Rosie gave a quick glare at the housekeeper before walking up to Vindle.
After pouring some soup into a bowl for Rosie, Vindle started eating his own.

Cassedy leaned against one of the walls, watching as they ate their share of meals. She didn't partake in the eating, it didn't look appetizing...but she did try her hardest to keep a 'happy' smile on her face.

"You need to eat." The housekeeper snapped at Cassedy. "Or you can leave. I don't have time for children who don't do what they are told."

Cassedy sighed, glancing at the housekeeper and shaking her head. "Sorry ma'am, I'll get right to that...thank you." She smiled sharply and walked towards the table.

Kyo smiled at Sky and found a ladle to pour soup into the two bowls. Once they were full, he handed one to her.

"Thank you!" Sky said smiling and she sat the bowl down on the counter and stood on the stool and scooped some on the soup up into her spoon and ate it. "It's good!" She said smiling brightly

Edwin and Cenhelm poured the soup into two different bowls. They started toeat it. It wasn't the best thing they had tasted, but not the worst.

Tasting the soup in his bowl, Kyo realized that it actually was pretty good. Not like a restaurant, but not bad. He smiled, happy that they had been able to make it fairly well.

Sky ate all of her soup quickly

Daniel debated whether or not to eat the soup he and Kat had just created. Then he decided to eat it, mainly out of good manners. That, and the fact that it might be his only lunch. It didn't actually taste that bad, perhaps because he ate it quite quickly.

"Ah! That was good!" Rosie said. This was the first time she smiled since she got to the orphanage.
"It was." Vindle said.

"Once you have eaten I want everyone to go to the gym. We will have power development next. Give some thought to who you might like battle." The housekeeper told them. "That means you need to get to know one another before I start having you fight one another."

[Vindle]

"Excuse me, may I go get my weapons? I'm assuming you know each of our powers and know why, if not I'll explain." Vindle said.

At the mention of battle, Daniel suddenly jerked his head upward. He loved a good fight, and smacked his right fist into his left palm, smiling. He looked around, trying to figure out who would be weakest.

Sarah watched and waited braiding and retraining her hair. She really wanted to go find where to rest but the house keeper lady wanted everyone to stay here so that's what she did." Fighting, I don't want anyone to get hurt again. Last time I fought the other person was hanging from a tree."

Chip stood up and walked to the gym. He opened the doors and walked in. He sat on the bleachers on summoned a penny, making it spin in the air, his way of exercising his powers. He wondered who he would be fighting. He hoped it would be a formidable opponent, and not some person who doesn't even know how to use their powers. But he wasn't picky, and he would take on whoever he was fighting, and he would do his best to win.

"Excuse me, may I go get my weapons? I'm assuming you know each of our powers and know why, if not I'll explain." Vindle said.

"Yes Vindle. I know each of everyone's powers. And yes you can get your weapons if you have some no sharpened ones. Otherwise you have to work with the training weapons first." The housekeeper announced. "Make sure that those that need help get it."

"I can adjust how much they damage someone, so the harmfulness of them doesn't matter until I link them with my powers." Vindle said as he walked out.

That went well.
Kyo finished up his soup and looked around. The housekeeper said they would be fighting in the gym? It still sounded like the kind of thing children would be expected not to do, but maybe she meant it as a self-defence class of some kind. Did that make sense? He guessed so.

Hime knocked on the door.
"E-e-excuse me!" she called out, grasping onto the handle of her suitcase. I'm such an airhead, getting tricked like this... she thought.

Vindle came back down with two cases, each holding a weapon. He'd only use one pair, though: either the two handguns or dual swords. Since he wasn't very experienced with the ninja star, he'd hold off on that.
