[OOC] Pokemon: Among Stars Together

SETTING:
Off the coast of the Kalos Region lies the Delphinium Archipelago, a chain of tropical islands full of life and happiness. Currently they are hosting their famous Starlight Festival in honor of Jirachi, the Wish Maker. The legend says that every thousand years Jirachi wakes for seven days, granting wishes throughout the week that it is awake. Throughout the week of the Starlight Festival the Delphinium council hosts a tournament and events for locals and tourists alike, in hopes of bringing more warmth and community to their beautiful island.

The Delphinium Archipelago is full of lush jungles and forests, and also breathtaking landscapes. The islands that consists of the archipelago are each full of their own mysteries and secrets, which makes it the perfect place to explore and grow together with your Pokemon.

SYNOPSIS:
This is a RP I started on the old guild that I want to try and revive, I'm looking for around 3 or 4 others to join in. It won't be on a first come first serve basis, more so on characters, possible relationships with one another, along with growth and development. And when I mean relationships I just mean interactions and how they will cooperate and mold together as a group.

Our characters will all be attending the festival, whether it be for the battle tournament, Pokemon contest, Pokeathlon, touring the island, etc. Whatever the reason may be they all are attending the festival and they happen to meet up by chance, whether they knew each other beforehand or not, somehow they get connected in-story and that will be talked and explained more once we've got some interest shown.

NAME: Marcie Brand

HOMETOWN: Born in Floaroma Town, in the Sinnoh Region. Currently traveling.

APPEARANCE: Standing at 5'6", Marcie has a flowing head of bright red hair that she allows to grow out rather long, only occasionally getting it trimmed when she happens to be in a sizeable enough city. The bright red of her hair is offset by her bright blue eyes, which are oftentimes sparkling with a mixture of enthusiasm and excitement, a split-second hint before someone's eyes move further down to see the nearly perpetual smile she sports.

She doesn't tend to fuss over her wardrobe, almost always seen wearing a plain white sleeveless shirt beneath a worn black vest that she never bothers to button up, mostly just using it as a place to store her pokéballs. For her bottoms, she's likewise almost perpetually wearing a pair of jean shorts, though she's been known to dabble in skirts from time to time, mostly on special occasions.

PERSONALITY: When the many people Marcie has met think of her, the first word that comes to their mind is usually a three-way tie between 'outgoing,' 'competitive,' and 'loud.' And in a sense, those three words rather neatly summarize her. She has a generally easygoing and friendly nature, always quick to make new friends but never sticking around in one place long enough to really establish long lasting relationships, though not necessarily because she doesn't want them. It just seems that her wanderlust and need to continue reaching new heights keeps her too mobile to settle down for a moment and really get to know someone.

This is, of course, symptomatic of Marcie's intense desire to prove herself. Ever since she was little, she's known that she's wanted to be a pokémon trainer, and now that she finally is one, she tackles every new day like it's the very start of her adventure. More often than not, she spends her days and nights out in the wilderness, training and spending time with her pokémon, the six truly lasting friends that she has, especially since it provides the free space to keep them all outside of their pokéballs. Even when in a crowded area, she tends to have at least one or two of them out at all times.

When it comes to battling, Marcie has a fierce but not unfriendly competitive spirit, always looking to prove herself but never reluctant to praise those who best her and those who she bests in equal measure. It seems she's found a like minded team of pokémon, as all of them share her enthusiasm for battling, though whether it's because she selected them for that trait or if it simply rubbed off on them after spending time with her is hard to tell.

HISTORY: Marcie was born and raised in Floaroma Town, close to nature and, by extension, close to pokémon. She's always been fascinated with these strange and wildly varied creatures, but it didn't extend much further than that until she was eleven years old, when she had a chance encounter with the Champion of the Sinnoh League as she happened to be passing through - Cynthia. Seeing the incredible bond between her and her pokémon, Marcie immediately knew that she wanted to have that same bond with her own pokémon someday. From that day, she would often spend time out in the fields or in nearby Eterna Forest, playing with wild pokémon and learning more about them in her own way.

