"One down!" Torie shouted as he ran past Rachel's limp unconscious form, though he did turn his head a bit and muttered: "...sorry lady...". Might as well be polite, considering he DID have to get help to beat her; but now it was his turn to help out Blaze. Even if her opponent seemed like a bit of a badass...He didn't know if Iggy needed help, but if they could wrap this up quickly, they could give him back up. How long could this take anyways? It's two-on-one, and just the three of them decimated a vast majority of their forces.

When the Iron-guy lifted off by...turning his leg into a club, Torie realized that this guy's iron was probably plenty strong enough to shatter his barriers without difficulty; but, that didn't mean that he couldn't pull a trick out of his sleeve. He just had to wait for the right opportunity...

Without a moment of thought, Blaze unleashed a Phoenix screech at Kinzoku. If this was getting serious, she wanted him either unable or limited in his ability to fight back. His ears would burn and his vision would blur from the sound wave. But, veterans of magic battles should be able to nullify the effects, or at least remain focused. As the scream wave hit, Blaze would use the time she hopefully gained to focus into preparing an advanced spell. All she needed was time...!

A bright red magic seal flared up from under the teenager's feet, the insignia of a bird with wide-spread wings was covered by the fire welling up around her. The flames seemed more concentrated around her legs, indicating that was where the base of the attack should come from. A flaming kick would be far too weak and unsatisfying for Kinzoku. He wanted to play - so he could play with phoenix talons!

"C'mon, focus... Just a few more seconds!"

Reaver shrugged a shoulder rather boredly at Igneel Dragneel's speech. If anything had ever held less meaning, ...seriously, what the heck was this kid on about!? Magic was power - power should be used as such, not for mundane things like justice or protection... The nature of magic was darkness. Reaver knew this best, and he was more adept in this element than anyone else he knew of - he loved being a symbol...

"How disappointing. You're just a weak-minded child after all," Reaver spat, his scythe coating in a murky black energy before he swiped it at Iggy, the darkness magic launching toward the boy. Believing it not to be enough, the dark guild master began stepping eerily towards his opponent. There wouldn't be any gloating or boasting... He wanted Iggy dead.

As the phoenix screech hit Kinzoku grinned. "Now this is what I'm talking about. The kind of opponent who can hold their own even with a little bit of magic power left." He grinned. The screech had some effect, but not as much as she'd probably wanted. "Now let me give you a little advice. You're in a guild. Not a dark guild. A real guild. Things will be harder for you because you don't do the whole killing thing right? And you've got guild mates you can actually trust right? Use 'em." Kinzoku hadn't always been the man who could kill with no problem he was now. So when he met someone like Blaze who he thought had potential to be better who couldn't help, but lecture a bit. Something about these brats drudged up a little about his past. He couldn't help himself. "Iron Dragon's ROAR!" He shouted as he approached her choosing not to wait until he got there to attack. In a sense, he was hinting that Torie could help her. Even if it meant his own defeat. not like he had any reason to actually fight for the members of the dark guild.

Igneel's face was serious. He raised his fist as the wave approached and brought it down a little before impact. Dust and smoke picked up as the wave hit. In the smoke it looked as if Iggy had been destroyed by the wave. But he wasn't. He'd punched a piece of the ground making it move upward as a sort of shield. Out of the smoke he jumped up into the air. His hands were raised above his head and what looked like a very large sword began to form. "Fire Dragon's Buster sword!" He called out swinging downward. The sword had destructive force to break through the concrete and such which made up the castle. but aside from that it had explosive power. This wouldn't be as easy as Reaver probably thought.

"That advice sucked! Eat this!" Blaze yelled as she finally began to unleash her charged spell. The idiot went straight for the roar, leaping and throwing her leg at it. The flames that surrounded her in an aura suddenly left her and rushed forward in the form of a large claw that pushed against the barrage of iron. Blaze landed on two feet and immediately started to back away from the clashing magics, puffed out and unable to cast magic again any time soon. The talon of flames began to waver, letting a few shards of metal slip through and slice along her skin or dig deep into her body.

"...Well, not the way I envisioned going out..." The girl laughed nervously, lifting her arm to see it dripping with blood. Still, Torie was in reserve - and not knowing that made Blaze think this is where she would meet an untimely end as a human cutting board. The pain made her tear up; she didn't seem to give much of a damn about the whole 'dying' side of things. There was still time to move, right? So why sit there...?

