So far each post has been truly enjoyable to read. ^^

And here is my second character.

N/A so far.

Female

Born in Hials, as the granddaughter of Girvus Rynir. The youngest daughter of her family.

Length and build :
Around the 1.65m and though a fit and trained body, slim.
Weight :
Around 62 kg.
Sexuality :
Heterosexual.

Appearances :

Occupation :
Currently has graduated from the Academy in Deliar and serves in the 16th Legion, with the rank of optio.

''It takes a single man to lead an army to victory, but it is the army that bleeds for it.''

Favorite Food :
Fruit, specially apples.

Favorite Weather and Season :
Weather that is dark of clouds, indicating a storm or rain hail is approaching. Her favorite season is fall.

Patron God/Goddess :
Rolor, due her profession, but Irtan for luck. As she sorely misses that last one.

Personality :
Patricia is a woman that has suffered quite the misfortune in her life. But never the less, it also showed her stubbornness of not giving up on something as she had managed to go through the Academy in Deliar. She is straight forward, to the point she can be considered very blunt. Unless she is forced to bow her head towards a superior in rank and status, which is something she despises. Some say it is because she can track her lineage back to the Rynir House, but she says its because her own pride. One that holds little fear, she values no virtue like that of the knights of honor do. Instead, she values pragmatic views on the world as she deems honor and chivalry something to the past.

History :
Born as the youngest daughter in a Rynir Family in Hials, Patricia had an easy childhood. Even when she had several older siblings, she had little to fear as she would sleep with a full belly and in a warm bed. More than most people could say of their childhood. In Hials, she lived till her eighteen. Learning how to write and read, along with how to act in court were bestowed upon her. But Patrica wouldn't become a very important person. The most attention and grooming went to her older siblings. Like most youngest, she decided to take it up to the army, hoping to earn a name of respect there. Again, being part of the high nobility and her House willing to suffice, she was able to get to study at the Academy. Learning the theory of warfare and leadership, Patrica spent two years in training.

During that time, she had little to no contact with the High House. Neither she or them wrote a letter to each other. The only communication was that she heard rumours and such. But neither in that was she interested. The only objective that mattered was to graduate and show that she was capable of becoming a person. Not just a some fifth daughter of a family that was part of a High House.

Finally graduating, Particia entered the service of the Awom Legion, being appointed to the 16th legion as an optio. Though she has no experience on leading people, only having learned theory, she hopes her pragmatic view will help her while she tries to obtain some of the vital experience one needs.

Theme song :

Clothing and/or armor :
During service, Patricia wears her armor, from a good quality armor smith. It consist of a coat of plates, a vest of mail armor underneath it with the combination of a gambeson vest.. Next to that, she wears the standard leather marching boots, arm bracers and her helmet.

Tools and weapons :
=======
Name :
An aiming sword.
Description :
Patricia's weapon of choice.
Appearance :

=======
Name :
A shield.
Description :
Seems clear to me.
Appearance :

=======
Name :
Hector
Description :
The steed of Patricia, trained to become a war horse. She has gained it with her House paying for it.
Appearance :
A rather imposing horse, true to the name of being called a warhorse. Often with a protective headgear, Patricia rides on him while leading her soldiers.
=======

Skill/Abilities :
* Good swordfighter,
* Skilled horserider,
* Can read and write
* Is good at coming up with tactics and strategies.
* Good reflexes,
* Good stamina
Traits
Level headed,
Distrust many at first sight,
Inexperienced Optio

I swear loyalty to the High King of the Empire.

Also, before any misconceptions are made:

The Barbarians aren't "Barbarians" as we know them. They are Barbarians as the Empire knows them. AKA: Anyone not under the fair rule and advanced political system of the Empire that gave everyone freedom and whatnot. They're not from the Empire, and hence they are lesser beings, especially because they have those weird opressive forms of governments! Pff!

This means that the Barbarians are actually Feudal Kingdoms, much like European Kingdoms of the 13th-14th century, attacking us because they're being driven to us by a larger tribe of real 'Barbarians', or the Huns of our IC world that drove the Barbarians into Rome. Probably a people riding horses a lot. As a result, the barbarians we will face are actually pretty much identical to us except that their armies are equipped less well, and are not at all centralised (aka, we get equipment from our military, they have to buy it themselves). They are most likely peasant levies and men-at-arms etc.