Finally, at the age of thirteen, she had had enough of being confined to one place, not getting to see the vast world of pokémon that was hinted at whenever a trainer stopped in the town in the middle of their own journey. She set out for Sandgem town, and pleaded her case to Professor Rowan. Despite her obvious passion for pokémon, she was still actually a bit surprised when he almost immediately agreed to give her her very first pokémon: a Chimchar, which she promptly named Inferno. Overjoyed, she spent every waking moment for the next week bonding with her new friend, until eventually she began battling. As soon as she had her first epic encounter with a Bidoof, she knew battling was exactly what she'd been born to do. She began training Inferno every day, journeying around to tougher areas of Sinnoh as he grew stronger and evolved, even catching some more pokémon along the way, blazing through gyms until she finally ended up at the doorstep of the Elite Four at the young age of fourteen, eight badges in hand. Fighting hard, she and her team made it all the way to challenging her idol, Cynthia. An intense battle ensued, but despite their best efforts, Marcie and her pokémon were defeated.

After her defeat, she promised Cynthia she would travel the world, and come back to challenge her again when she was strong enough. Now, after five years of doing just that, her team is not only complete, but seemingly ready to challenge her greatest rival once again. However, having been traveling the Kalos region, she heard about the Starlight Festival being held at the Delphinium Archipelago, and of course the battle tournament that would be held. Now she has come to the Archipelago to participate in the tournament, though if asked by anyone else, she would say she came to win it.

NAME: Andre Bellamy
AGE: 18

APPEARANCE: Andre is a tall young man, standing at exactly six feet. Although he doesn't like to do so, he excersises a little bit so that he doesn't look like a fat slob, and is physically fit and toned as a result. He doesn't spend too much time in the sun, claiming it is bad for your skin, and so he has a fair complexion. He keeps his blond hair short, and neatly styled at all times. There is never a hair out of place. He has a round boyish face, a small nose, and large baby blue, almond shaped eyes, which he claims are his best feature. His mouth is usually in some kind of smile. Except for his hair and eyebrows, he has no hair on his upper body. He's also pierced his earlobes so he can wear earrings.

Andre is very much into fashion. He likes expensive designer clothing, and he usually dresses more formally than kids his age. Being famous, he has a certain reputation to uphold, so most of his clothes are very expensive made by well-known designers. His wardrobe mostly consists of button down dress shirts, vests, trousers, and dress shoes. He even wears a tie and blazer often. He always keeps his clothes neat and tidy. It is rare to see him in a simple T-shirt and jeans, but he does own a few. His wardrobe contains a lot of bright colors, especially pink, his favorite color. He carries around a pink heart shaped messenger bag that has a red ribbon tied into a bow attached to it, and he occasionally wears a pair of pink, diamond encrusted, sunglasses. His favorite outfit is a pink dress shirt that fits him well, paired with a red vest over it. Around his neck is a red silk tie, and a burgundy blazer with gold buttons over that. On the bottom he wears beige trousers held up by a belt. His choice of footwear include a pair of black dress shoes with pink spats on them, and brown socks that go up to his calves. He accesorizes this with a pink beret on his head, and a pair of diamond stud earrings decorating his ears. He wears a Mega Charm around his neck, with a Gardevoirite as the stone.

Andre has developed a taste for diamonds and gemstones. He will occasionally be seen wearing random pieces of jewelry every now and then, regardless of whether it was intended for a man or not. He enjoys experimenting with fashion, and likes trying out many different things including wearing women's clothing. He feels women get nicer clothes than men do, and it lets him get away with wearing more jewelry than a man can. He can pass for a convincing woman when he's all made up. He often wears lavender scented perfume.

PERSONALITY: First off, Andre has tastes that are usually considered femmine. His favorite color is pink, and a lot of his things are pink and have hearts on them. He likes fashion, and he has a taste for cute things, and he's not really emabrrased by it. He really doesn't understand why boys in this country have an issue with guys liking that kind of thing. He just guesses it's because they're insecure about their masculinity. Andre is very obsessed with beauty and looking good. As a movie star, he feels he has to maintain a certain image, and because people don't want to be friends with an ugly person. He always makes sure he is perfectly groomed before leaving the house, and as such it takes him a while to get ready in the morning. Because he puts so much effort into looking good, he hates getting dirty, as it ruins all the work he put in.

