Obligatory fast forward sequence.

Marcus was standing on a street corner smoking a cigar. The rain was coming down in torrents, drowning out all other sound. Damn, he thought. This might make it a little more difficult to hear The Ripper if he came out of hiding for their bait. He tossed the butt onto the ground and looked at his fellow Order members gathered around him. He withdrew his revolver and checked to see if it was loaded.

He steadied it at his side, and nodded at Eric.

"Open that thing up in an alley and everybody take a vantage point. We don't want to be anywhere near this son of a bitch." He pointed towards various rooftops, and a handful of trees that stood in a nearby park.

"Then, if it lures him out. Only open fire if you're positive you'll make a hit." He looked up at the dark, stormy sky.

"We can't let him get away."

Sir Easton broke the barrel of his newly sawn off shot gun checking that both rounds were the buckshot, no use having a fantastic spread if you . With that he snapped the gun back closed and nodded to Marcus "Im going to position myself in that door way. No use being super far away from the bastard when he goes for the heart. And if her runs the alley will confine my shot pattern to just the alleyway, less chance of civilian casualties and all that"

Eric had also added a short hanger sword to his belt, he was after all a knight but he doubted it would be much more that a fall back or a means of decapitating that bastard if he could get close enough but he would rely on his shot gun and revolver to get the job down. "If only we had a couple hounds we could sick them on him" With that Eric headed off down the alley way. Producing the jar of heart he undid the lid and dumped the offending object onto the cobble stones of the alley before he moved to the doorway and surreptitiously looked both ways down the alley before putting his shoulder into the door forcing the lock. With that he moved into the back room of a shop off the alleyway closing the door behind him. Sir Easton released the safety from his shotgun and pressed himself up against the doorway and peered out of the window on the door into the murky alleyway. He had an almost unobstructed view of the alley but someone looking in would have a hard time of it because of the pitch dark interior of the shop. With that The Raven settled in to wait for his prey.

"Then, if it lures him out. Only open fire if you're positive you'll make a hit." He looked up at the dark, stormy sky. "We can't let him get away." Richtofen nodded and unslung his rifle. After seeing what this man could do, Willhelm didn't feel comfortable depending on his revolver. He used his remaining money to get purchase the Model 1886 Winchester from a hunting shop on Audley Street. He hoped it was worth the alcohol money he spent on it.

He quietly climbed up stairs to the top floor flat. No one seemed to be home, so he took a position overlooking the small alley, watching Sir Easton pour a jar into the street. Wilhelm couldn't see or smell it, but he had a pretty good idea of what it was. "Only the freshest bait will do." he muttered to himself. He sat down at the window, rifle at the ready, waiting for their target.

Victor Crow

The day was here, the day this Ripper himself found him to be their prey. Eric was told to crack open the jar of rotted heart. Victor, normally didn’t come on missions he always provides research and what one would call back up. But this time marked something new. A possible divergence in this Ripper. What ever he was it he didn’t have the knowledge of this beast. A possible sub species? Although Victor had skills with a pistol, nothing he knew would be of use to them. As Marcus told them to take cover, some chose to remain nearby, but Victor chose hiding out in the park.

Pressed up against a tree, he had ample vision to spot any civilians. He held his revolver in his hand just in case, his colt walker felt even heavier in his hands. Not wanting to draw too much attention to himself, he held a book in his off hand concealing the gun, to an extent. Anyone who got close or was perceptive enough could spot it, but the rain, and darkness the enveloped the park would make that unlikely. As the others waited, rain fell over the city and a light fog formed on the ground.
