The floors were cold and the hallways were empty.

Those were the two things that the girl had immediately noticed as she walked, in a slow, staggering pace. Of course by now, there was the evident point that had to be made: she had no idea where she was, who she was. Nothing. Just blank or disorientation, static in her mind that was the result of unknown . . screaming? She wasn't sure why the thought had brought a crooked smile to her face, either.

Perhaps, it had to do with the corpses she saw back there: at her room. Or maybe, she was just beyond tired and imagining it. Despite seeing the corpses, she did not vomit, in fact, her stomach felt so empty. She was sooo hungry and while it seemed like the least of her problems, it was the one that could be solved for now. So the girl, with her long, black hair, continued her march across the halls, her thin arms crossed as she called out for any other existing life, "Hello? Is anyone else here?"

When she (Lynn) wakes up the first thing she notices is that she doesn't know where she is. She lays there for a moment trying to think. She abruptly sits up realizing she doesn't know who she is! She rests her head on one hand for a second. Her other hand is stinging a bit so she looks at it to see a small cut across the palm.

Out if the corner of her eye she see something. When she looks she sees the corpses. A bunch of then . She immediately moves away from them falling off the other side of the bed. Then she gets up and sprints out the door and down the hall , not looking where she's going. As she runs she starts crying from the image she just saw.

Not a single coherent thought crossed Jr.'s mind, because he was running on pure adrenaline and terror and sweat. Seeing those dead men on the floor, it hadn't come to him that he might be responsible for killing them, so disoriented he was. He might have gone on like that for a long time, if he hadn't been jarred out of his shock by the sound of someone calling out. It took him a few moments, but he was finally able to force himself to speak.

"I'm here...I think."

The room was oddly silent...

A tall, abnormally thin figure sat huddled on top of a metallic 'bed', which was more of a torture table rather than an actual comforting cushion. Not much was distinguishable at first glance. The figure was male, obviously, and his hair was a dull, yet shiny white that flowed down his head, shrouding his body in a haze of long locks of hair. His skin was a pale gray-ish white, white odd, rune-like markings dotting over the skin at random intervals, a glowing crimson in color. Crimson eyes glinted in the dull lighting.

"...I...am Zed."

The whisper was sudden, considering the heavy silence that had plagued the room for the past hours. The voice came from the teenager sitting on the bloodied torture table - nothing but a whisper. The voice was relatively deep, with a lilting undertone that had a hypnotizing ting. 'Zed' suddenly chuckled, and then coughed, his voice changing once more.

"Zed. I like that." It was the same deep tone, but instead of the lilting, musical, sad tint to it...the voice was now demonic in tone, sounding as if multiple men were speaking at once, with different emotions and mentalities. Zed looked up, white hair falling backwards to reveal his narrowed crimson eyes, abnormal smirk, and noble features. He gave a glance around him, at the countless corpses - some decapitated, others eviscerated, and even some with their throats, lungs, and innards ripped out. Oddly enough, he felt no remorse, disgust, or sadness.

If anything, he wanted to laugh.

"Corpse Party, right? Hah!" he stood up on shaky legs, noticing quickly enough that nothing covered him other than a flimsy towel. With a snort, he ripped it off of his body and began tearing clothing articles off of the different corpses, matching them up into something that he wouldn't mind wearing. In the end, he had on a pair of ripped jeans, indescript sneakers, and a heavily torn lab coat that looked more like a half-jacket/cape. He kept himself shirtless, showing a surprisingly muscular and lithe torso that was dotted and scarred with numerous crimson tattoos and scars. "That's more like it..." Zed rolled his neck, feeling the bones pop into place in a familiar sense of pained enjoyment. He flexed his fingers. The bones rippled once again.

"Interesting!"

He clenched his right fist. Accompanying the sound of tearing flesh, 5 pure white bone 'claws' jutted from each finger tip, although no blood followed this transformation. Zed's grin changed into a confused grimace, before the smirk was back. Interesting indeed. Retracting his 'Bone Claws', and jutting them out again, this time in both hands, Zed nodded and retracted them once more. "Now, let's see what's going on here." He shoved open the door that closed his 'torture room' from the outside world, being hit face-first with a blast of coldness. The metallic corridor caused another chuckle to escape the white-haired teen, and he entered the hall, turning around just as a crying girl ran past him.

"What." he murmured, giving her back a glance before jogging languidly after her, and towards the sound of other voices, not knowing that his sharp-toothed grin and appearance could be seen as frightening to a confused looking girl. "Yo, woman, what's going on here?!"

