[IC] Fairy Tail: Next Generation

Hummed a soft toon as she skipped through the village. Smirking as she passes the 'normals' of the village. A few days ago she had joined the Fairy Tail group and a group of three had taken a 'hard' quest. She smiled, curiousity filled her. Stopping as she took sight upon a carriage. A blonde, light haired man in the carriage and a celestial being dissapeared of which she knew as CAPRICORN. She walked closer, hopping towards the carriage, and as she did she looked upon a pinked haired girl and a red head. She waved, watcing if the two would notice them. The pink one seemed unconscious.

"...Well, whatever, we won."[/b[ Was all Torie had to say as he picked Iggy up carefully, leaving Blaze to carry Aurora. Torie still couldn't believe it, they'd saved the town, nobody died, and there was a fat paycheck waiting back at the guild. The thought of getting his cut made Torie's mouth water, saliva visibly dribbling from the corner of his mouth. (None of which hit Iggy, thankfully.) as he mumbled: [b]"500,000...so...s-so...much..." Torie was on the verge of collapse himself, but through the nature of his shining, heroic spirit(and unparalleled levels of money grubbing), he remained standing. Thinking back on it, Torie figured he'd looked pretty cool, getting to deal the last hit like that. Of course, he couldn't take credit beyond that; in the back of his mind, he knew that Blaze and Iggy had gotten the worst of their forces, and even then, he didn't beat Rachel on his own.

Of course, it wasn't about the message, it was about the damn money. And the fact that he could possibly get his sisters somewhere nicer, maybe even a home if the paychecks stayed at least half as nice. "...500,000..." he continued to mutter, his dopey smile and saliva still present.

"I'm gonna need a new jacket. That iron bastard cut mine in half... That's my design! Why do I have to have a replacement made every time we leave Magnolia?!" Blaze started to complain on the way back to the railway stop, just outside of the town. Torie's reward face indicated he was more than happy with the end result. Iggy was.. well, as close to unconscious as he could be. And Aurora was here, resting in Blaze's arms soundly. For a scrawny kid, the fire mage wasn't as weak as she looked - in fact all those shrapnel cuts would have anyone normal writhing in pain! Worse pain would've been losing someone... But they got lucky as far as the Iron Dragon Slayer was concerned. He could've ended it right there...

"We better meet again. I wanna burn him a lot so he knows how I feel right now!"

Blaze looked back one more time as the group arrived at the empty station. There was a girl there, waving for attention. Was she hurt or something? The train pulled to a halt a few moments later, and Blaze was quick to find a seat for Aurora to use for a temporary bed. Figuring Torie would take care of the other sleeping beauty, she moved over to the doors and waved back at the girl from earlier.

"We're outta here, jobs done! You need to catch the train or what? We're going to Magnolia."

About a day and a train ride later the group would soon pull into the station of Magnolia town. A loud satisfied sigh of relief could be heard as the machine pulled to a stop and iggy stretched getting up from his seat. "Finally!" He said feeling quite relieved and energetic. "It hasn't even been a week and it feels like we've been gone for so long." He said cheerfully as he began to walk off the train with his things and his comrades in tow. "How are you all feeling? Personally I wish things had gone a bit differently, but we seriously kicked some dark guild ass!" He chanted happily. "AND!" He paused almost as if to purposely add a bit of suspense. "We didn't even destroy a piece of the town! That means we get the full pay!" Yup. Things had gone amazingly well. This was pretty great. Especially for the two newbie's first mission.

Some time later...

After leaving the train with their belongings it wouldn't be long until the small group reached the guild hall. Iggy kicked the doors open rather enthusiastically. "WE'RE BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCKKKK!!!!!!" He shouted with a happy laugh. This was pretty good. Sure he'd ended up collapsing after the damage he'd taken and the amount of magic he'd used, but you wouldn't know it now. At least you wouldn't if he didn't have bandages strung around a fair amount of his body courtesy of the townfold before the group left. They treated everyone else as well, of course.

