Wednesday Spring 3rd

The sleep was long, peaceful, nothing could wake him up. Nothing except the eternal ringing of an alarm clock to which would only stop once smashed. Just as the previous morning, it was still rather cold, you'd think he'd learn by now that sleeping in just boxers was going to be an issue.
It was quiet... Perhaps he didn't realise but his window had still been left open from last night. A few piles of snow had somehow been dragged in, as there were hand prints left from the frost, somebody had broken into Jassys' room. Though underneath Jassys' pillow was a small box. Inside of said box was a black card with a purple ribbon wrapped around it. Ripping the ribbon off it slowly floated down the side of his bed never to be seen again...
Written inside the card was a message directed, clearly, for Jassy.

"To Minion

I humbly accepted your gift, did I not?
As a thank you I require you to be at my services this afternoon.
THE FOLLOW DETAILS ARE FOR YOUR EYES ONLY MINION!

Meet me behind the Romana Mansion, there will be a secret entrance in a wall, it is rather hard to find! I created the disguise myself with my own magic! Kyehahaha!
Come at the usual time! If you're late I will not be pleased!

- Your Queen"

Throwing his arm up into the air with joy, he jumped out off bed, threw on some new clothes and dashed off to work.

3:33am is what the alarm clock read within the small room Sketch had rented the night before at 'Doug's Inn' and as like any other day, it was at 3:33am on the dot that Sketch opened his eyes. His covers were an absolute mess, sprawled around him, half on the floor and he made no effort to fix them before hauling himself from the bed and over to the mirror. The moonlight was enough to catch the reflection of his face in the mirror above the washbasin, both eyes visible as his eyepatch hang from the chair with his clothes. The right eye shone a brilliant violet, almost producing it's own shine rather than reflecting that of the moon's rays whilst the left was dimmed and washed from the scarring that surrounded it. Then began the morning, and perhaps the reason why he gets up so early:

Step 1 - Splash the face and dry after playing with the tabs for an unhealthy amount of time.
Step 2 - Watch the water swirl down the drain and contemplate it's journey for an equally odd amount of time.
Step 3 - Brush his teeth for the approximate time it would take for a dentist to whiten each individual tooth of a great white shark to the point of blinding you before death.
Step 4 - Wash brush/mouth and repeat step 2.
Step 5, Shower, scrub self clean for the approximate time and muscle power it would take to grind down a kilo block of hard cheese (There should be at least 3 layers of skin removed).
Step 6 - Repeat step two and dry.
Step 7 - Don clothing and eyepatch, readjust tie approximately 12 times leaving it a mess, fiddle with buttons of vest for an equal if not greater amount of attempts, Tie cloth strips around upper arms.
Step 8 - Contemplate insanity by window, continue until snapped back to reality.

By the time that all this was done, the sunrise was in full effect around 7-8am when his neighbours within the inn started stirring. Finally ready for the day, Sketch grabbed his notebook and assorted gear before heading off to the Rose Plaza, from which he was told was the centre of life in the area. Whilst walking he heard the notable lack of jingle from the remaining coins in his pocket and pondered how much longer he'd last without selling something. This sort of thought never bothered him at all, he'd never starved for too long before and preferred to draw when he felt like it rather than because he needed something. Plus the thing is, when you're on the move there isn't really all that much you can by that will come with you so basic day to day monetary demands are limited in themselves. Nature always provides, The thought crossed his mind as he walked along the path on the way to the plaza, passing many plants before coming to one with an edible and really not that bad tasting root. His crocked smile found it's place and he nommed the root, watching the sky as he walked.

Before he new it, he was in the centre of the Rose Plaza, Mineral town. He glanced around, taking in the world around him; the people and places all the while wondering how long it took him to get there with his head up in the clouds. Meaningless time to silver in the sky, inspiration hit Sketch like an explosion of enlightenment as the thought drifted through his lofty mind. With the idea situated perfectly in his head, remembering the view from having almost been pushed over last night and the view of the sky earlier, he ran up to the nearest tree he could find. Anyone watching would definitely have had an interesting moment in their day to watch the one eyed boy swing himself, perfectly fluid in each motion, up into the tree and to then hang upside down from it within moments. From there, as he watched the world flip and the ground become the sky and the clouds become the platforms for the people to walk about; he drew. The people walked upon the silver clouds and sat among the treetops that hung like chandeliers from their solid roof, they conversed upside-down with storeowners, offering goods and money between the two perspectives. All these things came to life with a piece of charcoal in his hand, strokes guided almost by the gently humming as he worked.

