Yeah, I can appreciate that kind of suspense, but only if the time filled is with more engaging characters. I liked the characters in Jaws and most of the time, the old Godzilla movies, so I didn't mind the wait. Ken and Heisenburg were the only characters I really cared about in this one so all the teasers were really annoying.

It was more when they started actually fighting and destroying things but we only got told it was happening and didn't get to see it that I was annoyed.

I chose to perceive it as a natural disaster more than anything, it was kind of the same feeling about hearing about some crazy thing like a tsunami across the world and how the world reacts to it. I thought it was kind of a neat angle.

Besides, I knew at the end of the movie they'd show us everything, so I wasn't too fussed. It wouldn't make sense to have several smaller battles throughout the movie, because that would just be ridiculous for them to keep finding each other and buggering off.

Yes it's good but tedious if you've never watched the older Godzilla movies. If you have watched them it's a pretty good modernization of a classic. I think its PG-13, or R, but pretty sure it's PG-13.