He really values his relationships. He goes to great lengths to make friends and fans everywhere he goes. He often attends parties to meet new people. Someone not wanting to be his friend upsets him, and he will try to make that person his friend whether they want to be or not. For the same reason, he also likes love and romance, and as such he comes across as a flirt. He openly hits on people (he's openly bisexual, so guys as well as girls) he considers to be attractive, though he is usually more polite about it then most guys, because he is genuinely looking for a relationship. He also likes pairing people up who he thinks would make a good couple, regardless of gender and orientation, and jokingly teasing the two involved.

He can be charming and manipulative when he wants to be. He uses his charm, charisma, and the occasional bribe to get what he wants from people. He knows just what to say to win people over, which sometimes helps him get his way in many situations. While he is polite and well-mannered, and typically acts friendly towards others, he treats people like objects to make himself feel better. He can be self-centered, and disregards how other people feel and what they need if it's not benefiting him somehow. It's not something he does consciously, it's just how he is. He was brought up believing that people's affections can be bought, and it's worked out for him so far.

Having become used to being given whatever he wants, Andre has been spoiled by wealth. He has an appreciation for the finer things in life. He wears expensive clothes, drives around in fancy cars, takes exotic vacations, and freely spends money like it grows on trees. He is very generous with his money, since he has so much of it, trading a a few dollars for something better is no problem. He's also found it much easier to woo people with money. He especially enjoys being famous, and being adored by many. He doesn't mind the the craziness that comes with being a cleberty either. Bad publicity is still publicity, as long as people are talking about you, then that's all that matters. Andre has always been accustomed to life on top. His worst fear is losing it all, whether that be ruining his movie career, or losing his hard earned friends.

He speaks with a noticeable Kalosian accent, and uses French words a lot. However, he can speak Englsh just fine.

HISTORY: Born in Lumoise City, Andre's childhood is not what one would consider normal. His parents are both famous actors, and since his birth he's been in the lap of luxury. Due to his parents being famous actors, and therefore often busy, Andre rarely ever saw them. He was also homeschooled for a while, and was rarely able to leave the house. He felt lonely being in a big empty mansion with only caretakers that were too busy to keep the kid entertained. Andre's parents brought him expensive toys to make it up to him. For a while the shiny new toy would make him feel less lonely, but soon he would get bored of it, and the loneliness came back. He thought something better would solve the problem. When his parents announced a new trip, the young boy cried, and of course, his parents brought him a new, better, more expensive gift once they got back. The same thing happened, it would make him feel good for a while, but soon he'd get bored again. He would continue to ask and receive more and more expensive things throughout his childhood. It was great, and Andre grew accustomed to wealth and having anything he wanted on a whim. It was nice, but it still wasn't enough, the bad feelings still didn't go away.

The only gift his parents have given him that he hasn't gotten bored of, is a female Eevee they gave him when he turned ten that he named Jeanne. Even though Jeanne was a prideful Pokemon, the two of them bonded quickly due to their similar personality traits. She was the first true friend Andre ever had. At some point, his parents thought it was a good idea for him to start interacting with other kids, so they enrolled him in a private school. When Ande started going to school, and meeting other people his age, he got a lot of attention from them due to the fancy toys he had that they couldn't afford. At Recess, every kid wanted to play with him. Being with others made him feel just as good, if not better, than opening up a brand new toy. It was then he thought that if new toys won't help, then maybe people will.

He made lots and lots of friends, and Andre was happy for a while. Soon his family had to move away, and Andre was transferred to a new school. Having lost all the friends he made, Andre was upset for a while, but he soon worked to make new friends in this new place, and he was happy again. Then his parents moved once more, and the cycle continued. He was never truly content though, because he always had to leave all his friends behind. At the age of thirteen, Andre's family moved to Virbank City, Unova to further their careers. Right before this happened, Jeanne the Eevee evolved. Andre was expecting her to become an Espeon because it was the middle of the day, but when she finished glowing, she had become an adorable pink creature that Andre had never seen before. This new creature was called Sylveon, and it was apparently a Fairy type. A type that was only discovered recently. Andre was very pleased with how cute his new Sylveon is. Ever since he found out about her typing, Andre decided to train other cute Fairy types exclusively.

