Ah, sorry about that, what I meant was that Akira put Silas and Black Cat inside a 'Lotus Eater' Illusion, in which they were put inside a stimulated scenario in which A.K. and Elizabeth are both captured. I said that it would only work for a few seconds with the hope that Black Cat, instead of continuing to think that he had captured two of the targets, would snap out of the scenario and help Catherine capture the still-fighting Elizabeth. The hints that the Illusion comprised the entire 'capture' scenario were that Elizabeth was shown as still fighting, while Akira was still packing.

Sorry if I misled you; that was newbish GMing of me.

Edit: Note also that I was trying to show how powerful Akira Kariya actually is; remember, he's one of the two bosses of the scenario.

So BC never actually had his claws on each of the two makers, and Silas didn't really wrap them in steel? That would mean that BC and Silas didn't actually interact at all, and that BC would have only entered the room when the illusion struck. Just from the sheer retcon power, illusion magic seems insanely OP, almost as much as mind control magic is in RP format.

It's supposed to be for those not expecting it. Also, BC and Silas did interact; they shared the same illusionary world, just like Morpheus and Neo shared the Matrix. Note however that only the strongest Mentalism Magi can do this, and it's always temporary unless there was a magitech device making it so. Anyway, without magitech, even Nonmagi (or rather, Non-Practicing Magi, as all of humanity is Magic in this universe) can fight off illusions with willpower.

I'll be deleting my old post and rewriting it now then. BC wouldn't feel bad about leaving a job unfinished if it proved more difficult then originally stated, but a powerful magician messing with his mind is sure to set his blood boiling.

All right, here's a summary of the E3 Arc, so far:

You and Eise are engulfed in an illusion of victory by Akira Kariya, but you can snap out of it in a few seconds. Catherine, meanwhile, is fighting Elizabeth Cortes (one of the MMO Makers), and Balthazar 'Thaz' Carlton, one of the Agents. Conor, meanwhile, is fighting Clarisse (NPC controlled by GreenGoat), and Joshua's reinforcing him. Ken Saddler (another MMO Maker) is also helping them.

Side plotlines are Amelia and Rose talking, then Amelia and Heinz Harper talking, in which the latter reveals that Ascot got raped while on a mission, but mindwiped his own memories of it to continue functioning. Then, after that was Heinz talking to the President (NPC controlled by Mass City) in which its revealed that they have feelings for each other.