Ellie woke in what appeared to once have been a room. She attempted to get up, but realized her wrist was chained to the floor. Ellie closed her eyes and concentrated all of her energy on the chain, crushing it with the force of her very own gravity. She smiled, and even wider so when she noticed a few bodies exploded on the floor. All she could do was laugh. That is, until, she noticed that the perfect whiteness of her gown had been soiled with blood. Her smile disappeared. "No. This just won't do. It won't. I have to find something else." She opened the blood covered door, and stepped out into the hallway, slipping from room to room in an attempt to find something clean. She stopped in one room that had a patient that had not yet awakened. Perfect...
She stepped back out of the room, spinning around in a new black gown, smiling widely. "Yes! It will never get stained now!" She laughed, then began to delight in licking the experimenters' blood off of her skin, enjoying the rusty taste. When she had licked most of it off of her arms, she decided it would be much more efficient to wash herself off in something else. As much as she enjoyed it, she knew it was ineffective. She then went off down the hallway in search of water, giggling the whole way and leaving bloody footprints behind her.

'Cold....sticky...and i'm thirsty...' He hated to cold, the stickiness and thirst were unpleasant, but they didn't hold a candle to the spine chilling cold that ran up and down his body. The 'he' in this scenario was John G. Alexander, however he did not know that just yet. John slowly opened his eyes and hissed with annoyance as the slitted pupil's in his cold grey eyes expanded and contracted from the sudden shift in brightness. "My head...where am I?" John muttered as he sat up and winced as a flare of pain shot through his skull, he reached up to grip his head, only to recoil as he felt that same sticky wetness now on his hair. The boy stared down at his hand, then to his shirt which were both covered in some sort of viscous brown substance. John's tongue flickered from his mouth as he leaned towards the substance. He didn't quite know why he did it, however it felt natural, besides, it helped him discern precisely what was stuck to him: coagulated blood.

He grimaced a bit, more so at the fact that it was cold and sticky rather than the fact that it was blood, however now that left the question of where the blood had come from. John didn't need to wait long for an answer as he examined the room which contained several corpses, each was wearing a white jacket, was long dead and was sporting a peculiar injury of some sort. One man, appearing in his forties, lay dead with his head twisted at an odd angle and his throat covered in bruises, another -this one a young woman- sported a horribly swollen face with two large puncture wounds in her cheek, a final man, who's age was indiscernible due to most of his face having been torn off, and, oddly enough there was a syringe embedded in his eye socket. John stared at the bodies blankly, feeling nothing, not shock, not fear, not even a morbid sense of curiosity, just apathy.

John pried his shirt off, then reached over and ripped the sleeve from the forty year old man's jacket and wiped the coagulated blood from himself before standing and walking out. The boy had no idea who he was, where he was, or why he was there, nor did he particularly care at the moment, there was only one thing he cared about now: finding a drink. Flickering his tongue a few times, John caught the scent of other people, once again though he wasn't sure of how he knew it. Not that it mattered though, people meant there might be something to drink, so to the people he would go. John walked down the hallway towards the source of the smells.

The girl continued her trek, stopping, surprised. A voice had called back to her. She put her hands behind her, cradling something sharp, something sharp and with a handle . . she had originally found the knife in her room and that wasn't even the most sickening part. The most twisted part of all was her lack of resistance when she reached out to pick it up.

"Where are you?" She called out, continuing a slow, straight stride down the hallway, with her arms casually hanging to her sides, the knife staying hidden against her back.

Jr. looked around the corner, mind flashing between trying to understand why he felt so sweaty and where this other person was. When he saw her standing across the hallway from him, he was hesitant to approach and instead resorted to yelling at her from where he was.

"Over here. Do you...do you have any idea what's going on?"

Lynn says then turns around and starts heading towards the female.

Zed momentarily stops his jog, running a gray hand through his river of white hair. "Yeah, sure." he smiled, mentally wondering why the girl would trust a random guy in a dark hallway.

A long, jagged, and sharp lance made of pure bone began jutting from his forehead like a horn, heading swiftly towards the back of the girl's head, but Zed paused. Why would he kill her? Other than the fact that it would provide a momentary realm of entertainment...it would generally be stupid in the long run. He sighed, reaching up and breaking the bone spear off of his forehead, leaving a curving, jagged bone 'horn' jutting from his forehead, hidden slightly by his long white hair.

"Alright, let's see who else is here..." he muttered, twirling the bone spear through his fingers before clenching it in his hand, running forward to reach past the small girl, and into another corridor. He saw a black-haired girl, and another male, both standing in the hall. A disembodied chuckle escaped his chest, and Zed slipped to the wall, keeping to the darkness as he moved closer to listen in on their conversation. He didn't know what was going on either. The teen momentarily glanced over at the other Hallway, hearing Lynn walking towards the tiny group.

"This should be interesting information..."

Ellie pranced down the hallway, unaware of her surroundings or the other people, humming to herself. Not watching where she was going, she bumped into Lynn. "How messy," She whispered. "They can't even clean out the hallways..." She continued walking past her like she doesn't exist, still looking for something to wash herself off with.

