Aoba didn't know what to say to Kuro for a moment. 'That's. . . That's pretty extreme. To owe your life to me? You do realize you'll be wasting your time with me? I'm only going to be a burden you know. . .' The fallen angel didn't realize he was giving a concerned and slightly confused look. He didn't live off of repayment. A good deed was a good deed- although this deed was questionable in the eyes of both parties of demon and angel. He merely sighed and nodded. "I guess I won't be able to tell you otherwise then. And even if you don't want it, I'll probably thank you anyway." As he spoke, there were occasional winces and twitches when it hurt a little more than he could ignore. Aoba watched the blood start to form and moments later cleared by Kuro's magic.
"That's really not necessary. You don't really need to-" Aoba shook his head quickly as Kuro spoke of giving up his freedom. "That's pretty- pretty extreme. And you're not some pet..." Then it occured to him what the priest was talking about when he spoke of sad puppies on the roof. "I don't want to be a burden. You probably have many other things to do- like the priest." His attempts to deter Kuro's plan was thrown off when he pulled out a feather. Not just any feather, but his feather. His nose scrunched up a little seeing that it was still black. Staring at the feather, he ran fingers over his arm and nodded confirming that it was okay. "Thank you." He said again before listening to Kuro. "Well, I didn't know they'd still be connected after corruption." He nodded, learning something new.
His expression turned into confusion as Kuro put it back in his pocket. But before he could say anything, Kuro was moving. The thought of the crater made him scowl a little. 'That really did hurt... I guess I pushed it to the back of my mind...Probably because I went unconscious.' The sudden pressing on his back made him yelp in pain. "Yes." How on earth did he miss that? Aoba must've really been preoccupied with other things. His wings folded tighter to hide the spot that Kuro pressed against. "Yes. That hurts." He scooted away some, not wanting him to mess with it. 'I must've fell on rocks... Well, the crater is kinda obvious.'
To focus on something else besides his injury, he spoke again. "Why do you have my feather still? Well... at all." Once again, confusion fell on his face.