When the family arrived in Virbank, his parents encouraged their son to follow in their footsteps, and become an Actor. They put him in acting classes, and used their connections to pull a few strings, and get him a starring role in a major film. He didn't want to do this at first, but did it anyway to please his parents. While making the movie, he came to enjoy being on a movie set, and acting. When his first movie went to theaters, and became a box-office success, he enjoyed all the fame and attention it brought him. Or more specifically, he liked all the adoring fans. He also enjoyed the piles of money, expensive things, and all the glamour that being a movie star brings. He decided to pursue a film career, while also attending school when he wasn't filming. After doing that for a few years, he became as famous and successful as his parents. He is often chased by Papparazzi and crazed fans, and he is also often the subject of ridiculous rumors in gossip magazines. Usually, they involve him spending absurd amounts of money on something lavish, being seen at a party, or romance rumors with various other celeberties. (Not long after hitting puberty, he discovered how attractive people were, and the joys of love. Although he's never had a serious romantic relationship, much to his disappointment.) He doesn't mind all the craziness that much. As long as he has all his adoring fans, then all is well.

Andre has everything now, devoted fans, a luxurious life, and piles of money at his disposal. In between making movies, he also found time to catch and train other Fairy type Pokemon. He occasionally battles Gym Leaders to get publicity, and managed to earn a few Gym Badges this way. He also took part in a Contest while on a trip to Hoenn, and did well despite not actually winning. However, Contests and Gym battles are just hobbies to him, and he doesn't really take them seriously. Despite his success, he still isn't satisfied. He feels like something is missing, but he isn't sure what that is. He recently decided to visit the the Delphinium Archipelago, to participate in the Starlight Festival. The islands were very close to his native region, and he likes to make an appearance at festivals anyway. It was also an opportunity to show off his team of beautiful Fairies.

Esra stands on a height of about 1,70m, making her not overly tall, but certainly not short either. She moves with a certain flair that conveys that she is absolutely certain of herself and doesn't need anyone's approval on what she is doing with her life.

Growing up on a southern island has given Esra a love for summer clothing. She loves to wear shorts, short skirts, bikini's, and other light clothing like tops and loose shirts. A lot of layers make her feel smothered and annoy her though she likes wearing scarves occasionally. Her favorite colors are red and gold. Esra adores wearing jewelry and can never buy enough little trinkets. That would be where all her money would be going wouldn't she not need to spend it on rend and for her job. Her ears are pierced on 3 different spots (2 in her her earlobes and one in the upper part) and she has one piercing in her belly button.

On her side she always wears a bag that holds her trustworthy camera and some extra lenses. When she is working on her job she tends to wear black gloves to avoid that her camera get dirty.

PERSONALITY:

Esra is a confident person. Ever since she was little she had figured out her own opinions and she never let herself be distracted by the opinions of others While this might seem as a positive trait, which it of course in its own way is, it can also have a negative throwback. Esra has a hard time understanding opinions that she does not share though the life in the city has might this slightly less difficult. The city has so many people that disagree that somehow she has to adapt. Luckily her line of work doesn’t require much opinions from her besides the obvious.

Her own passion is photography which she took up when she was fifteen. To some people it seems contrasting greatly with her energetic and uplifting spirit. She has seemingly unbound energy and seems always to be moving. Yet she is also extremely focused and can work tirelessly for hours on editing a single photo on her computer until it is absolutely perfect. Esra likes perfection and isn’t quickly pleased with her own work what other people may say. If she deems it not good enough then it is not good enough and she will either throw it out or redo it.

Even though Esra seems like a people person, which she is to some extent, she can also do very well on her own, having been without many friends since the beginning of her life. She only has a small circle of really close friends and labels the other people acquaintances Among her good friends are, of course, her Pokemon. Esra chose her Pokemon with care as she wanted specific things of them Since she wanted to be able to get everywhere and photograph everything she carefully selected the Pokemons that could help her with this. A Flygon for exploring the sky, a Swampert for exploring the ocean, a Chandelure to find ghosts hidden in dark places and so on. Even though her Pokemon were selected she cares much for them and hardly goes anywhere without them.

HISTORY:

Esra was born in the small island village Dewford Town where she grew up as an only child with two loving parents. They had a simple house in the simple village and did simple work. Esra's father was a fishterman, who every day set out on the sea with his Swampert to make money. Her mother was a housewife who took joy in taking care of the lovely garden they had behind the house.