Whilst a new 2D world took shape, woven from the mind and bound to paper, a few other pieces of his art rested at the bottom of the tree on showcase for the passes by. Among these were the artwork of the previous nights party at the Blue bar as well as a few pieces from the other places he had travelled. One portrayed a single leaf with an intricate city burnt into it, another was a wolf cowering before a mouse. Each of the pieces were realistic and precise as could be and yet contained a shade of otherworldliness about them.

"Oh it's you! Tristan" Daryl said as he opened the door

"What is your business here?" Daryl asked

"Well... I brought some herbs that will help you in your research" Tristan answered

"I can't stop you now huh?" Daryl sighed and Tristan nods

"Oh well... Get in" Daryl invited Tristan

"Okay... I got the blue grass" he said then placed the grass in the table

"Then the yellow one" then he placed the yellow grass in the table

"The orange one and the purple one!"

"Is that all?" Daryl asked

"I'm not finished yet" Tristan answered and he showed the red grass

"Ah nononono NO!" Daryl screamed and slaps the red grass out of Tristan's hand

"What was that for!?" Tristan asked angrily

"The red grass is poisonous you know" Daryl answered

"Oh really? I'm very sorry" Tristan apologized

"It's okay! Now let's get started" Daryl said

Both of them begun the research.

Wednesday, Spring 3rd
Forget-Me-Not Valley
6:00AM

Clara's exhausted eyes opened up to a blurred vision of her clock which was whining like an infernal child. She hadn't slept well the night before, and she wasn't feeling so hot at that moment - her alarm definitely wasn't helping with her aching head. 6:00AM, the crying clock announced, only silencing when Clara's hand fell down onto it. She didn't want to get up, she wasn't going to get up, but of course she had to get up. With a groan, Clara slowly sat up, wrestling with her blanket that she had found herself tangled in while she tried to remove herself from the bed. "Even the bed doesn't want me to leave..." Clara grumbled as she stretched her tired and aching limbs. She probably shouldn't have done what she had done the night before - this was the exact reason why she didn't do such things often.

As Clara trudged off to the bathroom to start her day, she caught a glimpse of her zombie-like appearance: Messy hair, black bags under her eyes, her whole face looking like it was falling off her skull. She groaned at her appearance, further fitting into her deathly demeanour. "We've got work to do," Clara noted as she again headed off toward the shower. By 7:00AM, she was cleaned, her teeth were free of any residue from anything she had eaten or drank prior, her hair was done and she was dressed. At last she was presentable, now she only had to be fed and prepare for the hour treck to Mineral Town. She considered simply living in the town to save herself from the journey almost each day, but taking the journey late at night was unwise, especially for someone like her...
Wednesday, Spring 3rd
Mineral Town
8:30AM

Clara was wishing that she'd simply stayed in bed, for an hour-long walk around the mountain with a pounding head wasn't all that fun to do. But as usual, she forced herself through it - she supposed that she would just drop in to see Dr. Hardy when she was done with her "day job." Though she no longer looked the part, Clara still felt like a walking corpse as she trudged along, violin case in hand. A delicate rose was carefully etched into the face of the case - so fitting to be played in Rose Plaza. She had acquired her violin by a parting gift from her parents before she left for Forget-Me-Not Valley from Zephyr Town. Clara had grown tired of trudging off to the Bazaar every Saturday just to live for the next week, and her parents knew it. Still, she goes to visit them every now and again - a little less than usual due to her now working two jobs so she could save to live outside of Mitemi Inn and couldn't spend more than she needed to.

As she reached Rose Plaza, her eyes were immediately drawn too an odd man hanging by his legs from a tree. With a raised eyebrow, she slowly approached him, curious as to why he was being so peculiar. She didn't know who the odd man was, due to his face being covered by a seemingly strategically placed sketchbook covering his face. As she got closer, she noticed that he had wares for sale, rather, he had artworks for sale. Her eyes dropped from the man who probably thought he was a monkey hanging by his tail, and into the artworks. Her eyes scanned over them, stopping on a mythically renditioned piece of last night's celebrations in the Blue Bar. Clara blinked, a puzzled expression on her face as her eyes couldn't move from the piece, more specifically the prime subject of the piece - a glorified version of herself. "How...?" she wondered out loud, her head raising to look at the creator. Since she was now beneath him, she could see what who was on the other side of the sketch book, and she recognized him to be the stranger from last night.