Oh god damn it, if I meet Iggy in heaven or hell some day I'll never hear the end of this...

The moment Reaver saw the flaming blade coming down on him, he summoned a large wave of raw darkness magic to make contact with it, using his free hand. As the Fire Dragon and the Darkness Adept clashed it made the whole castle shake. Then came the sword's explosive property, ending the clash and sending Reaver sliding back across the floor. The deranged young man looked at his burned hand and tilted his head curiously, before he began to approach Igneel again. He was torn between disappointment and astonishment. How could someone with so much power just... ignore it?! The boy could have anything he wanted, yet here he was spouting the usual nonsense that Guild Mages spouted.

"Naive, pathetic, blinded, ...yet not weak. You are an odd existence to me, Dragon Slayer," Reaver murmured across the hall as the second band of smoke disappeared. He quite simply gathered a sphere of darkness magic in his free hand and fired it at his opponent. It wasn't very strong, but then it wasn't made to impact. As the sphere got within range, it would leap after Iggy in the form of a snake. If it did catch him, it was going to constrict him. All the while, the Dark Mage continued slowly stepping forwards.

"BARRIER MAGIC: ICARUS..." Torie held his hands over his left leg, and a series of panels started forming, more and more rapidly, acting like a shield covering over his leg, and, as he covered his shin, he kicked off the ground, exerting as much magical energy as he could to rapidly generate panels to shoot him up, like a stilt had just been created out of nowhere, bringing him above Kinzoku's height.

Once the panels of the "stilt" started to vanish, Torie started to feel a little weaker; he'd exerted himself beyond his 30ft. limit, to the point where he must have wasted quite a bit of energy. "To hell with it...NOBODY'S EVER TIPPED THE SCALES WITHOUT DOING SOMETHING BEYOND STUPID!" he thought as he moved as best he could, and, with what strength he could muster, he formed a shaped barrier around his body, crossing his arms into an x within it. "CRASH!" was all he said as the solid, meteor like construct sealed around him, turning him into a veritable meteor of barrier panels; or one big moving target if Kinzoku could turn up fast enough.

As the flames hit Kinzoku grit his teeth. He'd managed to cover himself in iron dragon scales. Still the attack was pretty impressive. "Fuck..." He would then mumble as he landed on the ledge of the roof Blaze was on. "Now you're..." He paused. Dammit... The other guys was coming now. And the "meteor" made impact. Kinzoku went straight down off the roof to the ground. "GAH!" He let out a booming screech of pain upon colliding with the ground. Dust kicked up shrouding him and Torie. However, unlike Rachel who'd been knocked out Kinzoku was still conscious. "Fucking shit... THose were some good attacks." He mumbled as he forced himself to his feet. He staggered a bit, but managed to stand in the end. "Probably would have been better if you combined 'em." He spoke to the two. It must have been quite the shock that he could even get up after that. He looked at Blaze and then Torie. "Make sure you too get stronger and show me something even better next time." He turned and began walking away. "I'm done playing with this stupid little dark guild." He wouldn't fight anymore. He was just going to leave now. It would only be stupid to attack him while he was leaving and draw this out. Especially when those two were so weak.

"You can say what you want. But there's no way I'm gonna lose this fight!" Iggy shouted as he charged at Reaver once more. He attempted to leap over the dark sphere, but to his surprised it transformed and bound him. "Dammit!" He shouted before his fire flared up around him. He grit his teeth trying to burn the darkness off. "I'm going to beat you down and turn you over to the magic council myself." He said forcing himself back to his feet.

Blaze watched with a puzzled expression as Kinzoku began to leave, hopping down from the roof to quite casually make his way out of town. He still had power, he was still able to fight, ...but didn't he have any 'fight' left in him? It could be ended right here, and then he'd go inside and help his boss fight Iggy. But he didn't. He just... walked away. The fiery-haired girl lay flat on her back, breathing heavily after exerting so much magic power so quickly, and without proper preparation beforehand. Through.. some kind of mercy, she was still alive, and so was Torie. But maybe without Torie's surprise attack, ...whatever! Being alive was all that mattered at the time.