No words came from Torie on the way back; Only drool. His face remained the same, to the point where he'd actually put cotton wads into his mouth and hid his face in his helmet, periodically mumbling: "500,000..." By the time that they'd arrive at the guild hall, however, he'd actually composed himself a little, wiped the drool from his chin and entire face, and, actually managed to close his mouth! But he was still anticipating the money. He'd been so excited, in fact, the pain in his left arm had died down completely, helped by it being held in a sling made from a tablecloth. Hurts to not have money for medical insurance. Seeing Iggy being so exuberant after their ordeal, Torie couldn't help but smile beneath his helmet, and raising his right fist in the air as he shouted: "JUSTICE HAS PREVAILED! AND STUFF!"

[Kitty]

Mimi looked up from where she had been sitting at the bar. Her worried expression over whether her friends would return safely or not quickly transforming into a huge toothy grin. It took a lot of self control not to tackle them all to the ground and hug them to death, but she knew they were obviously really beat up from their fight. She wasn't in perfect shape but she had rested since the day she got back a couple days ago. She now only had a bandage on her whole right arm as a burn healed. It didn't matter to her, she had gone through more emotional than physical pain as she learned of her true past. Her parents and her were able to help defeat the rebels of the spirit world thus bringing peace to the spirit world. She had been told she was next in line to rule spirit world but she gave control to the twelve zodiac. She understood she'd have to return to the spirit world every now and then to remain at full strength but Mimi had come to the conclusion that her life was here at Fairy Tail. That didn't mean her heart wasn't in pain, she had just learned her two real parents had died, but to her all that mattered currently was the fact her friends had returned.

Mimi walked over to them and hugged each of the gently with a huge smile on her face and tears brimming her eyes. She backed away and looked at them all still smiling widely. "I'm so glad you all made it back safe. I knew you guys could do it but it doesn't mean I wasn't worried." She said playing with a key that hung from her neck, which just so happened to be her gate key. "Welcome home!" She exclaimed releasing happy tears as the guild roared and Wendy came over to help with their pain and minor wounds. Others came over to congratulate or help patch up wounds that Wendy could only do so much with. Mimi walked back to the bar and hoped on it watching them with a smile. "When do you plan on telling them?" Panther Lily asked,"When the time is right. So not for a few days or weeks. Possibly never, I don't know. For now we celebrate their success on their extremely hard mission." Mimi said simply.

A young lady with short white hair and heterochromatic eyes strode through the streets. One was gold, the other purple. She was dressed in cropped and cut red robes, more suitable to warm weather than a full robe. She carried a small harp, propped against her shoulder, and she strummed it idly. She played a gentle, upbeat tune, reflecting her mood. The magess minstrel watches the people she passes, and her surroundings as they change, keeping mostly to herself.

She was passing by outside when someone kicked open the doors to a guildhall. Naturally, it drew her attention. She plucks out a set of strings to imply mystery or strangeness, and her melody came to a pause. She decided to follow this person inside, and investigate what was happening. It caught her attention, after all. It had to make her wonder what kind of music she would find within. To begin... This somewhat saloon or tavern feel earns it Gunpowder Tea.

[Demon Shinobi]

After receiving the hug and heartfelt words from Mimi, Iggy rolled his eyes. "Geez what was that melodramatic greeting?!" He called out to her before smirking. "Weren't we in the middle of a fight before we left?" He then asked to make himself feel a bit less tense about it. ""We 're gonna have to pick it up later you know." He added before stretching a bit. "I mean i'd go right now if you weren't all bandaged up." Like he was one to talk. "I mean seriously, don't get all soft on me." He laughed a little before turning and walking to report on the job officially. "Mira. We're back." He said calmly. He explained how it went and asked Mira to give a majority of his portion of the reward money to Torie so he could save a little and give the rest he didn't need away. He didn't need most of it anyway. It was Iggy's standard reward money procedure with friends. Torie delivered the finishing blow. So he figured the guy deserved it. Blaze used to get it most of the time. Maybe next time Aurora would. "Welp. I think I'm gonna get something to eat." He said after speaking with Mira and walking to get some food.