"Oh! It's you," she exclaimed, her voice brimming with surprise. Again she jumped a little from such surprise, a hand coming up to rest over her brisk heart's beat. She was so sure that he'd just been passing through last night, and yet here he was in the centre of Rose Plaza. Like a child, Clara tilted herself as far sideways as she could without falling down, trying to turn him the right way up in her eyes. "Just why are you upside down?" she asked, her face more puzzled than playful. She had time to spare, for she wasn't due to play in the plaza for another hour and a half, so she supposed that she could dawdle to her busking spot. The formal monkey-man had again captured her curious, much like he did last night. And of course she did part from him by telling him that she hoped to see him again, so it would seem rude if she were to leave as quickly as she could after saying such.

She straightened herself with an awkward cough, after a seemingly long silent pause. Her demeanour had shifted into her usual shy and awkward state, which wasn't odd for herself - though she supposed it was because she played and sung for a living. She crouched down to place her hand on the edge of the drawing she had found herself staring at for so long, looking up at the sketching man. "How much would you like for this?" she asked, hoping that she hadn't assumed wrong that it was for sale. But she didn't want anybody else having a picture of what she thought to be her - that would just be... Creepy.

Wednesday Spring 3rd
Mineral Town

The smell of animals was overwhelming for most people in a barn. Many wouldn’t call the animals pretty or smart either. They are food, products, or simply part of the food chain which we resides on the top. Even if they breath, eat, sleep, and can do much more as to what it called life they are not put on the same tier of people. Natalie had an odd idea that it was the smells that made people believe this. If animals smell of perfume and shampoo perhaps people would like them more, or if they wore fashionable clothes with and had puppy dog eyes they wouldn’t simply be seen as a resource. However, even in this smell the barn had one extra member in it. In her night of unrest she found solitude in the smells, sounds, and company of her animals. Her pillow was a simple hay bail and her bed was the floor to the barn. No one would even compare it to a one star hotel, but for her it was as close to home as she could hope.

Her biological clock struck her alarm of morning after years of training it to. She shifted on her pillow before her head fell off it entirely .Falling to the ground which jolted her even more awake. Rubbing a possible bruise to be found later her eyes tried focusing after having been startled open. In front of her she saw her cow laying down yet awake. Belle’s, the cow, head turned in the direction of its waking owner and simply chews slowly on hay it had gotten from her troph. Natalie reached out and patted the nose of her cow before standing up. Stretching her entire back from a night of wretched support Natalie let out a massive yawn. Today was another day of spring work that came with the melting snow. And first was to milk the cows. One by one she brought the trademark silver bucket over. Having to relax each cow before milking them. After setting that milk away into bottle and storage to be sent to the market later she went outside the barn.

Natalie found her horses in the field thee way she had left them last night. Their heads nodded over in sleep was giving the rising sun an even greater tranquility. Deciding to leave them be Natalie turned her chicken coop. She had to move sleeping chickens and avoid rousing the ones who were known to be squawkers as she retrieved the harvest of eggs. After each egg was pulled she put that in the cooler that sat in her gaudy storage shed as well. Tomorrow she will use her small wagon to bring them to the market she decided before moving to water her small garden. That didn’t take long before she took an hour using a sickle to get fodder from her field and move it to her barn. Each blade of grass cut effortlessly by her sharpened blade and creating one of the many signature sounds of a ranch.

As that was finished she looked to the sky wand decided it was around 8am. Her morning work was done in the span of three hours, but she still had more things to do today. Quickly grabbing a bag of a few of her tools she walked to her porch and then also collected her saddle. It wasn’t a pretty saddle, much like everything else on the ranch, but it worked and that was all that mattered to Natalie for now. Moving of she put the saddle over Calico who had been woken up but her stroking of his nose and soft voice. “Ready to work?” she asked nicely before Calico gave a small snort. To everyone but her he was an intimidating monster, but she saw past his dark eyes and large build with ease.