The kid grunted as she picked her tired self up, resting on her elbows as she looked up at Torie. Saved by the newbie...

"My hero..." She smirked and held her arm up lazily, "Gimme a hand, would ya'?"

Reaver watched with a mixture of genuine interest and disappointment as the Bind Snake spell began to burn off. "Ah, so you can burn magic itself. Impressive - but I'm still going to kill you," the young man said as he twirled the scythe, charging at Igneel to turn this into a melee fight again. Before he made a swipe for his opponent's head, he would throw an orb of darkness magic at his feet. There wasn't really a use for it - he just hoped Iggy's curiosity would get the better of him, to take his attention away from that fatal strike coming his way.

Torie simply fell on his ass when Kinzoku got up, and, just kinda watched as he walked away...too tired to try any more magic, and too focused wondering why he was just...leaving. If he was this strong, to take Icarus Crash without even caring...couldn't he have beaten Blaze at any time? ...He probably would have smacked him out of the barrier too, if he wasn't focused on Blaze...but right now, he knew none of that mattered.

Picking himself up off the ground, he quickly felt a sharp pain in his left arm...yup. Dislocated. Didn't matter now...he needed to help Iggy. Well, looks like that'd have to wait...Blaze got hurt worse than he did, and she was more experiencecd and stronger than him. Laughing weakly, his helmet fell off his head as he walked over to Blaze, taking hold of her arm and slowly pulling her up. "I...guess we won then..." was all he could say, unsure if even that much was true.

Iggy smirked as the snake burned away. And now Reaver was attacking again. Of course, for a moment it looked as though he was still off guard. "Open! Gate of the Ram! Aries!" He said quickly as he pulled out one of the golden keys. It only took a matter of seconds for Aries to appear. "WOOL WALL!" Just a quickly a defense wall of pink wool appeared in front of Iggy and his spirit to block both of the dark mage's attacks. "Oh yeah... Did I forget to mention? I never fight alone." Iggy smirked as he leaped over the wall in a literal blaze of glory hoping to have caught Reaver off guard.

"That's all Aries!" He called out to his spirit while in mid-air. "Ah! Right... Sorry..." Aries spoke quickly in her usual timid tone of voice before disappearing. Iggy meanwhile had landed on the ceiling preparing to kick off for an extra boost. But before that. "Open! Gate of the Goat! Capricorn!" He called out as he summoned yet another zodiac spirit. "Attack!" He called out as Capricorn took form. The spirit simply nodded and charged at Reaver sending a flurry of kicks and punches. The plan was for Capricorn to drive the man into position, or at least keep him busy.. "Fire Dragon's!" Iggy began as he kicked off the ceiling aiming for where he hoped Reaver would be. "Sword Horn!" He was completely engulfed in flames. Still he had another plan in case this one failed. But he didn't know how much longer he could keep this up. Was Reaver even breaking a sweat? There was no time to think about it. He had to win!

"Damned if he wasn't holding back... But thanks for the save anyway, new g- ...nah. Torie!" Blaze chirped, pulling her shoulder into his, before turning her attention to the castle as she heard the sounds of battle coming through the walls. She could only imagine her best pal beating the snot out of some generic evil guy. He'd be all muscly, crazy and have black hair, ...and a moustache! A really evil one! The girl began to run off without really realising it, despite the pains from metal shards - some of which were still stuck in. The promise of another challenging fight was all she needed to will herself toward the scene - Iggy was fighting after all!

"Hey, you didn't get to see Iggy and Mimi fight. Now's your chance to see a Dragon Slayer kicking ass, Torie! Th-the iron dude didn't count...!" Blaze stuttered, hesitant to admit she got beat.

Things were going just swell, right up until the Spirits were summoned to support the boy. Reaver didn't expect wool of all things to hold against the swing of the scythe, the attack he'd hoped to end this battle with by taking Igneel's head. With the Dragon Slayer calling out humanoid goat-like spirit to fight, Reaver began to move back as he blocked and dodged the powerful hand-to-hand barrage using the pole of the scythe. He kept his footing in the retreat, his concentration was set on finding a way to beat back Capricorn before his master decided to make a move. Unfortunately for Reaver, the very moment Capricorn hopped back Iggy crashed into his chest head-first, like a damned torpedo. The result was Reaver finally showing a grimace in pain for one, but the attack launched him back to the other end of the hall, smashing into the wall opposite Iggy and Capricorn.

