to get in trouble because he was sure that if Kuro didn’t want to tell Dani, he probably didn’t want to tell a stranger either. As it grew quiet, Aoba looked at Kyou rather shyly. “So, any other questions?”
The demon rolls his eyes. 'So not what I meant, but that just goes to show the education of angel in language isn't as high a priority. Still useful information' Determining to ask later about the liaison thing, perhaps explaining what he meant, Kyouku listens quietly, his trap like mind locking away each little tidbit, including the shifts in mood, the gestures, the eye movements. Every little thing gives him clues about the angel, and every little bit thrills him more and more. He adopts a sympathetic expression, the idea of falling so far actually making his own head ache a bit.
At the angel's question he looks down at his hands, smiling to himself. “Yes, yes, rare indeed.” he murmurs to himself before looking back at Aoba. “Why yes, I have man. . . .Many questions. I am a very curious man after all. . . .” He smiles softly, shifting from one foot to the other. “I don't mean you any harm, I promise, I just like knowing things that others do not, and while they,” he gestures to Kuro and Dani, both of whom seem to be calming down, “have all the time in the world to get to know you, and as the sons of Satan, and born demons, they will always know more than I. . . .” His gaze once more becomes a little pathetic. “I only have so long to learn. . .”

Finally, the two brothers enter a stand-off, each one standing ridged and staring across the five foot gap between them, their bodies tense and ready for action. However, in the minute moment of still they both finally sense the foreboding presence off in the direction of an angel and without hesitation they break out of their stares and dart through the crowd towards the two figures engaged in a perfectly peaceable conversation. Kuro's body is thrumming with energy. Had he a heart, it would be beating furiously. 'I can't believe I didn't notice it before! How could I let it get so close?!' He pauses a step away from the demon, tugging Dani's leash to make sure he didn't transform in front of the crowd or anything. His glare is cold enough to wither flowers, and Kyou freezes, his body seeming to shrink in on itself as he stares up into that terrifying stare, his eyes opened wide in fear.
Dani feels the tug and manages to restrain his temper, coming between Aoba and the offending demon, his hiss escalating to a growl deeper sounding than one could imagine coming out of such a small body. Kyou does his best not to scamper off, knowing not only would it do no good, but that if he did he would look guilty of doing something nefarious when really, he hasn't done anything wrong. He in no way stands his ground however and after the initial shock he lowers himself carefully to his knees, keeping his eyes on Kuro who looks ready to take him behind the building and ripping his head off. He does however spare a single glance at Aoba, catching the angel's eyes just long enough to give him a pleading look before looking back up at the murderous demon above him.
