Hm, oh, I see. I don't believe I added a single one the last time I edited, so I think it's possible you miscounted.

Possibly. But either way, you need to get rid of two of them since the current limit is 12. And at the moment only two or possibly three will be available. The others are more so a guideline to let us see what you plan to do.

Unimportant extra note/discussion bit: And I think Kirito or whatever spent less time in a town then my character would. Plus Kirito was more of a warrior than a townsperson, so there's no guarantee that there would be a limit to town skills learned depending on what you did. I think someone who spent more time in town would likely have more passive skills/non-combat skills.

Sprint is not only a passive skill but a sword skill as well, so would that be counted as passive or sword?

And, the only three skills I plan to have available at the moment would be slant vertical and horizontal.

I'll go edit it, I'm not saying I won't, just stating some things, because I think it would be natural for characters to have sales negotiation and buying negotiation or something if they sold loot to NPCs or sweet talked them, etc. But yeah, I'm editing it now. Check back in like 2 minutes.

EDIT: Finished.

I understand what you are saying.
Two things though.
Sword skills count differently from the set of combat, non-combat and passive skills.
It is explained that, players start off with two skill slots to use to obtain a skill that is either a combat, non-combat or passive skill. It is also explained that as players level up, they can unlock more of these slots to get more skills. Kirito was level 96, with twelve slots. Meaning it takes about 9 levels to get another slot to get a skill. That's why we are limitating it to 12 at the point in time.

Edit:
Checked over it, it looks fine now. But I would wait for a final confirmation from Caits or El_Tigre. Get a second check over from someone else in case I missed something, you know? You can probably start posting when one of them give you the thumbs up.

Can I join this roleplay? T-T

I've had such a craving for a SAO roleplay and I can't find one that's open to new applicants!

We are currently still open and letting people join
Go ahead and make a CS
I am one of the Co-GMs and we are currently getting some of the details sorted, like weapon stats, monster stats, exp and things like this. Although we have already started and have just gone with instinct at the start, but we want some sort of standard, to prevent some things.

I'll see if I can find that in the Sword Art LN at some point, be a bit busy to read atm. Be interesting to find out the mechanics and such.

I am also trying to develop quests for each character, indivdualised to them all, but I am having slight trouble. Tigre and Ninja will hopefully help me lol

Essentially, most players are at the second village of Horuna, a few quests have been done, and currently, Yumi, Umichi and Suki are in the next town of Tolbana. So if you want to have your character reach Tolbana, after battling monsters, and maybe level up a few levels (No more than five), then perhaps meet up with them.

I see, no, I don't think I'll meet up with them just yet. My character will pretty much lurk in the beginner village and hunt around there.