Getting on him she directed him with reins towards the north. Trotting out of her ranch as the sun lit town that was coming before her eyes. Smiling to herself as she had always loved the view of her home in the morning Natalie thought back to simple random events in her life. The morning ride on Calico was one of the many things that always kept her happy as a rancher, even if she was alone in her life. Natalie passed by the blacksmith whom she waved to and he waved back before Saibara returned to his trademarked clang of hammer to metal in perfect tempo. Next she passed by the chicken farm she moved into to talk to Lillia. Knowing her illness Natalie made it one of her tasks to talk to her often, as being cooped up, no pun intended, on the same plot of land not seeing people could be ones worst nightmare. Natalie knew what it was like to have no one to talk to or share stories with, so it was something she cared for about deeply.

Finally Natalie arrived to Yodel Ranch where she saw Barley working with his animals. The old man was far slower than she was with work, so he was never finished with his daily chores even with the help of his granddaughter May. They had taken Natalie in when she first arrived for a job and she felt as if she owed them since. Barley always tried to get her to stop helping out, but she knew he was thankful and she wouldn’t let the man work himself to death just yet. Waving as she arrive she yelled out “Good Morning Barley!” And that was all that was needed before she hopped off her horse and began to do more work.

Wednesday Spring 3rd

Jassy wasn't in the clinic at the moment. But he was going around delivering medication to different people, and a few travelers who had came into town.
"Here ya go! Don't get sick!" "Take with caution!" "Make sure to take one after breaky and one after dinner!"
It was not a boring task, as Jassy would pass by many different people in the village. Before, just a few minutes ago Jassy had run Hugh and Kate.
"Jassy! What are you up to today?" Asked Hugh with a bright smile on his face. Kate whammed him on the head.
"Don't be rude! Ladies first! *Giggle* So, what are you doing today Jassy?" Whilst Hugh rubbed his head Jassy made a hearty laugh.
"Hahahaa! You guys are always so funny! Hahaha! To-to hehe today, I'm giving out medicine to all the people who need it!"
Hugh jumped in front of Kate. "Sounds like fun, who's the next stop?" *WHAM* "Yeah, who's next?" Jassy laughed again.
"Haha uhhh, next I have to visit..." Checking a small checklist he had in his pocket, he noted that the next villagers he had to meet were the lovely old couple at the top of the hill. Nina and Galen
"Nina and Galen! Yep that's who! I'm about to sprint up the hill!" Hugh and Kate looked at each other. "Sounds Fu-Boring!" Kate whammed Hugh again, "Don't interrupt me while I'm talk'n! So anyway, I don't know HOOOW you do it, you run around waaay more than silly old Hugh! He's so slooow!"
"I AM NOT! - ARE TO! - ARE NOT - ARE TO!" Jassy looked at them with a frown. "Friends don't fight like that! Tell ya what, I'll race you to Nina and Galens house! That;ll show Kate how fast you are!" Hughs' eyes lit up with excitement "Aweso- I'll be the referee!" Kate interrupted. Running over to stand in the middle of the road as she lifted her arms up in the air, in place of flags. "The winner is the fastest in the valley!" She said with a giant smile. "3.. 2.."
Jassy looked at Hugh. "Sorry, but I'm going to have to annihilate you!"
"1, GO!" Jumping up and throwing her arms to the ground the boys started to running. Jassy had not problem picking up speed and sprinting away, leaving both the dust and Hugh, behind him.
"*CoughCough* Hes.. too fast!" Kate came over to sympathize with Hugh... Or something along those lines... "Don't worry! You never really stood a chance ahahaha!"

Spiraling up the hill was a breeze for Jassy no issues at all, the rate at which he was running quickly led him to the old couples house. Slowing down to safely get to the doorstep. He knocked on the door. A lady he could see through the window turned around and slowly made her way to the door. Turning the knob, she greeted young Jassy.
"Ah, hello young urchin... How can I *Coughcough* .. Help you?"
"Special Delivery Ma'am! "
"Is that right? how sweet of *cough* You..."
"Does Ma'am require some water?!"
"Ahaha that'd be very kind of you.. *coughcough*" She smiled very sweetly. Jassy walked over to the sink and grabbed a small glass to fill with water for the kind old lady, or Ma'am as he put it. Giving her the glass, she drank some of it.
"Ah, lovely... So now, why was you came here again?" Smiling again.
"Special delivery! Here you goo!" Placing the parcel on the table he waved goodbye to the old lady. "Byeeeee! If you get sick make sure to come to the clinic~!"
Jassy began his trip back down the mountain.
