Guys, I think I found the perfect motto for Avalon Squadron:
Ritterlich im Kriege, wachsam für den Frieden
(Chivalrous in War, Vigilant for Peace)
While its origins are in the Afrika Korps of the Second World War, I feel that it goes perfectly with Avalon being a King Arthur reference and knights playing a big role in Arthurian legends. Give it some thought, yeah?

I'm considering Farid's F-20 to have additional internal weapons bay (since the original had only five hardpoints), but does that mean the central hardpoint of the F-20 (normally used for drop tanks) have to be removed?

From what I'm seeing in the F-20 Tigershark schematics I find online, it'll be quite troublesome to put in internal bays. It's got a pretty flat bottom, and it's pretty small to begin with, so I don't think there's space for an internal bay unless you bulge out the underside, which might cause aerodynamic problems due to increased induced drag. I guess if you really want additional hardpoints, you can try putting two more fore of the fuselage landing gears. They'll only be able to carry short missiles due to space issues, but it should work. Admittedly, I don't have a weight-and-balance diagram of the F-20, so it might cause some instability issues.

I'm very impressed with the characters posted, both are definitely approved. When I have more of a chance, I'll add them to the OP. Rafale, it seems likely that our characters may have heard of one another, even if they haven't met. Or only met in passing.

Re: the Nimue's runway, it's smaller and straighter than a normal aircraft carrier, as it's a submarine. I'll try and post a diagram once I have more time to do so. If you re-read the info in the OP though, it does have more about aircraft launch and recovery and storage, as well as the ship facilities.

I also love the motto - I think it sums up what to aspire to perfectly. The chivalry aspect fits in neatly with all the Arthurian references as well.

Yeah, I assumed so too. I only put 'unknown to him' as he doesn't know who exactly would be transferred. He'd probably have heard of her before, just that he didn't meet her yet.

Also, just made an edit on the paint job part of the CS regarding kill marks.

I personally think the one I found went better with the Arthurian references (trust me, we'll be seeing a lot more of them, with what Silver's shown me).

Yeah, I like the one Rafale came up with for the same reason - it fits in with all the Arthurian references, and has a ring of honour and nobility to it, which I personally feel fits well. Especially since we're supposed to be the good guys.

Should be something like "We have no match in the skies" in my opinion, as there are plenty of enemies considering that the UNWO has an advantage in numbers compared to the UN.

All in all, I support the idea of having a motto for the team.