Because Dewford Town was so small there weren't many children of her age around and most of the time Esra was on her own. She quickly learned how to keep herself busy with things. She would go about the island on "adventures" and watch Pokemon play on the beach. This is how she met Kay, a small baby Aron who lived in the Granite Cave, when she was 12. Both human and pokemon seemed equally fascinated by each other and Esra decided to take him home to much dismay of her mother who told her to bring the little fellow back to his family. But by then the harm had already been done and Kay started to follow Esra around everywhere to the point that it became evident that he would not leave anymore.

The real breakthrough in Esra's life was when she got a camera for her 15th birthday. Instantly she became obsessed by photography. She would capture anything and would take long trips across the island to photograph everything, from pokemon to landscapes. The photo's that were to her liking soon got a place on her self created blog.

When she was 19 Esra decided that it was time to get going with her life. Her blog got considerable attention, but she could only do so much from such a small island. Using her saved up money Esra decided to pursue her career in photography in Kalos' biggest city: Lumiose City. Slightly taken aback with all her plans her parents let her go with the promise to visit home often.

Lumiose City was a change. A big change. Esra felt like she had arrived in the place to be. There was so much to see, so much to capture. After applying for several jobs with her portfolio Esra managed to snatch a job at the Journalist Office as photographer for local Lumiose City news while working her way up. She took on several classes to improve herself and managed to secure a good position for herself in the big city. A good enough position for her to be send to a festival close by where she will make photographs that will go along nicely with the articles that will no doubt be written about the event. Rumour even has it that famous moviestars are attending.

NAME: Stephen Specter
AGE: 18
GENDER: Male
HOMETOWN: Grew up in Verdanturf Town.

APPEARANCE

He most frequently wears a T-shirt and slacks, and sometimes sunglasses. He likes for his pokemon to outshine everything around them with their sheen, so his mild attire reflects this. His clothes are earth tones and faded pastel colors, which creates good contrast with his pokemon. The style he dresses in is similar to surfers, which he picked up from time spent in Sootopolis City.

Stephen was born with an untame look, but his nature quickly developed into quite the opposite. He combs his hair back into shape throughout the day, because otherwise it would sneakily form into tangles. This is a personal battle of his, and he knows that he must prove his dominance, or else his hair will revert to its primal ways.

PERSONALITY

Stephen is incredibly obsessive-compulsive. He often plays catch with his grooming instrument, the Fiber Brush. This, and he often examines the pokemon of passerby a little too closely. Once he noticed a Togepi following its trainer, and knelt in front of it, staring intensely into its eyes for several moments. This understandably upset the Togepi, which started bawling. It was an embarassing experience, but Stephen had to do it. At times of meeting new pokemon, he had to observe their potential. In fact, this was how he had first met all of his current pokemon party, and each of them had had their own unique reaction to his invasive style of greeting.

Interacting with people, Stephen comes off as amiable. It's easy to tell when he's got something else on his mind, however. Alot of conversations with him end abruptly as he walks off to a task; something that perhaps peeves others. For the most part, though, he can toss the ball of conversation around for quite awhile; he has an incredible attention span when it comes to meaningful talk. He seemingly can't afford small talk, however, and is easily frustrated with peoples negative traits if he hangs around long enough to recognize them. He is very blunt, not with the intention to hurt people, though.

The part of Stephen that led him to becoming a groomer, is definitely his wild side. When he goes about his trade he works like a man possessed; he is renown as one of the fastest groomers alive. Once, he was presented with a family of 16 Furfrou, with the request that he style all of them within a week. It took him 7 hours, and onlookers described his work as that of an ingenious madman. The Furfrou and their owner were astounded with his work, and payed his fee doubled for the quality and punctuality of the job.

HISTORY

Stephen enjoyed playing with the pokemon living in Verdanturf from a very young age. They were as much his friends as the kids at his school. When he was old enough to battle, he learned something more about pokemon; that each individual is filled with potential, and that the ones who can bring out that hidden power are the Pokemon Masters. At first, he thought he would try to become a member of the Frontier Brains, in his homeland of Hoenn. This dream was trumped, however, when he participated in his first official Contest.

His Eevee, which was his first captured pokemon, was A-grade contest material. He borrowed some grooming tools from his dad, and after some preparation entered Eevee into the contest. The results were massive; Eevee was overwhelmingly the judges favorite. So much so, that one trainer got particularly jealous.

