Setting/Plot

Sky High.

A school sat where no one would expect to look. In the air! Created years ago to train and teach young Super-Powered mutants, the campus can only be reached via the flying school bus. Whether you're here to hone your skills for a specific plan, or to simply make friends, Sky High is the place for you! Students are to be assigned as a 'Hero' or 'Villain' depending on their powers, mentality, demeanor, and how they deal with the test that, well, tests your power and control. How will your destiny commence?

Rules

I'm waaay too chill to be making gigantic, paragraph-level rules, so I'll get right down to it.

We're all above the age of 13. We know that writing sex scenes is a no-no, making Gary/Mary Stues are annoying, and that being OP/Powerplaying/Godmodding will get you kicked. So, the only rule?

Name: Tomlin (Tom) Azarov

Gender: Male

Age/Year: 15

Power: Create and control fire. Bigger amounts require more strength from him

Hero or Villain: Hero (at the moment)

Personality: Tom is a friendly, cheerful guy outside, and gets along fine with most people. He's smart, talkative, and likes to explore things and places, though he doesn't talk too much about himself. The problem with him is that when he gets angry about something or at someone, he immediately loses control and becomes violent.

History: Tom came from a normal family, and he was the only one who had powers. When he was nine, their house burned down and in the fire, his 2 year-old brother was killed. Both his parents blamed him for everything, but of course they didn't speak about it to anyone else. They kept him in the house ever since, barely letting him out with other kids, and having him in home school before he was sent to Sky High.

I may just take that part out, and make it 'Hero' or 'Villain' instead of 'Hero' or 'Sidekick'. That way people won't try to compare testicle sizes or whatever.

Name: Zen Morgan, real name is Zen Rakoshi

Power: Power to copy and mimic anything she's seen or heard with perfect accuracy.

Villian or Hero: Hero

Personality: Very complex personality. She's kind, extremely book smart, naive, loud and quiet. Childish and brave.

History: She was born to a single mother. Her father having died before she was born. She lived an ordinary life with her mother. Until she was 2 in which she was diagnosed with autism. Her mother worked hard to make sure Zen had whatever she may have needed and wanted. Home schooling her was the only option due to her social skills and tendencies. Even giving her candy in order to keep her calm until she got home from work.

Zen has a very close relationship with her mother. And if Zen looses sight of her for more than a few minutes Zen will start screaming and screaming 'mommy' over and over again until her mother is within sight.

Zen always had a fondness for martial arts movies, she watched them all the time. That was when she first discovered her powers. She was 9. Her mother saw her watch a martial arts sequence and then perform it with perfect accuracy. Her mother then knew her powers had come in. Her father also had that power, her mother had a power too. The ability to turn her skin into metal.

Zen's mother had then started training her daughter in how to use her power. But, she had no idea what she was doing. So, finally, she decided to enroll Zen into Sky High. With specialized teachers who could give her the learning she couldn't give her. And what Zen deserved.

Zen could've been a hero but due to her condition she would be better off a sidekick.

Other: Zen knows Japanese, it being her first language.(Nothing else to put here really but if you want to know more specifically about Zen's personality look up the foreign film Chocolate. I based Zen off the main character. Great movie by the way.)

Name: Serendipity (Sara) Solomon

Gender: Female

Age/Year: 15

Power: Healer » Using an innate ability to restore the physical structure of higher order life forms given time dependent on injury or illness Sara can effect complete restoration of those lifeforms. This includes restoring lost limbs and curing all diseases an poisons. She cannot however repair genetic damage whether congenital or environmental because her ability uses the subjects genetic code as a blueprint

Hero or Villain: Hero

Personality: Serendipity is considered something of a space cadet because she seems constantly in her own little world. She is known for saying the strangest and often most embarrassing things about other students and even herself.
She pesters her fellow students if they are sick or injured wanting to heal even the slightest injury. She is obsessed with this need to fix people and animals and grows agitated when she isn't allowed to help; she will even heal a former enemy without question.

History: Serendipity is the only child of Serenity Solomon a Hero known as Clue

Clue

Serenity Solomon is a world renowned detective and archaeologist who's primary power of being able to look into the past of most objects keeps her constantly on the move.

Her mother's ability constantly in demand by law enforcement and universities meant that Sara spent little time around her mom after the age of four.
Raised by Nannies and in school since she was four Sara is a bit naive about the outside world.
Her schooling prior to manifestation o her healing ability and attendance to Sky High has been in private all girls schools in europe.

Appearance:

Other: Sara is only labeled a Hero because of how powerful her healing ability is and has no real fighting ability outside of what might be possessed by a 15 year old girl in good physical health.
This is very similar to her mother Clue's classification

Name: Helena Montgomery

Gender: Female

Age/Year: 15

Power: Helena has the power of invisibility, she could turn invisible at will. But this power has yet to advanced. Later in the future her powers will advanced into creating force fields.
(Like Invisible Woman.)