The Dark Mage pulled himself out of the rubble, growling as he let primal rage consume him, fueling the darkness magic that now surrounded him in a large aura. He wasn't done. Reaver now wanted nothing more than to end Igneel, and then those friends of his whom he could sense were still alive after Kinzoku departed.

"No... No! This time I'll show the Council the true extent of my power! You'll kneel before me and beg me to kill you before this is over!" Reaver roared as he sent a wave of darkness racing across the hall, aiming to consume Iggy underneath it like a miniature tidal wave. The result would be pain, obviously, but this magic was as alive as water - he would drown underneath it if he was caught, but his suffering would go on for what felt like eternity while in reality only a few seconds might pass. Best way to survive? The ceiling.

...Genesis Zero still wasn't being used. Reaver wanted to break his enemy before confining him to a prison of consumed souls.

Torie simply nodded, unsure of how they'd managed to beat him. "No problem, just returning the favor." was all he said as he clutched his dislocated arm, pain still shooting through him with every movement. Doing his best to follow after Blaze without showing that he was hurt...after all, he'd seem like a weenieif he couldn't move with this kinda thing when Blaze was running around with shrapnel stuck in her legs. Man's gotta have pride.

"...You think Iggy is doin' alright in there?" he asked as he came near, trying his best not to smile at Blaze's hesitance to admit her loss. "Iggy's damn strong from what I've seen in the past...like...hour, but he's fighting their boss, right? He's probably even stronger than that Iron guy." Carefully moving his left arm into his pocket, he simply looked around, and his vision fell back to Rachel., quite a distance away from them and still unconscious...she still had her guns. "...Push comes to shove, I got a back-up plan."

Under the cover of the mini wave Igneel smirked. "Right." He said. "Open Gate of the Twins. Gemini!" He used his third keys summoning another of his spirits. "You're using a lot of magic!" Gemini said quickly upon their summoning. "Nevermind. Transform into me. We're in the middle of life or death." Iggy replied quickly. "Follow me. Maneuver 13." He added with a smirk. Gemini did what Iggy said becoming him. They leaped out first towards the ceiling with the true Iggy in hot pursuit. In this formation Gemini launched at Reaver first trying to make impact with a Fire Dragon's Iron Fist. "Hope you don't think that'll be enough!" Both stated simultaneously. "Fire Dragon's Roar!" The real Iggy sent a blast after Gemini Iggy moved out of the way. Whether Reaver was hit by the initial attack didn't matter. The roar didn't even matter. Sooner or later one of the two Iggy's had to take Reaver down. But Iggy was using a lot of magic. How long until he ran out? Or didn't have to power to oppose Reaver anymore?

"You're starting to get on my nerves...!" Reaver growled as he threw a punch back at Gemini Iggy, causing the darkness and fire spells to create a small explosion in the space between them. As the copy jumped out of the way, the dark mage instinctively spun his scythe to guard against the more direct effects of the incoming stream of flame. Finally, he was on the defensive! But it was taking his opponent all his power... It had to end, and fast while there was momentum to fight on.

Blaze gave a casual shrug in response to Torie's question after he'd finished speaking. Igneel Dragneel was like his dad. He was going to have some nasty bandages and bruises at the end of this, but Blaze felt no doubt that he'd win. In the next few moments, the two had reached the massive throne room entrance. Inside was a wrecked room, the obvious last-man-standing, and... two Iggys?

"...Are we allowed to join in?!" Blaze called over to her bestie mid-battle, knowing that there were those times when Iggy liked everyone to sit back and watch how awesome he was. But right now, it might be safer to charge in and make this a really unfair fight against the bad guy.

[Demon Shinobi]

"That's so funny! I was thinking the same thing about you!" The real Iggy spoke quickly as he landed and immediately lunged at Reaver throwing punched and kicks from the left. "All the crap you've been spouting has been really getting on my nerves!" Gemini Iggy said calmly as he also attacked throwing punches and kicked from the right. Iggy and Gemini were in sync attacking so that they didn't not accidentally hit each other. There attacks didn't even come close to each other. They were focused on Reaver.