The trainer said to Stephen; “Your Eevee may be good at getting attention, but if it can't battle then it's hardly as good of a pokemon as mine!” At this, Stephen had to challenge the trainer to a battle. It was Eevee versus Klang, a matchup clearly not in Stephens' favor. The trainer, having more experience than Stephen, easily predicted his moves and won the fight. On that day, Stephen knew he would have to master two aspects of pokemon training to fulfill his dream. This goal has led him to join the Starlight Festival, and he intends to win a great many honors for his pokemon there.

NAME: Raphael Marrete

AGE: 18

GENDER: Male

HOMETOWN: Dendemille Town, born and raised in there. He has travelled to many regions, though he hasn’t explored them completely, often sticking to just the snowy parts of them.

APPEARANCE:


He stands at 1.85 m and has a muscular build. He usually tries to look at least a little formal, since he likes to look at least presentable to others. His favourite choice of attire is a deep blue blazer with light blue details and matching pants, along with a pair of black boots which he wears above his pants. He also wears a white dress shirt under the blazer and a sleeveless dark t-shirt under that. He also carries around a pair of shades, in his breast pocket, though he usually just uses them during Pokémon Contests as part of his attire, or, obviously, when there’s a lot of sun. Also, as part of his on-stage attire, he wears a pair of fingerless gloves.

PERSONALITY: Raphael, at first glance and without a companion, seems to be quite the happy-go-lucky guy. Not minding others and just spouting whatever comes to mind, and also at times he seems to be quite the flirter. This is partly false and true at the same time, yes he is someone who often spouts whatever is in his mind, but he also tries to be considerate of others and, when he offends someone due to his loose tongue and habit of saying what comes to his mind, he will try to make amends in any way he is able to, often reaching ridiculous proportions and over-the-top and not needed solutions for a problem which started as something small.

As you may have noticed already, Raphael also tends to exaggerate and overthink things a lot. When in presence of someone he doesn’t know, he often cuts himself on mid-sentence, to avoid screwing up his first impression. Sometimes, even the littlest of things with no real deep meaning at all becomes something big in his mind, while he searches for a hidden meaning which isn’t there. Also, around people he just met he tends to become something similar to a butler, attending to whatever they may need, just in case he screws up he can repay it to others by being of use for something.

It is to be noted that he does not understand the meaning of ‘context’, since he often takes things literally when one searches to say something with a deeper meaning or, in the complete polar opposite, he searches for a deep meaning in something. All of this shows that he can be quite the nervous guy and often fails to see what other mean, or what others may feel like. In one way, it can be said that he is somewhat of a klutz when it comes to relating with others, but those who really are his friends know that he is someone truly kind and caring, and, when times need it, someone harsh that will probably scold you when you do something wrong. Many say he can be quite the older brother when you get to know him well. When he is others, though, he also grows a little more confident of himself.

However, both with his Pokémon and in Pokémon contests, his attitude has a 180° turn, well, something like that. He is still kind and caring yes, but he becomes more confident and more of a show-off, often trying to show how beautiful his Pokémon are. Still, it doesn’t mean he’ll look down upon others. In Pokémon Contests he becomes quite the showman, the only thing in his mind being how he’ll strike others with his performance and because of that, in every and each one of his presentations he tries to leave a lasting impression, so that whenever they go to another Pokémon Contest they’ll remember him.

HISTORY: Raphael grew up near in Dendemille Town, near the Frost Cavern where he and some of his friends used to play, in the outside, of course, since inside it there are lots of wild Pokémon. He loved, and still loves, the cold climate that was in there and how it was always snowy around the Frost Cavern. With his friends he often played snowball wars or competed to see who could make the best snowman and in his house, he would play with his father’s Vanilluxe.

As he grew up, his love for snowy places just grew and grew stronger and, when it was time for him to get his first Pokémon, his father decided to give him a recently hatched female Snorunt that he acquired through a trade. The day he received his Snorunt was the happiest day of his life, so much, that he begged his father to let them go to the Frost Cavern and train, but, of course, the father refused, saying that he would accompany Raphael to the Frost Cavern the next day. However, kids are impatient. That same day, in the shadows of the night, he slipped out of his house and headed to the Frost Cavern with his untrained Snorunt.