Hero or Villain: Hero

Personality: Helena is sweet and kind. She likes to have fun and be around people. Helena isnt a shy girl, but she is shy around boys. Helena will either go crazy or quiet when she gets really mad. For angirl like, Helena she is pretty brave. Helena is respectful and she is a good listener and will always be there for her friends. Helena is also an adventure girl, she likes to explore things and places.

History: Helena was born in California with only one parent, her mother. Her father left them as soon as he found out that his girlfriend was pregnant with a child. Her mother knew about her abilities. Every girl in the montgomery family line had to be born with some kind of power. Helena's power was invisibility. And ever since then she was brought to a school where they will teach her more about controll.



Other: Helena has a british accent and she is an experience hand to hand combater. Helena is also athletic and she is good with acrobatic skills.

Name: Ellis 'Prestige' Carder

Power: Area of effect illusions. (More info in other)

Hero or Villain: Hero (But personality leans more on Villain. GM?)

Personality: He is a troublemaker. A prankster. Will prank people, but when it comes to serious stuff, he'll be serious. Can be courageous if needed, but generally tends to stay away from trouble that directly involves him. Very impatient. His patience is one thing he needs and wants to improve. A bit shy around people.

History: He grew up in an orphanage, and as a kid, he always spread mischief within the orphanage and without. By the time he was 12 or so, the orphanage got sick of his antics, and he himself decided to leave. He lived in the streets since then. One night, while scouring the alleyways for food and scrap, he found a woman being harassed by seven men. He understood the situation, but he could not help her directly. He wished hard that a policeman will come and help her, but of course, no one came. He then decided to interfere before it was too late. "Hey!" he said as he ran towards the men. The men saw him and ran away, screaming "Cop!". The woman approached him and thanked him, saying "Thank you officer!", then the woman hugged him, except, she was hugging air above him. He then realized that she saw him as a police officer. After that night, he experimented more and more about his power, even ended up helping a stage magician with his illusions. Soon, he was recruited to join Sky High. He accepted, hoping to learn how to use his powers even more, and how to focus better to improve his illusions.

Other: Basically the illusion's effects diminishes the larger the area he wants it to affect. At the height of his power/training, he can make illusions that can affect all senses, including pain receptors, but it has to be a small area (ex. One person, or if he conjure a baseball bat, if he hits someone with it, they will feel it as if it was real, but they won't be damaged.) The limiter to his power is that it takes a huge deal of focus, so 1. He can only make 1 illusion until he can improve his focus. 2. His movement and senses are reduced when he uses an illusion because of the lack of focus towards himself. Currently, at his current status, his powers can already be seen by people within 10 feet of the illusion's focal point, but no other senses(hearing, smell, etc) are affected yet. The power can seem OP, but look at the limiters before deciding. Pretty much harmless until he can improve his concentration so that he can move while maintaining the illusion.

Probability Control: She can control your luck, meaning that she can grant you with good or bad luck of any kind. This is limited to death but only because she is leaning towards being a hero, it may change later when she decides her affiliation. This power can be used in battle situations, it also means she can make things appear from thin air. If that stone you tripped on wasn't there before you should know who to blame.

Personality: Marie is quite the simpleton actually. Though she can be quick to judge and even faster to prank she has a lot of fun just being normal, she looks down to heroes because of how much they celebrate their powers and how they think they are better then the rest. Basically she views herself as an average human, and even if she is more then that it is very hard to face for her.

History:
Born and raised in Michigan, there she spent most of her time playing with other human kids and unintelligibly hurting and giving to others. It was a very simple and easy life and she cherished it...but the money was rough. Each year her parents won a big lottery, of course Marie supported her loving parents and so unbeknownst to her and the rest of her family she was making them win. So she grew up rich, she had a pleasant life that she didn't exactly want. It was fine until her mother died...

They had been fighting one day, like mothers and daughters do, Marie had gotten so mad that the worst happened. During an argument her mother fell down the stairs of their nice house, and she ended up with a fire poker in her waist. It had all been Marie's fault and at that point she knew it, so she stole some cash money and ran as her dad was in the hospital consoling her mother. How she ended up at Sky High is a mystery to others. She lives in her own apartment and has an easy life, working part time and living off of lotteries and twenty dollar bills she finds laying on the ground.

Name: Dimitri Bjorn Resonov

Gender: Male

Age/Year: 16

Power: Hammer of Thor. He can create and fire lighting from his hands, though when he is about to use his powers he has to charge for a little while to use his hammer of Thor to eletrocute his foes.