Iggy was quickly running out of power though. Which is why when Blaze showed up and asked if they were allowed to join in he grit his teeth. He really didn't want that... But he had to let them. He wasn't properly prepared for this fight. He should have been able to win by himself, but he couldn't. "GO WILD!" He shouted with a hint of anger and disappointment in his voice. He didn't want it to turn out like this. Blaze and Torie must have been exhausted too.

Torie simply settled with the answer spoken by the universal gesture of: "I dunno." as they walked, and, as they reached the throne room, he rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't just seeing double...nope. "Two?" was all he said as he watched the one on two fight.

Hearing Iggy's shout, Torie winced slightly, feeling the pain in his dislocated arm once more. Shit hurt bad, and his adrenaline was starting to fade, the pain going from quick and sharp to slow and throbbing. Sucking it back up, he inhaled sharply and took his shoulder in his hand, and in one slow and incredibly painful motion, he forced the joint back into place, biting his lower lip to keep from screaming. In the end though, his lip began to bleed slightly, and he let out a breathless yell, before hesitantly moving the arm, the pain having left for the most part.Narrowing his eyes as he extended the fixed left arm out, he reached into his Re-Equip space and pulled his helmet out once more, putting it on his head. "...Well, let's get this climax over with then!" was all he said as he mustered what magic he could without losing all his energy, forming a kite shield around his right arm, starting to approach the fight.

Finally, the intensity of the fight started to show on Reaver's face. He struggled to keep up his guard against the double-Iggy onslaught, letting lighter attacks through where he could block heavier hits. No one could fight this guy, ..or two of him, for very long without getting tired at some stage! Two particular punches made it through late in the battle, sending the dark mage sliding along the floor. As if two of the Dragon Slayer wasn't enough, now there were two more kids trying to join in... Seeing imminent defeat, Reaver decided it high time to finish this once and for all!

"ENOUGH! GENESIS ZERO!" He rapidly span the scythe over his head a few times as it gathered an aura of dark energy, then slammed the pole end into the floor, causing a sea of inky darkness to spill out from the crack in the surface. It would make the three, ..or four, feel sick as it spread. Captured souls swarming in the deep black aura cried out for the only lights they could see, that were the souls of Igneel, Torie and Blaze. Hands of that same murky texture and colour emerged from the growing aura, trying desperately to grab hold of them all. But as this spell was being sustained, Reaver was wide open!

Blaze had stopped charging as the sickening feeling filled the air. Yeah... Right now all she could imagine was Torie's recently formed barrier colliding with the dark mage's stupid face. Let the new guy claim the victory? Iggy might not agree, but it was all just friendly competition once the danger was passed. "Torie, heads up!" Not waiting to discuss this, Blaze skated over to Torie on flames to wrap her arms around him. If all was going well, she'd fly over the sea of lost souls and let Torie go as she flew, which would more or less turn him into a human artillery projectile! But after letting go, she realised something. She didn't have any power left. For a moment she just hovered there, dumbfounded. The next, she tried flapping her arms madly as she dropped toward the consuming magic. Dozens of hands reached out to grab the girl and start pulling her into the darkness, and all the while, Blaze was cursing - mostly at herself for playing on with such a stupid idea.

Iggy really didn't want to let this battle be ended by anyone other than him. But right now he was feeling sick to his stomach. And even then he could tell that what he wanted didn't matter. Especially when Blaze flew off into action. "Idiot!" He yelped already seeing the danger in her plan. Torie was likely to make a damn good shot, but Blaze was... Yup... He grit his teeth. "Igneel..." Gemini Iggy said quickly. "I know!" He said as he allowed Gemini to return to the celestial spirit world. He was practically drained. He shook it off though. He took a breath, his eyes closed as he gathered the strength he had left trying to ignore the horrid feeling in the pit of his stomach. With an insanely loud roar of a shout an aura of flames engulfed him. "TORIE! FINISH IT!" He barked before shooting off the ground like a rocket. This had to be his dumbest plan all day. But he couldn't just leave Blaze to be swallowed up.