Needless to say, his Snorunt was defeated by the wild Pokémon roaming there trying to protect Raphael. When Raphael took it to the Pokémon Center, he was obviously scolded by his parents, but still, that didn’t matter. He felt bad for letting his new friend being hurt just to protect him. He was dead set on not letting such a thing happen again. He was sure to train every day and make both him and his Snorunt grow stronger, because if they were stronger there was no way he would need to see his friend hurt again. It wasn’t surprising when he left Dendemille Town to travel on his own, saying he wanted to see every place where snow fell not only in the Kalos region, but in every region.

While he was travelling, he discovered that battle didn’t quite thrilled him, but Pokémon Contests where he could make everyone see his friends and how spectacular they were. He wanted people to see his friends as beautiful as he saw them. So, apart from wanting to become a great Pokémon Coordinator, he also wants all of his Pokémon to be as happy as they can get and because of that, he also learnt how to cook, so he could give his Pokémon handmade snacks and make them even happier. Also, his snacks works as an incentive to do their best in Pokémon Contests.

He is going to the Starlight Festival to participate in the Pokémon Contest that will be held there and also because he wants his Pokémon to see how lively a festival can be, even if the weather in the island isn’t quite his thing, he is sure he can withstand it because of his Pokémon.

Fuuka, a female Froslass — Fuuka is the first Pokémon he ever had.

Rinna, a female Kirlia — A Pokémon Raphael caught as a Ralts not long ago.

Luna, a female Absol — A little too arrogant and proud. Raphael takes great care of her fur.

Palse, a male Scizor — More approachable and cute in nature than one would think. Loves to be petted.

Mira, a female Weavile — Loves to have her claws sharpened.

Snowy, a male Snover — Playful but lazy.

Alex Greyson

NAME: Alexander Greyson goes by Alex
AGE: 19
GENDER: Male
HOMETOWN: New Bark Town

APPEARANCE:

PERSONALITY: Alex has always been a great person. He helped Professor Elm in his lab as well as helping some of the younger kids learn how to train their Pokémon. His mother and father loved him a lot and as a result he and his brother got along great especially with his brother just starting his journey. With all of the helping he has done in Professor Elm's lab Alex has learned quite a bit and because of that he wants to learn everything he can about Pokémon all over the world.

When it comes to his Pokémon Alex is nothing but kind and loving. His Pokémon all respect him as a trainer and love him as their friend. Whenever one of them gets hurt he feels bad and does everything he can to make them feel better and they all love it. While battling he is serious and understanding and in his home town he's known as a brilliant strategist and he has won even with a type disadvantage. His brother looks up to him and wants to learn everything he can but his parents are making his little brother at least collect the eight Johto badges like Alex did when he went on his journey.

HISTORY: Growing up Alex always loved Pokemon and being in the same town as a well known Pokemon professor was even better. Often taking entire days to spend time in the lab Alex leaned quite a bit about Pokemon human relationships and now uses that in his own training methods. When he turned 10 Professor Elm gave him the Typhlosion he still uses today as a Cyndaquil. Alex and the small fire type became quick friends and the two took off on their journey.

Shortly thereafter Alex had collected all eight badges in his region and wound up coming in 10th at the Johto League. Upon returning home he finds his brother having grown up quite a bit and learning to train Pokemon on his own by training with their pet Growlithe. Alex gave him pointers and soon decided that he wasn't done challenging himself and set out across the regions in search of friends, Pokemon, and awesome battles to help himself grow as a person and trainer.

NAME: Conor Cotton
AGE: 18
GENDER: Male
HOMETOWN: Viridian City

APPEARANCE:
Conor is a tall, athletically built young man. He stands at a height of six-foot-two, with board, slouching shoulders. He has a pair of caramel-brown eyes and short charcoal black, messy hair. His body is covered in scratches and bruises from his rough and high-risk-high-reward adventures.

Conor is often seen in a red-orange tee which buttons up near the neck and a pair of sandy kakis, with boots. He also wears a pair of black gloves and a matching baseball cap with a red-orange Pokeball logo off to the side. Every now and then Conor can be seen wearing his spring jacket, which is green and black. His belt is also a holster for his Pokemon, carrying three on each side. Conor also carries a messenger bag which holds extra clothes, books, and other random things he keeps for and from his adventures.