Hero or Villain: More villain than hero

Personality: Dimitriv Sees most of the people around him as inferiors that is either not fit to live or just deemed in his eyes to be the perfect slave. His two timing face which he has used his whole life since he learned to lie has brought him to the level of a great liar which he takes form the northen god loki. He can get quite soft from time to time just for the pity of the inferior people, making him do a little good here and there

History: Born in Russia, his family moved to the Us when he was just three years old. His parents were living in the poor part of town. So Dimitri never had really anything to call his own which made him envy the other kids that were in his school since they brought their toys with them and even bragged about how their dads had bought them cool toys which he would never have. At the age of ten. He was sitting at a bench on the playground all alone for himself since he had growen quite a dislike to the other boys, even girls in his school and relly did prefare to sit alone and enjoy the sounds of nature. As he was sitting there minding his own busniess a girl came over to him dressed in all pink with a curious look on her face that was totally overlooknig Dimitri, that just ignored her at first. After ten minutes of keeping it op he started to get irrretated about her overlooking him and turned to face her with an treating look. " Piss off before i smash your face into the concret" He said in his hatefull tone, trying to get the girl away but it didn't work as he planed. Insteed she got closer towards him and so close that he himelf got a little nervos.

Since threating the kids with smashing ther heads into the concret usualy scares them off or make them cry. Just not this one girl here that just stood close to him and looked at him like he was some ecotic animal or something. Then she did it, she freaking did it. Hugging him was the freaking last thing he wanted frim her but it felt so calming and relaxing that he didn't borther evne fighting agaisnt her hugging. Having her hug him for five minutes was getting quite strange now. " OKEY STOP THE HUGGING" He yelled out which landed on deaf ears. She finaly released him after a minute or two later after he had yelled towards her. She dock behind her and fished a note book out and handed him it where it standed " Angelica. Noding a little he looked towards her and just sighed, opening the book he read the first thing 'I'm deaf" He looked looked op to her again and noded. He had a pincel in his pocket and took it out and started to write something inside the notebook 'Why are you even borthering to start contact with me' He passed the note book and looked at her face that had a strange look but as she started to write in the nootbook and handed him it again ' Because you look so sad."

He just stared at her for a second and just sighed again, with him standing op from the bench. Writing the last thing into the notebook that he took again 'Well Thanks for telling me. But please get away from me you will not gain anything from hanging around with me " He passed the book and started to walk away from her. She was just sitting on the bench looking at him as he walked away.

Fastforward three years He was soon going to get out of that shitty school of his and it couldn't be fast enough if you asked him. Dimitri had growen quite a lot. Standing behind the school he was sitting on the ground with a smoke in his hand that he took a few hivs form it. What he didn't know that hte deaf girl had been secrely watching him for the last three years since they met at the bench. She had tried to make him smile since she like to see people smile and Dimitri havent smiled even once in the three years they had went to school together.

Dimitri was thinking about how to get revnge on some punks that had cheated him out of some money He had already used his power once with calling thunder upon a three in rage. Lets just say there were once a tree there, But he couldn't use it ever since. He picked himself op and stood on his legs and walked a little, as he reached to his pocket and saw that he was out of smokes. He had to find his older smoke seller.. After two hours of walking he was now infront of his smole seller knocking three times the door was open shortly after reviling an man maybe in his early thirties " The usual" Dimitri noded and the man just closed the door and shortly returned with two packs of smokes. Paying with the last of his cash he had on him he was sure now that he had to find that little shit now and beat the living crap out of him now. Walking back to the school he was getting the feeling like he was being watched and it was getting fucking creepy. What he didn't know is that the one that was watching him was the deaf girl.

Arriving at the school again he saw that it was break time and all the fucking brats were outside playing, like there wasn't a care in the world. Sighing he walked towards his usual hanging stop, but only to find that it had been taken by the same little twat that cheated him. Quickly running over to him and doing a flying kick like in those kung fu movies he hit him in the head throwing him backwards " You own me money bitch " Dimitri now stood infront of a little whining bitch that was calling for mommy. "Now give me the money you cheated out of me or i will do some adult things towards. Wait your not even worth the hasle since your nothing more than an infeior little piece of dirt." He freaking liked saying those words each time he does say them he becomes more asureing that its true that he was superior and they were inferior. Not wanting to wait for the little whining twat to hand his money over himself. Dimitri couched down and seached the kids pockets and found his money and a little extra that he happly took from him " Yo thnaks for the extra cash twat" He laughed a little as he walked away from the scene.

What he didn expect was that the same deaf girl was now standing infront of him with an angry exprestion on her face. Quickly stoming towards dimitri she pressed his nerve that was on the neck real hard. The russian boy was just screaming and got on his knees " Fucking stop it just make it stop." She stoped as she had learned to read lips in the three years and could mostly understand what people were saying. Holding her hand out he just looked at her with a dum exprestion but slowly gave the extra money to her which she walked to the boy that was laying on the ground and put the money into his pocket. Walking back she took Dimitri by the ear and dragged him along. " Fucking hell that hurts !" He wondered why he even let her boss him around like he was some inferior scum.

