Zed's hood unzipped itself, almost as if on it's own accord, once the arrival of a few other minds pricked his mental fortress. The psychic gave a small, unseeable smile at the arrival of the little guy, Trevor, and gave a nod to Kyo. Being one of the eldest in the orphanage, and arguably one of the more dangerous, he often spent his time locked in the basement, where he was given food and books while learning to control his powers. While on his random strolls, where he basically blasted a hole through his locked metal door and roamed the halls, he often saw Trevor, and quickly became 'connected' to the odd necromancer boy. He found the 'dead crow' thing amusing, although a small peek into his mind showed exactly why he carried the crow around.
"I can guide the other, if necessary." he spoke up, leaning back into his seat and closing his eyes. The fork in front of him stood up on it's own, flying into the air and performing complex aerial maneuvers. To exhaust the energy in his mind, and make it so that the memory from his first day of life wouldn't happen again, Zed had to constantly use his psychic powers, even for small, stupid things. That's why he always enjoyed gym and any other power-training course.
A small thermos of piping hot soup drifted from the kitchen, and Zed began sipping the hot broth. He didn't need much to drink or eat to survive. Soup was always nice, however.
