Abaddon growled in pain as the mad hero bashed into him and basically broke him through the wall of a building. That hurt, but it only made Abaddon angry.
"Ha, I've honestly waited a while for this, Obliterate," Abaddon laughed as he stood up from the ground Obliterate had tossed him at.
"If you honestly think I'm going to break out the cliche of 'trying to reason with the once great but now fallen hero', you're wrong."
The tendrils on Abaddon's back sharpened into even deadlier weapons, as did his claws and teeth. In a swift leap, Abaddon was level with Obliterate. Taking advantage of this, Abaddon pierced Obliterate with his tendrils and used them to push himself upwards before pulling downwards. This gave him extra force to kick Obliterate, driving him down into the ground below.
On the ground, Obliterate groaned in pained as he felt Abaddon's tendrils bore deeper into him. Before the antihero could bring down his raised claws down on Obliterate though, the enraged meta let loose a wave of concussive energy from his body to blast Abaddon away.
Obliterate struggled to his feet, recovering from his pain. He gritted his teeth as he ripped off the tendrils that were attempting to burrow into his body. Raising his arms, he let loose another stream of energy.
Though Abaddon had been blasted off from Obliterate by a wave of his cosmic energy, he had landed skillfully on his feet and was ready for whatever came next. As the stream of new energy surged towards him, his created a tough symbiotic shield to resist the barrage. It was tough though, so Abaddon had to put in a bit more effort to keeping his ground.
"Is this all you got?!"
Lashing out his free arm, Abaddon released a whipping, fanged tendril that stretched to reach Obliterate. It caught his enemy right on the leg, biting down deeply and then tugging to knock him off balance.
"I didn't kill Starbird, and I probably never would have unless the bastard came for me first," Abaddon growled as he began pulling the hero towards him.
"But, I will kill you. And I'm going to enjoy it just like I do with every other massacre I make on the scum I hate."
Abaddon pounced on top of Obliterate and stabbed him with his tendrils once again. His symbiotic suit released more tendrils from in front, spreading over Obliterate to keep him downed as Abaddon repeatedly punched him in the face. He ended his attack with a bite to the shoulder, ripping off a chunk of the hero's flesh before leaping off him.
"I'm going to have a bit of fun with this though. C'mon 'hero', you're just as lowly as the rest of the criminals and villains of Arcus now that you've killed people who, like me, didn't even know shit about your brother's death."
The angry hero grunted as his cosmic energy burned off the resin keeping him down.
"Bleeding won't stop..."
He was right, the wounds Abaddon had given him were deep and gruesome, especially the bite. He dove for Abaddon, only to be knocked off course by his tendrils.
"Fool."
Abaddon drove his claws into Obliterate's body, then tore out violently to rip open his ribcage and spill his innards.