Reaching the stop that she usual draged him too she just shoke her head and wrote something on a piece of paper and reached him it 'Be nicer to the kids Dimitri, since the teacher knows about your vilote skipings of school !' He just shugged " So let the dragon know what im doing. Still under age so the cops can't do jackshit towards me " He said with a smile on his lips but got a flat hand dashed on his cheek and with the deaf girl walking awa. He saw her walk away with his hand holding where she had hit him, wondering what just happened.

Three years after the incedent he had growen even more now at 6'0 feet tall, but still slim as slim shady. He had gotten more control over his power that he had doubed Hammer of thor since he freaking loved norse mythologic. Sure with him getting more control over his power he had been spoted and was now going to be enrolling into sky high a school for teenagers like him with diffrent powers that he kinda finded cool since maybe he could find supiror people like himself among the students

Name: Zed Vaine

Gender: Male

Age/Year: 15

Power: Zed's abilities are something you would call 'Body/Bone Manipulation', as his skin, flesh, muscles, and over-all self stretches, tears, and reshapes itself into the weapon, appendage, or object of the boy's wild imagination. Because of the odd control he has over his body, Zed's standard attributes are naturally enhanced - he's stronger, faster, and a Hell of a lot more durable than normal humans. He usually utilizes his own bones for weapons, ways of movements (E.G Bone wings from his back), or things of that nature, while using his 'flesh' manipulation for more...subtle and odd things, such as extra arms, or turning his own arms into long, spiky tentacles, or even transforming his body into a sick replication of a jelly fish, or squid.

Hero or Villain: Definitely a villain.

Personality: Zed's entire body gives off a sinisterly bad vibe. He's usually quiet and serious, sitting by himself when it's not mandatory to interact with others, but keen eyes are always looking over and analyzing everything around him, not giving anyone a chance to sneak in and 'mess him up'. He doesn't bother with silly theatrics, and whenever the usage of his powers are necessary he goes in directly, attacking with controlled brutality and an odd finesse that obviously makes him live up to his 'Villainous' title. He's an over-all chill guy to be around - maybe a little abrupt and cold, but as long as you don't piss him off, which is pretty easy to do, but hard to realize, then you'll be on his good list. To put it in simple terms? Cold, calm, observational, and relatively friendly if he respects or likes you. Zed has nothing against the 'Heroic' types, but tends to find their overwhelming kindness, or will to be good, a tad...annoying. Not to mention his parents' manipulation to make him hate all of humankind.

He doesn't, of course.

History: Zed was originally born to two of the more...unmerciful, serious Villains, 'Skeletore' and 'Flesh-Warp'. They were notorious years ago for being some of the few villains who actually killed other human beings, but they were also two of the most mysterious, only coming out as their aliases and not giving a clue to who they really were. After their reign of Villainy ended, they adopted the aliases of Mr. and Mrs. Vaine, quickly climbing the corporate ladders and becoming CEO's and Owners of the Business 'Vaine Industries'.

They lived a happy, upper-class life...until they had a son, which they quickly named Zed. He had a mixture of their powers, and although they had to...deal with the doctor once Zed accidentally stabbed the man in the eye with a sharp fingernail, they instantly took to their baby, teaching him the ways of the villain and having him study, and train, to keep his powers controlled and sharp. Zed didn't have much of a social life, staying in his parents' manor and either studying or practicing, but he quickly adopted his mother's cold, concise, and brutal attitude, while keeping a shred of his father's wickedness and witty, chilled, and slightly sarcastic sense of personality. When it was time to go to Sky High, he quietly left after giving his parents a handshake, internally eager to get the school over with.

Female- Genesis Crane
Male- Gabriel Crane

Gender: They can change.

Age/Year: 14, a freshman

Power: G can change genders, although it doesn't seem like a useful power G puts it to good use. Genesis looks venerable and innocent where as Gabriel looks mischievous and evil.

Hero or Villain: Villain

Personality: G is awkward, and usually a jerk if we're using nice words.

History: G was originally born as Genesis Crane, around the time Genesis was 12 and a half she had been trying to figure out what her power was and assumed it was shapeshifting because those were her parents powers. As she willed to change forms she thought nothing happened until she looked in the mirror and found that her power was changing genders. Unfortunately G's father died in an unfortunate accident.

Also, Coach Boomers will decide on your character's Heroism or Villainy depending on how you have your character deal with his obstacle course/test. Don't worry, however. He will still pick what you put in your character's sheets.

What I'm saying is that your character won't know what he/she is until Coach Boomers tells them. You, as the creators, know, though.