He was hoping he'd be moving fast enough and with enough power to break free of the hold of Genesis Zero. Midair he grabbed a hold of Blaze, His flame shouldn't hurt her. Not if he didn't want them to. But the warmth of his remaining power would at least let her know she wasn't being left to drown in the sea of souls and darkness. Now the weight of this battle was on Torie's shoulders. Whether or not he, Iggy, Blaze, even Aurora, and all the villagers lived was all up to him. No pressure though.

"...WAIT, WHY ME?" Torie asked himself in his head as Blaze picked him up, flew him over the dark mage, and then dropped him like a sack of rocks. The air made him feel uneasy...now he felt like he knew what Iggy felt like on the train. Except with the souls of the damned instead of trains. Much more cozy. His feeling of unease only multiplied as he saw Blaze start getting swallowed up by the darkness, he felt like time was slowing around him as he saw her start getting pulled more into the black pool of hands. He wished that she could have come up with a better plan, and, seeing the face of the man who'd caused all this trouble turned all his queasiness, unease, and worries into nothing more than anger and adrenaline once more. Balling his hand into a fist as he fell closer, Torie formed panels over his arm, forming an octagonal solid block around his hand. "Barrier Magic..."

Torie slammed his octagonal-mace-hand-thing into the dark mage's face, literally throwing his entire weight behind the punch to the side of the guy's face. "SIGISMUND!" Putting all his force into the punch, Torie simply hoped that he could knock the guy out and stop the spell before his guild mates got eaten by a bunch of hands and blackness.

"STUPID KID!" Reaver growled as he broke from his casting stance, to swipe his scythe at the barrier he deemed as no threat at all. But, ...whether through the blade weakening over time, or the unrelenting force of the finishing blow, the blade shattered. The thundering crash probably indicated a lot of broken bones on the dark mage's end on impact with the barrier! The souls let out a deafening cry before they all returned to the origin of where Genesis Zero was cast - however, this was no eternal loss for those consumed. In the next moment, the once dark, murky colours of the magic had disappeared and been replaced by an explosion of colour. It was the freed souls, some returning to comatose townspeople, others flew into the heavens, bright lights visible even in daylight. It was over, finally...

Blaze blinked a few times in surprise as the colourful explosion faded, revealing the mostly-destroyed throne room. She was still holding Iggy's hand tightly. For someone who bragged so much about how she 'didn't get scared', the experience of almost getting devoured by magic was actually pretty terrifying! And she'd gladly admit that. But the matter of fighting the Iron Dragon dude was still just a draw!

"Ha.. Huh.. We're still alive!" Blaze started to laugh.

Reaver however was groaning in pain on the other side of the throne room. So much for taking on the Council, if he lost to mages this young and inexperienced. Then again, he could only be what.. eight, nine years older? Whatever plan he did have in mind, he'd probably have to get out of prison first. If the townspeople didn't rip him limb from limb before authorities got here.

Iggy laughed a bit. "What? You doubted our chances of victory?" He asked with a small smirk before glancing down at Blaze's hand. She hadn't let go yet. "Um..." He shook his hand a bit. Nothing. She still had it. "Blaze?" He then asked.

After a bit he finally got his hand back. What a relief that was. Now all that was left. "Now." He said as he walked up to Reaver. He grabbed the dark mage's collar and lifted him up off the ground. "I hope you take some time to think about what true power is." His words were likely to have been falling on deaf ears. It didn't matter though because within moments he would knock the man out. "Lets get back and check on the village." He said as he swung Reaver over his shoulder and walked away.

A while later he and his small group were entering the village. He was piggybacking Aurora while Capricorn pulled along a large cart made of Torie's barriers, full of dark mages. Still he was glad when greeted with the happy faces of all the villagers. Cheers and cries of happiness filled the air. "Awesome." He smiled as they finally stopped.

Having seen the group someone had already sent for the criminals to be picked ups. And now the knights were on the scene. "Alright... Blaze... Torie... Great job. Tell Aurora she did good too." Iggy spoke in a rather weak and tired tone. "I know you guys are tired too... But..." He handed over Aurora to the two of them. "I really... Don't... Think..." Before he could finish he fell back onto his back. Capricorn had returned to the spirit world. All in all Iggy appeared to be dead for a minute. That is until he could be heard snoring as he slept having used up nearly his entire magical reserve. Not to mention the fatigue from the battle. He was out cold. Would probably be out for a day or two.