Yeah I shoulda thought about that, haha.

Being an Englishman, and separated from most of you by a six hour time period, I give you all full permission to narrate Jymson's actions in small amounts... such as pouring you a drink. He's rough spoken but a fairly agreeable fellow, if you haven't realized, so portray him as such. This'll prevent the RP from grinding to a halt with 20 characters all waiting for their ale!

Actually this CS is a near copy of a previous CS, Templar. And the only reason for that is because there is a damn Ranger Corps. Who'se idea was that anyways? Basically someone else made a character that is basically Halt of the Ranger's Apprentice with a few adaptions, and now you make a character that even has Halt as the fucking appearance picture.

AAAHGRHRRRRHHH

Oh well fine.I'll accept him, but along with it I send a reminder to every RP'er playing a Ranger:

The Ranger's Apprentice series is a great read, but isn't exactly that realistic at some points. Especially concerning the skills of the different rangers. You can be very skilled at all the skills you filled in, but if I see you hitting targets the size of my butt from 150m away as they do in the books, I will personally come perform a dissection on your characters with a blunt spoon.

I hope you understand my point, and that I will not have to repeat myself. Alice ordered me to be strict about realism, and the more Rangers I see that have the cool-sounding but if you think about it quite ridiculously large skillset of the Ranger's Apprentice series' rangers I see popping up, the more I feel the need to slap people on their butts with a winded up towel.

Also, Templar, your character isn't exactly a veteran if he's only 24 years old.

EDIT: Leather as armour is quite ineffective. It'll do next to nothing versus any decent weapon. It also has no padding underneath. It's just an additional 'tougher' skin you put on, that might prevent a knife slash from doing too much damage or even drawing blood. Most other things will make a mess though.

EDIT 2: Alice, accepted. I find it slightly disturbing though that you pick a 13th century armour with a roughly somewhere between 7th-11th century Saxon spangenhelm. But do whatever you want ;D

And on that well timed note, I've updated my CS to include that my character is a Ranger :P

It was Chrome's idea. He and I had discussed that faction through and through and he will govern it in the story. But though they are rumoured to be elite, they have some limitations that should seriously nerf them. As well preventing that we have an army of rangers wandering about. Also, stay polite Rory.

Fantastic, well that solves some of it. I also work from 6am to 4pm on a daily basis, have a flat to look after a fiancée to keep happy, so my posting window is usually 18:00-20:00. This is perfectly adequate for my to fulfill my daily posting obligations, but it does mean I struggle to fast-fire posts sometimes. So if at any point Jymson is holding someone up, and it wont require allot of input from him for them to continue, then by all means narrate at will! :D

Well, having conferred with Crome by PM's about my CS, He thought it acceptable
and since they are Rangers of the same Corps, why wouldn't they be similar?

and I've not read any of the Ranger Apprentices, I merely liked the image.

.but since it meets not with your standards, I'll take it down and re work it when I have time too.

Though Roro is quite good with GMíng, he doesn't always mean anything with a passive aggressive tone. He can overreact in some cases. If you like the picture, keep it. As long as nobody has it for their character image, it should be fine. (If it also makes some sense, that is ;) )

As he said, I only have two modes: Too nice, and too mean. I am just lamenting about the fact that it is getting dangerously close to that, and I wish to tell you to take the skills of Rangers as portrayed in the Ranger's Apprentice with a spoon of salt, before applying them here. I like the CS and type of character myself, but I am against large lists of competences without incompetences, which is basically how the ranger's are portrayed in the books. The only thing they can't do is fight in melee, but their other skills effectively reduce the chance of getting involved in one to zero.

My post is assuming the 10th Awom Legion both exists and that it is stationed in Roduma (for now anyway). If any of this is conflicting with previously stated information, please let me know.

Also, please feel free to assume that my character is entering the Boot Buckle as of my post's ending. I'm rather terrible at transitions.