[Kitty]

"Says the flamehead who has bandages all over his body!" Mimi said playfully glaring at Iggy. "I'd take you on right here and now if I didn't think I could easily overpower you with your injuries." Mimi said smirking, "I mean I did gain more muscle while you were gone." Mimi flexed her good arm and pushed the muscle up from behind to make it look bigger.

Mimi then laughed slightly and then hopped off the bar onto a stool and sighed resting her head on her hand as she dropped the smile. 'How long can I actually keep this act up?' she asked herself before ordering a vanilla milkshake from Mira.Mimi recieved the milkshake and sipped on it while turning around and observing the guild in front of her. It was her crazy guild that she loved dearly. These people were her family and she loved them. 'I'm so glad that I can be a part of Fairy Tail.'

Torie nodded as he served his sisters the pieces of the omellete, before he said: "Yeah, they can be kind of a handful...even for m-" he stopped as he recieved two ice cold glares from the true final bosses at the table, forcing him to quickly change the subject. "S-So yeah...I'd definitely be down for another job. I've been spending all that time on getting this place looking nice and healing my shoulder up, so I'm itching for some action...And uh..." Torie started to bashfully scratch the back of his head, averting his eyes from Iggy slightly. "Thanks...for the extra cash Iggy. I appreciate it. If it wasn't for you, me and my sisters wouldn't be here eating something like this in a house like this. I'll pay you back someday."

Iggy laughed a gave Torie a hearty slap on the back. "Pay me back? No way! And quit the extra thanks. You'll make a guy blush." His laughing stopped and a calm smile rested on his face. "You're my friend. A precious nakama. Think nothing of it." He further explained just a bit before looking at his sisters. They were a fun little group. He turned and returned to his spot leaning on the wall. "By the way, any of your sisters planning on becoming a mage one day?" He asked a little curious. "Or is it just gonna be you going on adventures and what not?" He added with a slight chuckle. He'd prefer not to think of the money as a debt or anything like that. He'd likely do it again in the future whether Torie asked, or even wanted it. That was probably why he was so quick to move on to the next subject on his mind.

Torie kept bashfully scratching the back of his head, before he tossed his chef hat into the air and re-equipped his helmet on, mostly to hide his embarrassment. The chef hat then rested atop his helmet. Thus was the birth of Kamen Chef. "Uh...No. At least as far as I know." Both sisters nodded, the older one saying: "It's enough of a hassel for us to start going to school now. Learning magic would put too much on our plates.", while the younger one says: "Maybe! But not now." Torie hummed for a moment, before patting Iggy's shoulder. "I'll catch up with you at the guild later. Pick us a good job, alright?"

[Demon Shinobi]

Iggy nearly burst out laughing when Torie requipped his helmet and the chef at landed. But he managed to keep control. "W-well... If any of you wanna learn I'll be happy to teach you some stuff." He said shifting the topic so he wouldn't laugh as Torie in front of his sisters. And then Torie said he'd meet him at the guild. "Oh? Tryin to get rid of me?" He laughed a little before turning to leave. "Ah well. I'll do my best. See ya." He cheerfully spoke as he waved heading out the door. "But be quick! It's best to NOT anger a dragon." He joked.

Torie smiled as he waved back at Iggy, before closing the front door once he'd gone. Taking a seat at the dining table, Torie simply stared at his bit of omelette for a bit, before his middle sister said: "He's nice. Dumb. But nice...So...I take it you had to do something and he gave you money?" Torie simply shook his head and said: "Nope...he just gave it away." his voice shaking somewhat. "I owe him a lot. We all do." he added, before his younger sister says: "He's a good guy Torie. He's your best friend, right?" Torie thought on that for a bit before removing his helmet and eating his omelette in just a few bites. "I need to get goin'." he says before running to the door, his mouth stuffed and his apron and hat tossed aside. With a final word of: "Have a good day at school!" he bolted out, leaving the two at the table. Both then spoke in unison: "...He stuck us with the dishes again." Once he was out of the house, Torie put his helmet back on before he jumped up, forming a series of panels for a stairway up atop his house. With that done, he started jumping from roof-top to roof-top, taking the route to the guild with no traffic.