The girl turned a corridor, stopping short. Immediately, she felt a sinking feeling in her stomach and her grasp on the knife loosened. Looking back at her was a young boy, no older than fifteen, with short brown hair. So innocent, so pure. What's a boy this young doing in a place like this? Come to think of it, the girl wasn't aware of her own age. She had yet to see herself in the mirror . .

"Hey," she said in a soft voice, not realizing how coarse her throat actually was. She had quite a thirst and needed some water desperately. "Are you alright?"

Blonde hair splayed out over James' face as he lay on that rubber-coated table. His senses registered the stench of burnt flesh and the occasional crackle of electricity, followed by the ragdoll-like spasming of something vaguely humanoid on the ground, but he'd gotten used to it over his past few waking hours. The room itself was very chilly, and most definitely devoid of any life apart from the blonde young man staring into the ceiling. Despite looking like a vegetable, or a corpse, he was most definitely lucid. James put a hand to his face and combed away his hair with his wiry fingers.

"Ha...It's gettin' pretty chilly... Might even get a cold."

James smiled at the sound of his voice, like it was something novel. "...My throat's all dry and raw..." he coughed, massaging his throat as he sat up on the table. His eyes registered the charred corpses on the ground, but he made no remark from it. Sure it gave him a pretty damn big scare when he first woke up, especially the one that he found on top of him, but after a decent bit of panicking and examining his room as well as the general surrounding area, he'd managed to more or less accept that they existed and adjusted his approach as necessary. After all, in a survival-horror game like Amnesia, going on without preparations was tantamount to suicide.

However, this time his eyes registered something... different. Neural synapses of multiple organisms, to be specific. Humanoid by the looks of their nervous systems... "Great. Looks like I'm in Dead Patient, not Outlast... Or at least I hope I'm not in Outlast," he remarked, dropping off his seat on the table. While he wasn't naked or anything, it was still rather cold, so he took a lab coat - fortunately unmarred by the burnt corpse it was on - and managed to fashion it into a tattered white scarf and jacket. "Let's go meet the neighbors," he nodded, striding out of the room and heading towards the grouping of electrical signals.

Although, before he could get too close, he stopped and leaned against the corner wall that was the only thing between him and them. Stranger danger was most definitely in full effect in this abandoned... Hospital? Insane asylum? Lab? Whatever they were in, he wasn't sure that just announcing his presence would be the safest thing to do. Especially since it was quite evident he'd need to get close to actually electrocute somebody, if his earlier attempt to fire off a Cole MacGrath-style lightning bolt was anything to go by.

'Just wait and see...'

Vindle woke up, extremely dizzy. "Blood..." was the first thing that he said, seeing corpses. He got up, holding his head. Slowly getting up, he opened the door and walked out into the hall. I'm surprisingly calm about seeing that, he thought. Nearly falling over, Vindle caught himself.
"Am I in hell? I don't remember anything..." he said, making his way slowly down the hallway.

"I think I'm alright but...I'm awfully sweaty. I thought maybe it would go away after a while but it hasn't...I guess you don't know what's going on either then." He sighed, and looked kind of hopeless and scared. He thought some more and realized he was still shouting at her from the other end of the hallway. Cautiously, he approached. "Though, if there's two of us here there must be other people, right? I hope they're not out to get us or anything..."

Of all the things that this kid could be complaining about . . it's that he's sweaty?

The girl was close to rolling her eyes, but instead, she kept an arm on each shoulder in the form of an "X" as if it were a safety net. "Right. . well, then. What's your name?" It didn't take long for her to become aware that there was someone else not too far away. They were making so much noise . . it was so obvious. She turned herself sideways towards the wall, holding the knife tighter.

As she turned to do so, she came face to face with another girl, right around the boy's age. The girl almost screamed out, but the facial expression of the other girl stopped her. This girl was just as lost as the other two and her question confirmed her confusion. The girl shook her head in response, "No. . I'm sorry. I don't have the slightest clue."

As John wandered towards the sources of the smells he slowly started to become aware of something very peculiar. He could sort of see the outlines of objects in a different spectrum, every now and then it was if his vision was shifting between the slightly dull coloring of the hall he was in only to explode into a vibrant portrait of colors that were both hot and cold, however nothing stuck out quite like the vibrant reddish oranges that were several meters away. John picked up his pace, his bare feet slapped against the cold floor, each step coming down quicker than the last. So focused on the vibrance of three red colors nearby was John that he failed to realize precisely what the outlines were shaped like until he was almost upon them. John's vision snapped back into it's regular state just before he could plow into a group of people, causing the boy to curse and stumble a bit in his effort to avoid the two females and male. John avoided the group and fell to the floor, only to bolt back to his feet with a grimace as he felt his bare torso come in contact with the floor. 'People!', The words flashed in John's mind like a neon sign as he jumped back a bit to make some distance and began to flicker his forked tongue at the three rapidly in a combination of curiosity and surprise.
