That's perfectly alright! Convention season is starting up here this weekend, so I've been rather busy myself. Though I have to say, I am curious as to how she's going to respond to his question of what she does for a living!

I am so sorry that I suddenly vanished from you! We had a terrible cold/flu going around our home and we haven't been able to do anything. I am just starting to be able to talk without breaking into a fit of coughing... And since that is essential for dictation, I was unable to do anything. But I am feeling much better now and only have the occasional cough or stuffiness, so I decided I needed to let you know that I was still alive. Ha ha.

But considering that it has been over a week since my last reply, I was also going to check with you if you would still like to continue our story. I am happy to finish up the reply I started before I got sick and get it posted if you are still interested. But I also understand if you have moved on and would rather put the story aside. I just thought I would check with you. :)

Again, sorry about not notifying you earlier. The flu is such a pain.

I'm glad to hear from you! While I was wondering what might have happened, I hadn't descended into outright panic yet. Believe me when I say that I know the harsh realities of real life! Usually I don't give up on an RP until at least a month has passed since last hearing from my partner.

Do I wish to continue? Hm. Can I say "yes" loudly or quickly enough? (Laughing delightedly) By all means, if you are still willing to continue then so am I. Your writing style is wonderful and humorous, intelligent without being overly verbose, and I am glad to have you as a partner on this story! Write at what pace is most comfortable and convenient for you, and let us see what we can make of it together!

The convention went... well. Sadly a few others in between now and then have not, and my resources are becoming a bit strained. Still, there are two more to go this month for me, so we'll see what the tides of fortune might bring in.

I can't really put into words properly how your complement made me so happy, because it truly did. And I thank you for it. Honestly. I don't get very much feedback on how I am doing with my writing, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is so enjoyable. It is encouraging. So thank you, again. I will happily continue the story with you. I'm almost done dictating out my reply, so it should be up shortly. And being focused on my replay definitely shows in my casual conversation, what with me being a little more formal and in character with Branna

I'm glad that at least one of the conventions went well, though I'm sorry to hear about the others. I hope that things pick up and are considerably more profitable for you. I know what it's like to be in a tight situation, so I truly wish you the best of luck with everything.