PERSONALITY:
Bittersweet is a perfect adjective to describe Conor and his personality. As with the word when you first meet the youth he can be a bit on the bitter side, being cold, harsh, and candid with his words. He doesn’t like conversing much and finds it annoying to have to convey his emotions through words rather than just through actions because to him actions speak louder than words. His blunt and frank attitude is more of a mask than anything though, with Conor being more so an awkward and shy conversationalist. Also he has been hinted at being a socially awkward outcast by the children he grew up with.

The second part of Conor’s bittersweetness is when you really peel back and get through to Conor’s cold exterior. That is when you get to meet his sensitive and genuinely caring side. Deep down Conor is just a shy and loving young man, showing this side to his Pokémon and family members more than anyone else. He treats his Pokémon with tender care and his family with the upmost respect, as he does with most elders.

Acting and being bitter and cold has made Conor somewhat serious most of the time. He usually does something for a specific reason and does that specific something by the books, never really drawing away from it. The only time he ever does something that is unconventional and stupid is when there is no other way or choice to do or finish something, like escaping from a horde of Beedrill’s by jumping off a fifteen foot cliff into a lake. That was probably one of the stupidest choices he’s ever made, but Conor usually makes smarter more intelligent choices in and for his adventures.

Out of all his attitude and personality traits, being frank and honest is a high quality that the friends he does have appreciate. If you can get over the fact that Conor is a jerk then he won’t be one to you. He takes a bit of getting used to, but once the two of you truly appreciate and like one another than Conor will probably be one of the greatest friends you will ever have.

HISTORY:
Conor was born to a very rich and powerful family who had a lot of influence in Viridian City and in Kanto. His father was a business man who partnered and worked closely with the various gym leaders in Kanto, helping them with keeping their gyms in the most tip-top conditions. Both his parents helped design the interiors of gyms and business buildings throughout Kanto. The power of his family didn’t just come from his parents though, both his maternal and fraternal grandparents owned big corporations which spread throughout both Kanto and Johto.

Ever since he was little all Conor could remember was being raised by a nanny and butlers. His parents were always out of town for work, building places for others, and meeting with various businessmen and entrepreneurs, which left him at home with his nannies and butlers. He was first introduced to Pokémon through his various nannies, butlers, and workers who his parents hired for their large home in Viridian City. They each taught him about Pokémon little by little, and soon enough Conor grew a big interest in them, wanting to have his own Pokémon.

Growing up he was an only child, learning how to be independent and self-efficient, but that also made him anti-social and distant with others his own age and more attracted and respectable towards those who were older than him. Throughout his childhood he was teased and bullied by kids for being too proper and boring even though he had a lot of money from his family.

Eventually at thirteen he asked his parents if he could participate in what he believed to be a rite of passage, a Pokémon adventure. At first his parents rejected the idea of Conor traveling throughout the world alone. He was a Cotton and Cotton’s were in the world of business, not the world of Pokémon. It wasn’t until he pleaded with them for over year that he was finally allowed to travel throughout Kanto.

Throughout the years he had been traveling Conor has partnered and befriended various Pokémon, sending them back to stay with workers at a farmhouse his family owns on the outskirts of Viridian City. He has also traveled and participated in many regional gyms, leagues, and contests, making a small name for himself.

Amongst the regions he found himself traveling, Conor landed in Kalos more specifically the Delphinium Archipelago to participate in the Starlight Festival and its various events.

Male
Bo is only a few months old, being a brand new baby that Conor decided to raise with him and his journey through Kalos. He’s energetic, fun, and sweet, also very curious about the world.

Milo the Sableye
Male
Being the jokester of the group, Milo is always smiling and laughing. He’s full of energy and lively, but sometimes his pranks can get to be a little much for Conor and the others.

Rosetta the Serperior
Female
Rosetta is motherly and loving. She is protective over Conor and the rest of the group.

Olly the Tropius
Male
Olly is a gentle soul, also known for being one of Conor’s most dependable Pokémon. Despite his already big size, Olly is quite big for the average Tropius, standing at a height of seven feet exactly.

Adele the Milotic
Female
The Milotic is also known to be very graceful and elegant, reminding Conor of his real mother. She’s posh and very stuck-up, but she can also be a real sweetheart.

Ein the Gallade
Male
Ein is brash and full of life and energy. He’s strong and brave, your typical hot-head. Follows the strange motto of punching first and thinking later, which is strange because Conor hates that motto.
